“We came all the way from Baltimore to visit friends in the area, and had to board Willow. It was Willow's first time spending the night away from us since we got her 4 months ago. Tracy was super kind and loving toward our anxious 7YO doggie. She sent photos and was watchful enough to notice some behaviors of Willow's that seemed to possibly indicate a health problem (it resolved itself). We felt Willow was getting the best possible care next to our own. We will definitely use Tracy again next time we come to visit Athens County! Thanks Tracy!”
“Wendy was awesome. I never expected to get photos during the week, but I did and they were fun to see. I am glad that Ted was a gentleman and that Wendy provided such loving care. Marcia”
“From the moment we stepped into Cristi’s home, we could tell our pup felt comfortable and loved. Cristi sent frequent updates and photos through out the stay. She really went out of her way to make sure we knew our dog was getting spoiled and loved on while we were away which is all we could’ve ever wanted! Will definitely be using Cristi everytime we need a dog sitter!!!!”

About: I have 26 years of experience caring for pets in shelters, boarding facilities, training environments, and veterinary settings. I’ve had the privilege of working with animals of all ages, personalities, and needs, and I truly enjoy building trust with each one. My approach is calm, patient, and gentle, with a focus on making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for as if they were my own. Pet care fits well into my routine, as I work at a veterinary office daily until 5 PM. I am available for evening visits, walks, and drop-in care during the week, and overnight care is also available on weekdays as long as I am able to attend my work shift the following day. I carefully plan my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent, reliable, and attentive care. I provide pet care exclusively in my client’s home to ensure pets remain comfortable in their familiar environment and daily routine. I follow each owner’s specific instructions closely, including feeding, walking, litter box care, medication administration, and enrichment time. I also monitor behavior and overall wellbeing, paying attention to any changes that may need prompt communication with the owner. My goal is to provide calm, consistent, and attentive care while maintaining the pet’s normal routine.

“Wendy took great care of my 3 cats. She came once a day and spent time with them. She shared photos and communicated with me every day. I never have to worry about the kitties when she is taking care of them. I feel very lucky to have found her!”
“Our cat was well and as happy as he gets when his people returned from being away. Jacob did seem to forget some of the details of our instructions, such as refilling the second upstairs water dish. Still, our cat did not go without any essentials, and Jacob's photo updates were reassuring. Thank you, Jacob!”
“mackenzie was an amazing sitter for my cat! my kitty is notoriously shy and aggressive around people but by the end of our trip mackenzie was cookie’s new friend! very diligent with photos and updates. highly recommend!”
“Charity has been amazing. This is our first time leaving our home and cats in the care of someone we didn't personally know, and it has been a great experience. Charity sent photos with every visit, asked pertinent questions, and was so kind to our furkids. We will absolutely be using her again!”

About: I have 20+ years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, personalities, and needs. I also run a nonprofit animal sanctuary, so animal care is a major part of my everyday life. I have experience with rescue animals, seniors, shy and anxious pets, medication routines, mobility limitations, and animals who simply need a little more patience and understanding. Senior and special-needs pets are especially welcome. I’m comfortable helping with stairs, mobility support, medications, slower-paced walks, and adjusting care to whatever helps your pet feel safest and most comfortable. I’m home full-time, which means your pet gets plenty of supervision, companionship, enrichment, and one-on-one attention rather than being left alone for long stretches. Most importantly, I treat every animal as an individual and try to keep their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible while they’re in my care. I’m home full-time and animal care is already a major part of my daily routine through my nonprofit sanctuary and rescue. That gives me a very flexible schedule for feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medications, enrichment, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day. Safety and comfort always come first. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible and take introductions slowly when other animals are involved. I’m experienced with rescue animals, seniors, anxious pets, and animals who need extra supervision or their own space. I’m also comfortable with medications, mobility assistance, crates, gates, and keeping pets safely separated when needed.

About: I recently left a 16 year career where I grew from caseworker to supervisor to manager. I decided to pursue opportunities to care for animals, as animals are my true passion. I grew up on a small farm where we had cows, horses, pigs, chickens, dogs, cats, canaries and hamsters. I have always loved animals and enjoy caring for them. I look forward to caring for your beloved pets. I recently left my full time job to explore pet care services. I will do all I can to be available for you and your pets’ needs at anytime. I can provide care in my home, or stay in your home, wherever your pets are most comfortable. I would be able to stay the night in your home if you prefer, or stop by your home as you request. This would be determined by what is best for you and your pets.
