If your dog is selective, reactive, or has shown aggression toward other animals, my home may not be the best fit. For your dog’s stay, please bring their food, vaccination records, and any medications they may need along with clear instructions. If your dog requires a crate for sleeping or when left alone, please bring one, as I do not currently provide crates. You’re welcome to bring a favorite bed or blanket to help your dog feel more at home, although I have plenty of beds and blankets available. You do not need to bring bowls unless your dog uses a slow feeder or a special bowl. I recommend leaving favorite toys or valuable items at home. Dogs love to play, and toys can sometimes get worn out or misplaced. Don’t worry though—I have plenty of toys and enrichment activities to keep everyone entertained! The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! I really loves my job, it means a lot to me I get to be in that environment and I'm depended on to keep them all safe and happy. And I am a second year student at Muskingum University, I am majoring in Animal Studies in hopes of having an animal conservation related job. I'm a college student and normally drop in between classes and have the rest of the day to tend to pet's. During the summer I am usually employed and work around my schedule At home I spend time walking the dogs mostly and hanging around the house with them. About: I’ve had 2+ dogs in my entire life. In my adult life I’ve had 2+ service dogs that travel with me. I am a critical care nurse who has taken pet CPR as far as safety. I have emergency meds as well. Luckily, I have a house with a fences in yard, animal friendly household with spare rooms and a heated/cooled garage/closed/secured garage for any kind of special separation needs (in heat/aggressive breeds/outside animals, etc).
