He can be a bit much at first, he jumps up to look you in the eye (or lick your face) to say hi. We did a couple meet and greets to make sure laszlo would be a good fit for her home and her other regulars. She has such a great understanding of dog behavior and takes great care to make sure the dogs staying together will have a safe and fun experience. She cares for dogs of all sizes and they always seem happy and to get along well! Through the pictures she sent, I know laszlo had a blast with her, her big yard, and the other dogs. Her updates kept me at ease knowing laszlo was getting along well and being a good house guest during our 2 weeks out of town. About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. About: Family and friends started asking me to take care of their pets when I was around 15 years old. Ever since, I've taken care of dogs and cats (even a few lizards!) for people all over my hometown. I've done simple tasks like going to someone's home to just let the dogs out to potty and feed them, all the way to staying at people's homes while they're away. About: I have always owned dogs and one is medium sized and one is small. I got a five month old puppy when I was 14 and trained her fully. I dog sit for family and friends and want to expand and do more dog sitting! I love cuddling with dogs, taking them for walks, and playing with them. During the school year, I am away at college as a nursing student but come home for a few days monthly. I am fully capable of giving your dog walks, clean up their mess, give medication, crate them, etc., genuinely anything that is important to you! I will give so many belly rubs and cuddles as well.
About: I grew up with cats and dogs constantly in my life. I understand the need for medication given on time, cats needing daily litter changes, and everything that goes along with pet care. I am free anytime of day. I’m very open, loving, and enjoy building relationships with clients and their pets. Best part of my day is when their animals remember me. All animals are always welcome! I love going on walks with clients dogs, or sitting and taking care of their cats. Other animals are welcome as well, I have had training with all other animals as well- goats, horses, sheep and beyond.
About: My experience goes back to being the go-to walker for our family dog as a kid to minding my cat today. It’s not unusual for me to meet a dog or cat and become acquainted in minutes I work from home with a flexible schedule. Therefore, I can be on-call at various times. I’m also used to fitting pet care for my cat into my daily routine. I make sure to follow all instructions laid out by the pet parent and get clarification wherever necessary, as well as communicate any issues that may arise.
About: I’m a certified volunteer handler for service dogs in training at 4 Paws for Ability. Sitters and handlers are trained to train, care for, and accumulate soon to be service dog puppies. I also have have experience as an overnight pet sitter for dogs of all sizes and backgrounds. I am comfortable with any breed and do well with pets suffering from anxiety. I’m starting my PhD program in the fall and am looking to make some extra cash before the semester begins in August. I have nothing but time until then and I would love to fill it up with puppy love! It’s totally normal for your pet to get the puppy blues without you there. Some things I do that has often helped ease this anxiety is being available for around the clock care, doing some soothing activities like mat licking, and lots of belly scratches!
About: I have a lot of experience with taking care of animals. Growing up, we always had at least one dog in the house. I have three dogs back at my home in Cleveland, Ohio that I miss a lot. I work for PetSmart full time at their corporate office and would love the opportunity to share my passion about dogs by taking care of yours in my free time. I currently have a dog named Winston who is a two year old cairn terrier mix. I have experience with house-dog sitting and dog walking. Assisted my mom with dog(s) and cat(s) care, I'm pet Cpr and first aid certified through Pet Tech. I'm working part time so I'm available by appointment only for Dog Walking and Drop-in Visits between 9am and 8pm, I can make room for your appointment. I'll walk client's dog always on leash and I'll keep it distanced away from other dogs, the only time I'll walk it with another dog is if its from same household.

“This was our first time using Shauna to watch our 95 pound, energetic lap dog and we were so impressed! He can be a bit much at first, he jumps up to look you in the eye (or lick your face) to say hi. We did a couple meet and greets to make sure laszlo would be a good fit for her home and her other regulars. She has such a great understanding of dog behavior and takes great care to make sure the dogs staying together will have a safe and fun experience. She cares for dogs of all sizes and they always seem happy and to get along well! Through the pictures she sent, I know laszlo had a blast with her, her big yard, and the other dogs. Her updates kept me at ease knowing laszlo was getting along well and being a good house guest during our 2 weeks out of town. While I know he missed us, I’m pretty sure he would choose to stay at Shauna’s again/more often/regularly! I highly recommend Shauna!”
