About: I’ve grown up on farms with many animals to include dogs and have raised them since I was young. Through college I volunteered on a horse farm where I cleaned and helped take care of 10 horses, also worked at a local pet store for 10 years as a floor manager and excelled in animal husbandry. In addition I worked part time as a veterinary assistant. I’m a dedicated, responsible, hardworking Momma of two wanting to share my passion for animals with others. I keep a variety of animals, book me for your reptile/small animal/aviary needs by selecting “cat” and let’s chat about what you need done while your away. I am currently home throughout the week and have a fairly open availability depending on your specific needs. Reach out and let’s chat. If I can’t help you I will let you know. I am responsible for 3 tortoises, 8 snakes, a few rats, a handful of leopard geckos, freshwater fish tanks, chameleons, dogs, a cat and let’s not forget my two babies. Keeping pets is my hobby and I’m passing this along to my young ones. Gone all day and have a new puppy that needs more attention. I’ve been there and can offer walks with BASIC obedience. About: I live with a poodle and am experienced in daily pet care, including walking, feeding, and companionship. I have also cared for dogs, cats, and birds, and take pride in providing reliable, loving care. I am currently flexible at the moment. “Melissa was very accommodating and helpful. She accepted and helped carry in his crate which is the safest place for him if they leave the house. She said that would only be for a short time and maybe not at all. She sent several pics of our dog playing outside , interacting inside or making himself at home on a bed. He was safe and returned home tired from all of his play/running around. I was very grateful for Melissa’s care.”
