“Rikki and her family were excellent!! It was our first time boarding our 10 month old pup Luna, so we were nervous (and a bit high maintenance), but she put us at ease and was very communicative. Luna stayed about two full days and nights with Rikki. We met Rikki, her small kids, and other pups (two own, two other Rovers) at drop off — everyone was wonderful. They all spent tons of time outside with Luna, which is exactly what we wanted for her. Luna and the pups played around as soon as we got there, and based on Rikki’s pics/messages, that’s most of what they did for the two days. We came by to walk Luna after the first overnight, thinking she might have some separation anxiety, but Luna was happily tail wagging from the puppy party. Overnight, Luna slept in the bed with Rikki and her sweet daughter — again exactly what we hoped for. When we picked Luna up, she was happy as ever - thrilled to see us, but also seemed a bit torn to leave her new friends behind. Such is life. Perfect, sweet family for an energetic sweet pup that is good with social situations. Will absolutely come back to Rikki if we have another boarding need while in town.”
About: I come from an animal-loving family and have either owned or looked after any personality a dog could possibly have! Big ones, small ones, needy ones, naughty ones, nervous ones, old ones, lazy ones, you name it! I pride myself on being “that person” that dogs naturally gravitate towards (it runs in the family). My family recently lost the last of our 3 dogs (our 15 year old Puggle), so I am equipped for even the old guys & gals too! Your dog will not just be cared for, they will be spoiled and loved on as my own. I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with your baby, and Ive got you! I'll do anything your dog (or YOU) requires to be more comfortable. Even if you want to FaceTime your dog while you’re away...I won’t judge :). I know boarding places can be scary and stressful for a lot of dogs, and my goal is to provide a reliable, safe, peaceful, fun, and loving environment while you are away. PLEASE READ :) Due to the fact that I have 2 small children, I cannot under any circumstances accept: -Dogs that have never been around children -Dogs that have any specific aggression (towards food, toys, other dogs, etc.) -Pit Bulls/Rottweilers. I realize this is controversial and maybe even unfair, and If I didn’t have small children this would not be an issue, but my kids come first and I have to be selective to protect them. Being that we are caring for dogs we have never met, I cannot take the risk for breeds that could possibly do extensively harmful damage to them in a worst case scenario situation. Again, I love all dogs/breeds and realize these breeds are normally the sweetest dogs, I am just mitigating any and all risk as a protective Mama. I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! I am home every day with the occasional runs to drop my son off at preschool, or attend my own appointments that come up/occasional errands. Although I am home most of the day, I cannot accept dogs that have separation anxiety, as I do have weekly errands/school drop offs/grocery pickups etc. that take me away from the home for a small amount of time. I live in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I have a partially fenced in yard, but I would not be taking any dogs out without a leash. My back yard is hidden away from the main street and is great for taking dogs out. Rest assured they will have lots of potty breaks and sniffing outside breaks. We are pretty chill here! Once the weather warms up, walks are definitely in the daily schedule if wanted/needed... or just some sunbathing outside for the dogs who love a nap in the sunshine.

About: I have helped take care of friends' and neighbors' dogs/ pets for several years. I am very responsible and dependable. My husband and I have previously fostered dogs as well. I am currently working full time but have some time on the weekends to love on pets! My (human) girls would also love to help your fur babies play until they're worn out! We have a large yard that would provide plenty of room to run around. We do not have a fence so we would not be able to safely care for a dog that would take off.

My husband and I got married in 2020 and now have a daughter of our own! We live on an 12 acre hobby farm with cows and chickens. About: I have done drop in and overnight care for family member's pets for many years. I am a life long animal lover and have cats and/or dogs my whole life. I also did some volunteer care at an animal shelter while in college. I have a fenced in yard in a beautiful country setting and two playmates for your pup. Robin is 13 year old chocolate lab mix, who we rescued from the roadside. He can be shy around new people, but loves to play with any dog he has met.

