I've had critters to love and care for since I can remember - all kinds: dogs, cats, a pony, ducks, chickens, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs and fish. Animals have always been a very important part of my life. I worked for a vet for several years, was on the Board of my local SPCA and have rescued 3 dogs and a cat as part of our family in the past 15 years. Now our empty nest home is pretty quiet but I am always ready to love some more! I started pet sitting for friends and discovered how fulfilling it can be, so I am more than ready to care for your fur baby too. I am at home full time now and have the whole day to tailor to the needs of the critters I care for, so even special needs are not usually a problem. I am an avid photographer and will happily send photo updates regularly. OH, and I go by LOLLY (a nickname since I was a toddler). I have a large fenced yard for off-leash, supervised play time and live in a forest with acres of trails for leashed walks. I have one cat at home and aim to board only ONE DOG AT A TIME (or two if they are housemates already). Your pet will stay inside my home which is a peaceful and safe environment, no small children, quiet neighbours and a husband who loves to give free belly rubs! Home 24/7 so am able to be with your pet all day and night which is especially important for little ones who aren't used to being away from home. Your dog will be loved and have playmates while you are away. My husband Marcus and I will feed and walk your pet. Walking is usually 1 time a day unless other instructions are given. About: I have always had pets growing up when I was younger and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. About: I have had pets for my whole life. Most of my friends called my house a "zoo" growing up because of the wide range of animals we had around the house, from puppies to snakes to pigs- we had it all. When caring for another animal, I treat it like it were my own. I always saw my pets as an extension of my own family and want to treat all animals the same way. About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. I genuinely love all breeds and personalities and really enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities. Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. I want every dog to feel safe, successful, and stress-free during their stay.
