Their property us beautiful, with a huge fenced back yard, surrounded by cows and horses. They provided photo updates during our stay, and our pups seemed to genuinely enjoy their vacation from home. I am a stay at home mom so I can be extremely flexible with schedule and be available for your pet most of the time and attend to the needs of your specific pet. I have been watching over 2 cats in the course of one year and I love them to death. They do end up fighting and one has problems with vomiting, but I have gotten used to the struggles that cats face. I’m good at working with situations most people don’t want to deal with. I’ve owned a lot of different dogs breeds my entire life ranging in size from a chihuahua to a golden retriever. I love routine and will follow your dog care needs exactly how they’re used to. They will receive a ton of love, cuddles and play time from me and my three animal loving kids. We have 5 acres of yard space to play and maintained walking trails in the back of our property for daily walks. I will only accept dogs that are potty trained and good with little kids. I’m happy to administer medication, give treats and give you plenty of updates on how they are doing as I know how hard it is to leave your pet with someone else. I am home a lot and have a very flexible schedule. I can give frequent bathroom breaks and follow whatever schedule your dog is used too I have a very large yard to run and play in and have well maintained grass walking trails on my property. Your dog(s) will receive a lot of love and attention.
About: I grew up with a black lab, Macey and a Chihuahua mix, Tootsie and took care of them from when I was young until around the age of 16 when they passed away. I also regularly dog sat 5 dogs at once- all with specific needs, diets and medications before the family moved away. I am comfortable with high energy dogs, I will happily administer medication, and we have 2 acres of fenced in land for your dog to run and play! I am a flight attendant so my schedule varies- usually I work 3-4 days a month and they are never the same. Request and I’ll accept if I’m not flying that day, but other than occasional work I’m pretty much always home! I would love to have a dog but because I’m a flight attendant I know I couldn’t give it the consistency and love it would need- however, on days I am home I would LOVE to have a furry friend to play with. We have a large kennel if your dog is crate trained and you would like us to use it, but as long as it’s good with kids it’s free to explore. About: I have experience with both puppies and seniors. Includes potty training obedience training, dominance training. I’ve worked at a humane society and owned rescue dogs. My approach is to find each individual dog’s motivation to help them grow, learn, and mature. I currently have 2 dogs of my own and enjoy walking and taking them on adventures. With dogs non-verbal queues are very important in understanding behavior, needs, and temperament. I pay attention give them good food exercise is a must! About: I have had such a huge passion for animals since I was young and I have rescued many strays over the years. Now, I live on a farm with 2 dogs and 2 (rescued) cats. One dog is a senior so I have experience with caring for older animals and handling with sweet care. My husky also loves playing which would be great socialization for your pets too. I don't crate my animals so just know they have the space to hang out and you'll get lots of pictures! I work from home full-time as a mental health therapist so I have plenty of time to take them potty, out for a walk, let them play in the yard, and get some energy out. I don't crate my animals but if your dog need his own space, I have a pet room they can relax in or hang out with me in my home office. About: As a dog mom for many years, I know that having a dog sitter you trust is super important. Being away from home can be nerve-wracking for the furrbaby and their parent. I have 7 wonderful years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes (some with past trauma and anxiety). You can trust that your dog will get the love, care, and attention they need! I typically wake up at around 7:30 am take your pupper out to use the fire hydrant, then provide fresh food and water during breakfast time. After working from 9am-3pm I will walk them around Downtown Mount Vernon. After water and treats, I'll usually play fetch, tug-o-war, or run around with them if they're in the mood for playtime. After more relaxation, while I run errands (house chores, etc.), I take your dog out to relieve themselves before the evening routine (playing, working from home, preparing dinner). I take them outside one more time before bed, and that completes a full day in the Rowe House. I care for your pet according to your preferences. Here at the Rowe House, we typically allow pets to nap on the couch and hang out with us while we work at home. I do have a Corgi (Monty) who loves other dogs and have a pretty careful routine with him, so I highly respect any owner that has very strict or more laid-back preferences for their pups. When bathing or clipping your dog's nails, I use positive reinforcement and desensitization techniques. These include distracting them with treats, encouraging/praising them with treats, and peanut butter. I do require the dog to have all vaccines up to date for bathing and nail clipping. Whether or not I can provide these services will also depend on your dog's comfort and anxiety level.

