“Melissa is so great with our dog!! Our dog loves to go each and every time! We have used her three times and have had great experiences each time! She is always so accommodating with our schedule.”

“I appreciate Doug’s willingness to do everything possible to make the separation experience easier for Dexter. He was very attentive and kept me informed about his stay. I would highly recommend him for your next trip.”

“Cassie kept me informed about how Rocky was doing at least once a day while we were away. She sent me pictures that showed he was truly enjoying his time with her & her family. My heart was full knowing he was safe and loved while we traveled. Our boy can be very needy, so for him to actually be loved on & not just thrown in a cage for the majority of the time, means a lot to us. He got to play all weekend with her dogs as well, which I know he really enjoyed. We appreciate everything Cassie did for Rocky and we look forward to using her again for any future travel needs! 🥰”

“We were very happy with our two standard poodles' stay with Gail. They loved her backyard and they made themselves at home with Gail so we felt good about leaving them with her for the 5 days we were away.”

“Suzanne watched my Lab for the weekend. She was great with sending pics and communicating with me! She took very good care of my Lola! I would definitely use her again!”

About: I’ve had pets all my life! I’ve had my own pet sitting business I’m very passionate about pet care. Your pet will be safe here! Between me and my husband we’re almost always home. We do have classes for a few hours during the week. We have pets of our own so we already have a very well set schedule when it comes to them. We can gladly work with any schedule you may already have. I will care for your fur babies like they are my own. I love my pets like my kids they’ll be well cared for here!
About: Hi, I’m Aaliyah! You can look me up on Google Aaliyah’s Dobies and check out my reviews😉 Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up raising and showing rabbits and chickens through 4-H and have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, fish, small mammals, and farm animals. You name it, I either have it or love it. I am a dog breeder and have hands-on experience caring for newborn puppies, senior pets, and animals with special needs. I’ve also interned at veterinary offices, volunteered at animal shelters, and helped rescue, foster, and socialize kittens for adoption. In addition to caring for healthy pets, I have extensive experience with orphaned, injured, and medically fragile animals. My background includes caring for bottle babies, syringe feeding, tube feeding, administering subcutaneous fluids, deworming, parasite treatment, basic wound care, and supporting animals through illness and recovery. I have also worked with feral kittens, helping them learn to trust people and transition into loving homes. I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I will tailor their care to their individual needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to provide a stress-free experience while you’re away. I understand that every pet is unique, and I am committed to providing compassionate, reliable care that gives owners peace of mind. BOARDING REQUIREMENTS Before booking, I ask that all dogs be up-to-date on their vaccines and current on flea and tick prevention. Please make sure your dog’s Rover profile is fully completed so I can provide the best care possible. For everyone’s safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly and do well around other dogs. If your dog is selective, reactive, or has shown aggression toward other animals, my home may not be the best fit. For your dog’s stay, please bring their food, vaccination records, and any medications they may need along with clear instructions. If your dog requires a crate for sleeping or when left alone, please bring one, as I do not currently provide crates. You’re welcome to bring a favorite bed or blanket to help your dog feel more at home, although I have plenty of beds and blankets available. You do not need to bring bowls unless your dog uses a slow feeder or a special bowl. I recommend leaving favorite toys or valuable items at home. Dogs love to play, and toys can sometimes get worn out or misplaced. Don’t worry though—I have plenty of toys and enrichment activities to keep everyone entertained! My goal is to make your dog’s stay as safe, comfortable, and fun as possible while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. I work from home, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling, frequent potty breaks, regular supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I am home most of the time, pets receive companionship, exercise, and care tailored to their individual needs and routines. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they were my own and take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special needs. I provide a calm, loving environment with plenty of supervision, enrichment, exercise, and affection while maintaining the safety standards and instructions provided by each owner. If your pet has temperamental issues I’m happy to crate and rotate so they have individual time and I also have a building for boarding.
“Super nice/living family. After initially meeting them, I was very comfortable leaving my Murphy with them. They have two lovely Beagles and children who obviously love the dogs as well & a perfect indoor & outdoor setting for playing and roaming. They sent me photos and a video which made my day. Nathan even slept downstairs on the couch when my pup seemed worried without having anyone around as it was his first night away from home in several months since a horrific extended stay experience with a facility. I will definitely use them again whenever I need to be away from home!”

“Thank you Deanna and Maui for letting Remy hang out with you guys!! It’s so nice to not have to worry about how Remy is doing when we’re out of town! Deanna takes such good care of Remy and he has a blast playing with her dog too!”

“This was my first experience and it went great. Tucker puppers seemed to have a great time and he was wore out when I picked him up. Thanks Tiffany and family for being such a great sitter. Would recommend anytime.”

