“Kristen did an excellent job, and I highly recommend her. I was a little hesitant at first because of the pricing, but once I realized what was included, it made complete sense. Her setup is on a large piece of land that has clearly been customized specifically for pets. There are multiple fenced-in areas where dogs can safely run freely, and it gave me a lot of peace knowing my dog had space, structure, and proper care. Her communication could not have been better. Every time I texted her, she responded within minutes and fully addressed whatever concern I had. I also noticed a real difference in my dog after coming home. Before the stay, my dog would just come up to me and act excited when she needed to go outside. Now she actually cries to be let out, which is much easier to understand. She also seems to pull a lot less when I take her outside, so it honestly feels like some obedience training happened during the stay too. The kennel is climate controlled, the property is very well set up, and Kristen clearly cares about the dogs she watches. She even gave my dog special treats like pup cups with peanut butter and whipped cream. I was honestly worried my dog might not want to come home. If you want to leave your dog somewhere and not have to worry the whole time, this is the place.”
About: I have always cared for my friends animals when they are traveling and I also have had my cat Nola for 5 years. I’m also familiar with animals having anxiety and how to care for them by creating a routine that’s safe and fun. November 2025 started year five of me owning and operating a pet care company that is listed as an LLC in Ohio, and I have loved every single second of it! While on a walk your dog will be my sole focus. I will be sure to select a different route (if possible) during each walk to help them get familiar with their area, but to also help stimulate their brain with the different scents. If you have multiple dogs that need to be walked separately, for any reason, I will rotate my routes so that each dog is exploring a different area instead of where their fur sibling just was. I am happy to go as fast paced, or as leisurely as Fido wants to take our time together. My typical drop-in (play date) visit consists of the following: enter and greet your beloved furkid who will be totally excited to see me (hello treats!- only if it's okay with you first), and then take them outside to potty. While outside I am happy to play fetch, or any other activity they're interested in. Once we come back in I check the water/food situation, and am happy to take care of any medical needs that may be required at this time from giving pills to injections. There's time for a snuggle, or a game, and then it's one last potty break before I head out for the morning or afternoon. I send detailed Rover cards after every visit, and will include as many photos as possible. For boarding and daycare we are located on 30 acres in Tipp City, with 6 private fully fenced dog parks to choose from. About: I have taken care of and been around animals for as long as I can remember. Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to take care of, feed, and play with their pets. “Kristen did an excellent job, and I highly recommend her. I was a little hesitant at first because of the pricing, but once I realized what was included, it made complete sense. Her setup is on a large piece of land that has clearly been customized specifically for pets. There are multiple fenced-in areas where dogs can safely run freely, and it gave me a lot of peace knowing my dog had space, structure, and proper care. Her communication could not have been better. Every time I texted her, she responded within minutes and fully addressed whatever concern I had. I also noticed a real difference in my dog after coming home. Before the stay, my dog would just come up to me and act excited when she needed to go outside. Now she actually cries to be let out, which is much easier to understand. She also seems to pull a lot less when I take her outside, so it honestly feels like some obedience training happened during the stay too. The kennel is climate controlled, the property is very well set up, and Kristen clearly cares about the dogs she watches. She even gave my dog special treats like pup cups with peanut butter and whipped cream. I was honestly worried my dog might not want to come home. If you want to leave your dog somewhere and not have to worry the whole time, this is the place.”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my strong experience working with dogs and puppies of all sizes, breeds, and energy levels. I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, starting with pets belonging to family and friends, which helped me build a solid foundation of hands-on experience with dogs in everyday home environments. I’m especially comfortable with puppies and understand the patience and consistency they need while learning routines like potty training, crate training, leash walking, and basic commands. I also enjoy helping reinforce positive behaviors through structure, repetition, and lots of encouragement. For adult dogs, I adapt easily to their personality—whether they are high-energy and need plenty of exercise or more relaxed and prefer a calm routine. I also have experience with senior dogs who may need a slower pace, medication reminders, and extra attention to comfort and mobility. I pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, and behavioral cues, so they feel secure and understood while in my care. My goal is always to create a safe, trusting environment where dogs feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I also provide regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially with my availability in the afternoons and evenings. Since I work part time, I have ample time during the day to give pets the attention, exercise, and care they need. I enjoy spending my evenings going on walks, which would make it easy and consistent for me to provide daily exercise and outdoor time. I also look forward to using my free time for play, feeding, and bonding activities that help build trust and comfort with pets. In my home or a client’s home, I provide pet care with consistency, attentiveness, and respect for the animal’s routine and comfort level. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, portion sizes, medication instructions if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. I make sure pets always have fresh water, regular meals, and a clean, safe environment. I prioritize daily exercise and enrichment through walks, playtime, and interaction suited to the pet’s age, energy level, and personality. I also focus on building trust through calm, patient handling and positive attention. In a client’s home, I am mindful of maintaining the space exactly as instructed, keeping things clean and secure, and making sure the pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. I understand the importance of routine, so I do my best to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible for the pet while their owner is away. “I was extremely pleased with Michelle!!! She watched my 2 young Chihuahuas, Letty and Diesel, and my large Senior mixed breed, Casper. Casper has only stayed with family in the past and I have never had to leave the Chihuahuas with anyone. Michelle made me very comfortable. Her home was clean with lots of space to keep the smaller Chihuahuas safe. She kept me updated during their stay and also sent pictures. All 3 of my dogs were given extra TLC and relaxed with her quickly. I will definitely use her services again.”
About: As well as owning dogs and cats all 24 years of my life, I’ve volunteered at animal shelters and have been working with rover for a few years now to gather experience loving other family pets as my own. I promise to be a new best friend while you are away from your fur babies! i work third shift four days a week so i have a very open schedule for walks and drop ins. my best times are 9am-noon and 4pm-7pm but i am open to requests at any time:) while walking dogs i ALWAYS keep them on leash. i’m comfortable helping with whatever you need whether that’s just hanging out or maybe brushing your pet:) just ask!
“Pretty sure my dog, Asher, had more fun with Lois and John than he does with us!!! I wasn't sure how Asher would be with their dogs, and they let us come over for a meet and greet before we officially booked them. Asher loved them--their dogs are very well behaved. We got constant pictures and videos and updates so we could check in on our pup from afar. Couldn't recommend Lois and John more, we will definitely be using them again in the near future!”