About: I've had dogs growing up, five of them being German shepherds and the other four being a lab and two mutts and a dachshund, and we've had tons of cats. We currently have two German shepherds and I walk them a ton and I spend a lot of time taking care of them, and then we have a dachshund who I just rescued from the place I work at. The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! I really loves my job, it means a lot to me I get to be in that environment and I'm depended on to keep them all safe and happy. And I am a second year student at Muskingum University, I am majoring in Animal Studies in hopes of having an animal conservation related job. I'm a college student and normally drop in between classes and have the rest of the day to tend to pet's. During the summer I am usually employed and work around my schedule At home I spend time walking the dogs mostly and hanging around the house with them. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I couldn’t imagine a life without either. Animals bring me joy just like I’m sure they do you. I’ve been a volunteer at many shelters. I’d be honored to take care of your babies and give them the love they deserve while you’re gone. I have an extra crate here if needed. We do have a cat but can easily place him in his room if needed to keep them separate. About: I have been around dogs throughout my entire life and I love dogs very much! I know how to care, feed, play, clean and love dogs the proper way! I will make sure that I treat your dog with as much love and care as you treat them and with as much love and care as I treat my own dog! I am a teacher during the day, so I will be available to walk, play, or visit your dog any day starting at 5pm. If you need me to house sit for you and your dog, I can happily do that on the weekends at any time! About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been actively involved in caring for them from a young age. I’m experienced with daily routines including feeding, walking, playtime, and basic training reinforcement. I understand different dog personalities and energy levels, and I always prioritize safety, patience, and positive care. I treat every dog as if they were my own and make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I currently only work 2 days of the week, saturday and sunday, the rest of the week i am free, i go to the gym during week days, minimum time away from home is 2/3 hours on week days. i have a fenced yard, and 2 cats that are good with dogs, and if not i always have extra room else ware around the house, i actively feed, and change little, take on walls daily.

“Rikki and her family were excellent!! It was our first time boarding our 10 month old pup Luna, so we were nervous (and a bit high maintenance), but she put us at ease and was very communicative. Luna stayed about two full days and nights with Rikki. We met Rikki, her small kids, and other pups (two own, two other Rovers) at drop off — everyone was wonderful. They all spent tons of time outside with Luna, which is exactly what we wanted for her. Luna and the pups played around as soon as we got there, and based on Rikki’s pics/messages, that’s most of what they did for the two days. We came by to walk Luna after the first overnight, thinking she might have some separation anxiety, but Luna was happily tail wagging from the puppy party. Overnight, Luna slept in the bed with Rikki and her sweet daughter — again exactly what we hoped for. When we picked Luna up, she was happy as ever - thrilled to see us, but also seemed a bit torn to leave her new friends behind. Such is life. Perfect, sweet family for an energetic sweet pup that is good with social situations. Will absolutely come back to Rikki if we have another boarding need while in town.”
About: I come from an animal-loving family and have either owned or looked after any personality a dog could possibly have! Big ones, small ones, needy ones, naughty ones, nervous ones, old ones, lazy ones, you name it! I pride myself on being “that person” that dogs naturally gravitate towards (it runs in the family). My family recently lost the last of our 3 dogs (our 15 year old Puggle), so I am equipped for even the old guys & gals too! Your dog will not just be cared for, they will be spoiled and loved on as my own. I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with your baby, and Ive got you! I'll do anything your dog (or YOU) requires to be more comfortable. Even if you want to FaceTime your dog while you’re away...I won’t judge :). I know boarding places can be scary and stressful for a lot of dogs, and my goal is to provide a reliable, safe, peaceful, fun, and loving environment while you are away. PLEASE READ :) Due to the fact that I have 2 small children, I cannot under any circumstances accept: -Dogs that have never been around children -Dogs that have any specific aggression (towards food, toys, other dogs, etc.) -Pit Bulls/Rottweilers. I realize this is controversial and maybe even unfair, and If I didn’t have small children this would not be an issue, but my kids come first and I have to be selective to protect them. Being that we are caring for dogs we have never met, I cannot take the risk for breeds that could possibly do extensively harmful damage to them in a worst case scenario situation. Again, I love all dogs/breeds and realize these breeds are normally the sweetest dogs, I am just mitigating any and all risk as a protective Mama. I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! I am home every day with the occasional runs to drop my son off at preschool, or attend my own appointments that come up/occasional errands. Although I am home most of the day, I cannot accept dogs that have separation anxiety, as I do have weekly errands/school drop offs/grocery pickups etc. that take me away from the home for a small amount of time. I live in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I have a partially fenced in yard, but I would not be taking any dogs out without a leash. My back yard is hidden away from the main street and is great for taking dogs out. Rest assured they will have lots of potty breaks and sniffing outside breaks. We are pretty chill here! Once the weather warms up, walks are definitely in the daily schedule if wanted/needed... or just some sunbathing outside for the dogs who love a nap in the sunshine.

About: I’ve had pets all my life! I’ve had my own pet sitting business I’m very passionate about pet care. Your pet will be safe here! Between me and my husband we’re almost always home. We do have classes for a few hours during the week. We have pets of our own so we already have a very well set schedule when it comes to them. We can gladly work with any schedule you may already have. I will care for your fur babies like they are my own. I love my pets like my kids they’ll be well cared for here!