Growing up around dogs taught us just how much love, attention, and care they truly need and we genuinely believe pups shouldn’t be left alone for long stretches. That’s why we’re passionate about helping others give their dogs the fun, companionship, and consistent care they deserve when life gets busy. We both adore dogs (they honestly make us so happy and bring us a ton of joy), and we’d be excited to play, cuddle, and keep your pup feeling safe and loved. Over the years, friends and family have trusted us again and again to care for their dogs, whether they’re out of town or just need a helping hand. We also enjoy training, and we’re always patiently working on new tricks and good habits with our golden retriever, Daisy! We have amazing work flexibility. We can work around people's schedules. It would just be a matter of coordinating between me and the owner of the pup. In our home, your dog will have a safe, closed fenced backyard to run and play, plenty of toys, and the company of our friendly golden retriever, Daisy. We keep preventive dog meds on hand for things like allergies, and your pup will always have access to fresh water, food, and a variety of treats.

About: Had dogs in my life since I could remember! Love playing and caring for dogs of all ages and sizes! Have been dog walking/sitting for the past 5 years I am currently in college so time is limited but afternoons are mostly free. I am willing to be super flexible and can normally make time for anything! I can walk up to 3 dogs at time. About: I have experience with both puppies and seniors. Includes potty training obedience training, dominance training. I’ve worked at a humane society and owned rescue dogs. My approach is to find each individual dog’s motivation to help them grow, learn, and mature. I currently have 2 dogs of my own and enjoy walking and taking them on adventures. I do community work within my school district and would love the added opportunities to fit my love for dogs in my routine more. With dogs non-verbal queues are very important in understanding behavior, needs, and temperament. I pay attention give them good food exercise is a must! About: Taking care of animals is just something I love to do, your animals will be in good hands with me. Taken out, fed and given water anytime they need it. I would love to know some things your animals like so I can make sure they don’t feel lonely while you are gone. The last thing I want is your animal to feel lonely or abandoned while you are out. About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals my whole life. I know how to deal with their temperaments and stress. I’ve never lived without having dogs. I am always the type of person to take a dog in that I find from the street. I have dealt with strays so I don’t just have experience with well trained dogs. I have also watched over peoples dogs for a while and I started walking dogs since I was 9. My grandma had a community that she lived at and I loved dogs so much that I would walk them for free. My passion for dogs will never go away. I currently work front desk at a hotel. I work Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I am able to walk dogs those days but only before 1 pm. Thursdays and Fridays I am totally free. And depending on the location, I can also do Saturdays. I currently have 2 dogs and they get walked once a day during the night. I also feed them a little differently than usual. I include green beens into their food as well as other healthy powdered ingredient so they are getting the right nutrition. I am fine with watching dogs at the clients home or mine. The only problem with my home is that I already have 2 dogs of my own. So the dog would have to get along with other medium sized mutts. When I have taken care of pets in another persons home, I like having a specific list so I know what’s best for the dog. I’m able to abide by any rules and I don’t mind if the dog needs extra care. I am up for it.
About: I have had dogs through my life. I have been accustomed to small and large dogs, ranging from age as well. I have taken care of my friends' dogs at times, so I can do well with daily tasks. About: Our family is very active and huge dog lovers. Our kids love all kinds of animals, especially dogs. We have a very pet friendly house as we are dog owners ourselves. Our backyard is fenced in and has plenty of room for your dog to run and play, our family also loves to go on walks around the neighborhood. We are available every weekday night, and most weekends. Our current dog is an 11 year old labradoodle names Mulligan who gets along with all other dogs. We also have a very friendly cat named Jack who is 9 years old.