“We love Alicia! So fortunate to have found her, and so is my Dog! She has excellent communication and checks in with you during the stay. Although it’s our dog, it’s still nice to have the updates. Thank you for being so good to him and us!”

“Kelsey was very accommodating with travel issues that resulted in booking an extra night. She shared welcomed daily updates with photos of Oliver’s stay. I will gladly book with Kelsey again.”

“Highly recommend! Took great care of my pup and was very good with communication! Flexible and you can tell she loves all animals as much as her own! ? my buddy had a great time there”
“Sherri was great!! Lots of communication and pictures while we were away, and from the looks of the pictures they had a great time. We will definitely book her again.”

Cat caregivers near you - Mapleton

About: There has never been a time in my life without a cat in the house. I grew up in a rural area where people would dump kittens so we always had cats we took in, and once had to bottle feed a little of 7. We still have one of the cats from that litter she is turning 11! I have been cat sitting for family for years and often went to my neighbors house to clean the litter boxes and clean around the house. I currently have my own cat in my dorm I love him so much. We've had to give him eardrops, eye drops, and oral medicine so I am experienced with that.
“Cassie did an absolutely outstanding job with our two bunny boys. We were away for an overseas trip, but her attention to detail and care kept us worry-free! She sent us daily videos and photos where we could tell that our boys were being pampered and loved on. We can’t thank her enough and will definitely be using her again!”

About: I have had kitties most of my life. I love kitties! Right now I have 2 cats of my own and I foster others. It took 3.5 years of trying before I could even pet one of my foster kitties. Last summer I took in a feral mom cat and 3 of her kittens. I worked and worked with the kittens to be able to touch them. One loves to be petted and the other 2 kittens will only let me pet them while they are eating a churu treat, lol. I bought a generation 7 wheel for the kittens. The one male kitten gets the wheel going so fast! He loves it! They're all so fun and spunky :)

About: I’ve cared for a variety of dogs and cats over the last 10 years. I have also always had dogs of my own; currently have 3 beautiful girls. I love all pets, small to big and young to old. Athletic enough for young ones’ energy and gentle enough for seniors’ care. I have a background in pet health care and have also worked at a kennel in the past. Taking care of your animals wouldn’t even be a service to me; my love for them makes it easy. I work full time, but depending on location would be able to do walks or drop-in visits on my lunch breaks. As well as before or after work, if needed. I am available for house sitting pretty much any day of the week with at least 1-day notice. I have adequate knowledge on when a dog may be feeling stressed or threatened and know how to handle the situation accordingly. I can crate your dogs, if required. I do my absolute best to avoid distractions while on walks.
About: I love all animals, right now I only take care of my own two guinea pigs but I wish I had a dog or cat to take care of! About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve self-trained my own dogs and I’m comfortable reinforcing basic obedience commands like sit, stay, leave it, and leash manners (especially helpful for puppies and energetic dogs). I also have experience caring for a dog with seizures who requires medication, so I’m confident with administering meds and supporting pets with special routines or extra care needs. In addition to my own pets, I’ve regularly helped neighbors and friends with pet sitting and daily care. I’m attentive, calm, and safety-focused, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I also groom and bathe my own dogs, and while full grooming isn’t typically part of my services, I’m absolutely willing to help if an urgent situation arises. I’m self-employed and work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate a wide range of needs. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks and check-ins, including hourly relief when needed, and I can do multiple drop-ins throughout the day. Because I’m home often, I’m also able to give pets consistent attention, supervision, and routine support. Care looks a little different depending on whether I’m in your home or mine, but my top priorities are always safety, routine, and clear communication. I expect to communicate frequently during your pet's visit with me. In my home: For daycare or boarding, I require that dogs are crate trained, since dogs will be crated overnight and anytime I’m not home. I also require up-to-date vaccine records to keep everyone safe. I have two dogs of my own, so I carefully monitor introductions and compatibility. We do have a yard, but it is not fenced, so all outdoor time is supervised and on-leash. In your home: During our meet & greet, we’ll go over your pet’s routine in detail (feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication, etc.). I ask that any important care instructions are also listed in your pet’s Rover profile in writing, so everything is clear and consistent. I’m happy to follow your household routines as close as possible during the visit.
About: Over the past 20 years, I’ve cared for three of my own dogs from puppyhood through their senior years, giving me firsthand experience with every stage of life—from potty training and high energy phases to gentle senior care. I’ve also raised kittens into senior cats, so I’m comfortable with feline personalities and needs as well. Beyond my own pets, I’ve regularly helped care for the dogs and cats of family and friends. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust looking after your pet, and I treat every animal in my care with the same patience, love, and attention I gave my own. As a stay-at-home mom, pet care fits very naturally into my daily schedule. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, maintain their routines, and provide a calm, present environment while you’re away. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own space. I take a patient, gentle approach and pay close attention to each animal’s unique temperament—whether that means playtime and energy for a young pup or a quiet, reassuring presence for a shy cat. In addition to everyday care, I’m experienced in administering medications, including oral meds and insulin injections for diabetic cats. I understand how important consistency, attentiveness, and trust are when caring for pets with medical needs, and I’m confident providing that level of care. I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends over the years, helping with walks, feedings, routines, and lots of affection. Every pet I care for is treated with the same love and attention I gave my own. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind and your pet a calm, loving experience while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities, whether I’m caring for them in your home or welcoming them into mine. In my home, pets are treated like family. I have a friendly, well-socialized dog and cats who are accustomed to other animals, creating a calm and welcoming environment. I’m mindful of introductions and each pet’s personality to ensure everyone feels safe and at ease. Dogs are always leashed for daily walks, and I have a large yard that allows for extra exercise and playtime in a secure space. As a stay-at-home mom, I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to closely supervise pets, maintain their routines, and give them consistent attention and companionship. When caring for pets in your home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to keeping your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and any special preferences you share. I also offer meet-and-greets before bookings so you and your pet can feel comfortable and confident. Building trust with both pets and their owners is very important to me, and I want you to feel completely at ease knowing your pet is in loving, attentive hands.

