And it was Susan who absolutely saved the day for us. We had a plan that didn’t work out and suddenly needed someone we trusted in a town where we knew not a soul to care for our 3 small pups. Our smallest being a 3 pound tea cup yorkie who suffers separation anxiety when she and my mom (her human) are apart. Susan took time to meet the family and the pups. About: Ever since I was a child, my family has shared a deep love for dogs. I cared for my energetic Cocker Spaniel until I was 19 years old. In his later years, he developed heart disease and required daily medication, extra attention, and lots of patience. Every dog is an individual, and I enjoy getting to know their unique personality and routine. I actively train (and occasionally compete) in agility, herding, trick training, scent and others with my dogs as well as helping introduce others to CPE Agility as an instructor at Clermont County Dog Training Club. This experience has given me a strong understanding of canine body language, safe introductions, and enrichment. I provide a calm, home based boarding experience with plenty of individual attention. I'm comfortable administering most medications, happy to follow your dog's routine, and require a meet-and-greet before every first stay. To ensure personalized care, I accept a maximum of two guest dogs (40 lbs or less) at a time. I work from home, so your dog will have company and supervision throughout the day. Guest dogs are rarely left alone for more than a couple of hours, and if I do need to step out, all dogs are safely crated for everyone's security. Outside breaks are offered every 2–3 hours (or more often if needed), with plenty of opportunities for sniffing, play, and relaxation. Most days include two walks, enrichment activities, and, when weather permits, a longer hike or adventure around the adjoining 150-acre property using secure long lines. Dogs who enjoy the water may also have the opportunity to splash in the pond or explore the creek with owner approval. Every new guest is required to complete a meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure everyone is a good fit. Because my own dogs share the home, I look for guests who are dog-friendly or dog-tolerant. New dogs are introduced gradually, and crate-free time with my dogs only happens after I've assessed everyone's comfort and temperament. Dogs are continuously supervised while together, and I carefully manage interactions to keep the environment calm and positive. My home features approximately half an acre of securely fenced outdoor space, along with access to 150 acres for on-leash adventures. Guest dogs are never off leash outside the fenced yard; long lines are always used when exploring. About: I spent my entire life around animals. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd, who lived to be 18. Not long after that, my family adopted a puppy, and later two cats. I always treat a client’s pet just as I would my own and they will receive endless love & attention while in my care. I do work part time during the week and have two young boys at home- while we are a very active family, I can usually carve out time even on work days for drop in visits or walks.

About: I am a very passionate, attentive, and empathetic person when it comes to any and all animals! For many years I have taken sole care of both dogs and cats of all different breeds, and am well experienced in all general pet care to include special needs pets. All of the dogs I ever had as a kid were trained as puppies almost solely by myself and my brothers. My mom used to make me read books and do online research about the breed of dog we had, different training techniques, K9 first-aid, and so much more. Being as passionate as I am about animals, those studies were well retained, and while I don't have professional experience, the knowledge gained from doing it on my own with 9 different dogs over my lifetime have graced me with at the very least, an in depth knowledge of all different stages of dog ownership. This knowledge was also accentuated professionally as I worked alongside military police K9 handlers during my time in the Air Force. Not to worry though, I mix structure, routine, and discipline with plenty of tender loving care, and know how to tune my approach to dogs of all temperaments. In regards to puppies: I have experience potty training, leash training, crate training, and what I would call experienced but moderate obedience training skills. I know how to deal with things like food aggression, how to properly establish the "hierarchy" or "pack mentality" and other conditioning behaviors. As well as handling young puppies, I've even assisted a momma in giving birth to a new litter, and taking special care of a brand new litter of 7 pups! So my experience with all dogs truly does begin at birth and goes all the way to end of life care. For the old timers: The couch potatoes in our lives need just as much, and sometimes even more care than their energetic and young counterparts. I have experience with things like giving medication and shots, managing specialty diets, and a number of other age specific needs. I'm very patient and am willing to take the time to get to know your pet and what they need. Every animal has a different personality and needs attention in different ways, and I'm very attentive to that! I will always treat your pet as if they were my own, and will to the best of my ability make sure that your pet is well taken care of at all times. I'm a full-time nomad and side gigs are my primary source of income. Pet care IS my weekly routine. I'm available and more than happy to abide by the normal 9-5 schedule for daytime pet care, but I can also easily adjust to fit any alternate schedule; whether you need overnight pet care, or any other odd schedule constraints met, I am available. I have lived with my own dog in a variety of different conditions. From being on our own in both houses and apartments, to having a full house of dogs and cats. I am well versed in any additional responsibilities and special care based on living situations, and have no trouble go up and down a few flights of stairs for potty breaks/walks, etc.
About: I have two adorable caviler king charles spaniels prince who just turn 5 and Gypsy who is almost 2 ! We have one funny guy otis the pug who is about to be 4! We have a large about a 1acre of yard for the dogs to be out as much as they like and to be free off the leash ! I love when dogs cuddle and want to be loved and will love them all as much as my own. I am the person who wants to pet every dog! I will even let them sleep in the bed if they are allowed. My pups can be excited the first 5 minutes but after they meet your pup they calm down! They are just excited to have a new friend stay ! He also will play with the pups and like to run and they chase him and play I have safe places they can stay with me in my home and a safe park. All dogs are welcome in my car. About: I have taken care of my own dogs and others dog's for over 10 years now. My family and I have 3 dogs currently and have owned 6 dogs throughout my life of varying sizes. I have dog sat and walked dogs for many of my friends and family over the years with the dogs being in size ranges as big as Great Danes down to little Griffons. In addition I have bathed and brushed dogs for years as well. I of course am also very affectionate towards any dogs, making sure to give them lots of pets and scratches. I will be available between 10 AM-6 PM every weekday unless specified otherwise, though days and hours are mutable and can be subject to change in the future. If I decide to change my hours/days all clients will be notified of the change with ample time to figure something out between us if need be. I will show your dog affection and make sure they have enough food and water as needed. I can also differ my services based off what my client needs. For example during a drop in I can wear out your overly excited puppy, I can clean your litterbox, or I can just lay down and chill with your older dog who just needs some pets and attention. I am easygoing and can work with any client.

About: My name is Emily. I work full time in public service and I am a dog mom to a Golden Doodle named Rudy. I have 4+ years of working in animal care from working in shelters, as a veterinary assistant, and have cared for my neighbor's pets when needed. I am able to administer medications and care for any pets that have special needs due to having experienced working in both small and large animal clinics. I will treat your fur baby like my own! I currently have availability on week days in the evening and weekends all day. In the summer from end of June to mid - July I will have all day availability as well. My dog Rudy is very friendly and can accompany on visits if permitted or requested. I have a park close to my house and can commute to any area for a needed walk.
