About: I used to beg my parents to let me have a dog. They always told me I need to prove I could take care of one so I would always offer to walk and take care of my neighbors and friends pets. It all paid off and I finally got my first dog at 13! I now have a Carolina Dog who is super energetic and requires a lot of activity and patience. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats since I was a child. I have helped my girlfriend train our current dog which is a bernedoodle. He knows how to sit, shake, go to his pillow, and he is currently learning to roll over. I currently have a Doberman at my parents house that I help take care of while I am home. I am currently a dental student at Ohio state and I am in school from 7:30-4:00 daily but the weekends I am free. Some days I will finish before 4:00 but that depends on the week. About: My property has 1-acre of fenced space where your pup can run around until their heart’s content. If you have a senior pup, a young puppy, or a dog with complex medical needs, you have found the right home. Having loved and cared for my own Akitas through major health challenges—including blindness—I am completely comfortable managing complex medication schedules, topical treatments, oral meds, and injections. As an experienced dog and puppy foster (who even once fostered a litter of nine puppies!), I understand canine body language and know how to support anxious or transitioning pets. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 12. At 12 years old I volunteered at Petland and worked with taking care of the puppies there. Then when I was 13 I was working with horse at a farm. When I turned 16 and could get a job I started working at a pet store and learning pet nutrition.