About: Hi! I’m Corey — a pet-loving guy who truly understands how deeply animals become family. I’ve spent the last 15 years caring for dogs, including two beloved seniors who recently passed in 2021 and 2025. Betty, an English Bulldog who was “thicker than a bowl of oatmeal,” and Sadie, my blue-tick coonhound/beagle mix who was a true treat connoisseur with a heart of gold. Losing them has been incredibly hard… but also a powerful reminder of just how special the bond with a pet really is. Caring for other people’s pets has become a form of healing and therapy for me. I miss the snoring, the wagging tails, the playtime, and the pure happiness a dog brings into a home. Being around animals fills me with joy, and I pour that love right back into the pups I watch. I have hands-on experience with: • Senior dog care (medications, patience, mobility support, and gentle comfort) • High-energy dogs who need walks and structured play • Bulldogs, hounds, and every personality in between • Smaller breeds like Chihuahuas and Dachshunds Your dog isn’t just a “dog” to me — they’re family, someone’s whole heart. And while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same gentleness, humor, consistency, and affection that I gave to Betty and Sadie. I work from home and can provide exceptional care! Your dog is my main concern during the day and evening and will be spoiled and loved! I will treat your pet as my own and follow all instructions provided to me about your dog(s) routine and schedule. I truly care and want to make your experience easy and stress free.

I have flexible rates if you need them watched for an extended amount of time. I have a son who has been raised with dogs since birth so he will treat them well and is not afraid of dogs at all. I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. I look forward to helping care for your fur baby. I am available mornings, evenings, and weekends. I also have flexibility to leave work for an extended lunch. I have the flexibility needed to care for your pets. I have friendly pets who are used to other animals. I am happy to accommodate your pets schedule and make this as smooth as possible.
About: We have experienced owning a 10 year old bullmastiff, two huskies, and a dog that we rescued from the river while we were kayaking. We consider every dog our child. I work from home for the last 6 years so the dogs have all day to play inside or outside. There is always someone at home with the dogs at all time. I have a fenced in yard and 3 very friendly dogs to keep your dog(s) company. I can also crate your dog(s) if needed. There is also a very nice dog path near my house if you want me to walk them.
About: Your pet is treated as my own and a family member. Your fur baby is not crated unless you request that and provide the crate. Your pet gets to go outside and run and play several times a day. I go out and encourage playing and running for exercise. When the weather permits, we walk through the field and explore along the canal. If your pet is older and doesn't want to play or explore, that's ok. I have plenty of shaded areas for them to just lounge and take a snooze while I sit with them and read. I would love to share your fur babies with you. Must provide proof of all shot records (including Kennel Cough vaccine). I insist on a meet and greet to make sure that your fur baby is going to be a good match with our family. I do not board pit bulls (or pit mixes), German Shepherds, Rottweilers it any aggressive dogs for my safety as well as my pup. I am retired. I never leave your pups alone. If I need to run to the store, my husband is here with the pups. When the pups are outside, I'm outside work them. I have a large fenced in back yard and a standard poodle that would love to play with your pup/pups and keep them company. She loves having new playmates.
“Excellent service. Zach and his daughter were great with my dog Rex! Great setup with a tall fence and Rex loved playing with their dogs. This was a same day booking and they were able to accommodate us last minute and also the following day. I had only left my dog one day at a kennel his whole life so was nervous and within minutes knew I had made the correct choice with Zach and his home!”

About: Welcome to my profile! I’m looking to build a client base in the area after moving. I love animals and getting to meet and enjoy different pets. I’ve had clients from bearded dragons to multiple horses. I want all the clients I have to feel secure and confident leaving their pets in my care. I currently have a reactive dog and I understand the struggle of finding a sitter/walker/taking them into public. I work 4 fixed days a week part time. I work locally and I rarely travel out of town so I’ll be available as often as needed! In my home my pets are my world. I currently live in a home with 3 dogs and 4 cats. I am absolutely obsessed with my babies and every animal I see. Safety and making animals comfortable is the most important.
About: I have experience caring for my neighbors' and friends' dogs. If your shift is longer than expected, I will stop by and feed or let your furry family member outside. In my spare time, I volunteer at the Humane Society to help exercise and socialize those dogs that are looking for their forever home. I can administer medication and give injection medication. I will exercise and walk your dog, play laser light with your cat, or do whatever else is requested. About: I've had dogs growing up, five of them being German shepherds and the other four being a lab and two mutts and a dachshund, and we've had tons of cats. We currently have two German shepherds and I walk them a ton and I spend a lot of time taking care of them, and then we have a dachshund who I just rescued from the place I work at. The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! I really loves my job, it means a lot to me I get to be in that environment and I'm depended on to keep them all safe and happy. And I am a second year student at Muskingum University, I am majoring in Animal Studies in hopes of having an animal conservation related job. I'm a college student and normally drop in between classes and have the rest of the day to tend to pet's. During the summer I am usually employed and work around my schedule At home I spend time walking the dogs mostly and hanging around the house with them. Every client I feel is different in how things are done at their home, so however you take care of your pets I'll follow

About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats for family, neighbors, and friends for the last 6-7 years. I have more experience with dogs— ranging from all sizes and ages, however I love cats and never say no to a feline friend as well! Expected care for the animals from me has included daily walks, feeding per directed schedule, hanging out with them, medication administration as needed, and cleaning up after them after an occasional “oopsie”. Most of my experience has been staying in client houses, so I am comfortable with that, however I am also more than confident with driving back and forth for potty breaks throughout the day. I just completed grad school and picked up a part time job with chipotle a couple days a week. My schedule for pet care is more client-based than anything and I will always work my schedule around taking care of the animals needs first. On days I am working at chipotle, my shifts will be no more than 8 hours long. I prefer keeping the clients pets in their homes for their safety and comfort. I will always put them on leashes unless they are fenced in and I will go outside with them initially to keep an eye on them and to feel out the surroundings myself.
About: I love all animals, right now I only take care of my own two guinea pigs but I wish I had a dog or cat to take care of! I used to babysit two cats and one of them had diabetes so I know how to do that if your pets need at home shots! I am always off work Wednesdays but there are a few days I work every other week and can take care of of your pets mostly in the morning on those days but Wednesdays is all day if needed! I will play with them, I will make sure they get the right amount of exercise, I will make sure they are fed when needed and give them extra cuddles too!
About: I’ve been around animals since the day I was born. Currently I’m in college for veterinary technician, and working as a veterinary assistant. Animals are my passion and I love to work with them everyday. If you want a bath, or nail trims done I can also do this as well. Currently I am working full time but I have free evenings and my weekends are free along with a few designated weekdays. I can board pups overnight on certain days, or walk your pets in the evening if you’re out late. I have a husky mix and 2 Shepherds who can keep your pups company while they stay with me, along with daily walks that we take them on. We enjoy hiking as well, therefore with permission can take your pup out!

“Melissa is so great with our dog!! Our dog loves to go each and every time! We have used her three times and have had great experiences each time! She is always so accommodating with our schedule.”

? my buddy had a great time there”
“Fern will definitely be going back to Vicki’s again. I never had any doubt about my dog being cared for and loved while staying with Vicki and her family. I would 100% recommend her for dog sitting.”

“We had our 2 puppies stay with Zachary and it was absolutely wonderful! They were playing and looked so happy the moment they got into his backyard. Will absolutely book with him again and highly recommend his services!”

“Tricia was excellent with our 2 year old Weimaraner Tucker. He has never never been boarded or stayed away from home and tends to be timid or anxious. She sent pictures to let me know he was doing well throughout his entire stay. I will definitely utilize Tricia again, she made me feel very comfortable that our guy was in great hands while we were away.”

“George was the best. He took care of my toy poodle with such care. Tallow, my toy poodle, had never been with anyone else. He grew accustomed to George very quickly.. George showed a lot of care for him. I highly recommend him.”
