My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and before having our daughter, we fostered dogs, which gave us experience with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and needs. We currently have a friendly 2-year-old lab mix, so we’re very familiar with maintaining routines, exercise needs, and positive reinforcement. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home Monday–Friday. Your dog will have consistent companionship throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. During the day, dogs are free to relax, play, and interact with our friendly 2-year-old lab mix. We also incorporate daily walks and outdoor playtime (weather permitting), along with plenty of attention, affection, and structured routine. Because I’m home, I’m able to closely monitor each dog’s needs and adjust care to ensure they feel comfortable, engaged, and right at home. Then when my husband and daughter are not in work or school they will help care for your dogs and play with them. About: We have watched many pets over the years and are finally bringing our love to the masses. :) We truly love all animals (every where we have lived animals indoor/outdoor just flock to us it seems ha). We give them the care they deserve and treat every last one as if it were our own personal pet. We have also had several pets through the years that needed medical attention daily (generally giving medication) and understand the importance of maintaining medicine/medical care in a very timely manner. About: I am a huge animal lover! I currently have an 12 year old Goldendoodle named Stella. I have had dogs my whole life and can’t imagine ever being without one! I love taking Stella to dog parks, going for walks, or hanging out around town. I would love to do the same with any dog that I would be watching! About: I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember. I think my first gig I was maybe 13??? (I'll be 40 this year.) I just remember walking into my neighbors house after I fumbled with the key and the cats being happy to see me. I have experience with senior cats and kittens alike, and also dog care from puppy to senior. I can administer oral medication in pill pouches but I don't like the forceful method. I can also help with topical medications as needed. I do have formal training in any of these areas just many years of helping take care of my own and others. About: I am a very passionate, attentive, and empathetic person when it comes to any and all animals! For many years I have taken sole care of both dogs and cats of all different breeds, and am well experienced in all general pet care to include special needs pets. All of the dogs I ever had as a kid were trained as puppies almost solely by myself and my brothers. My mom used to make me read books and do online research about the breed of dog we had, different training techniques, K9 first-aid, and so much more. This knowledge was also accentuated professionally as I worked alongside military police K9 handlers during my time in the Air Force. Not to worry though, I mix structure, routine, and discipline with plenty of tender loving care, and know how to tune my approach to dogs of all temperaments. In regards to puppies: I have experience potty training, leash training, crate training, and what I would call experienced but moderate obedience training skills. I know how to deal with things like food aggression, how to properly establish the "hierarchy" or "pack mentality" and other conditioning behaviors. As well as handling young puppies, I've even assisted a momma in giving birth to a new litter, and taking special care of a brand new litter of 7 pups! So my experience with all dogs truly does begin at birth and goes all the way to end of life care. For the old timers: The couch potatoes in our lives need just as much, and sometimes even more care than their energetic and young counterparts. I have experience with things like giving medication and shots, managing specialty diets, and a number of other age specific needs. I'm very patient and am willing to take the time to get to know your pet and what they need. Every animal has a different personality and needs attention in different ways, and I'm very attentive to that! I will always treat your pet as if they were my own, and will to the best of my ability make sure that your pet is well taken care of at all times. I'm a full-time nomad and side gigs are my primary source of income. Pet care IS my weekly routine. I'm available and more than happy to abide by the normal 9-5 schedule for daytime pet care, but I can also easily adjust to fit any alternate schedule; whether you need overnight pet care, or any other odd schedule constraints met, I am available. I have lived with my own dog in a variety of different conditions. From being on our own in both houses and apartments, to having a full house of dogs and cats. I am well versed in any additional responsibilities and special care based on living situations, and have no trouble go up and down a few flights of stairs for potty breaks/walks, etc.

About: My name is Emily. I work full time in public service and I am a dog mom to a Golden Doodle named Rudy. I have 4+ years of working in animal care from working in shelters, as a veterinary assistant, and have cared for my neighbor's pets when needed. I am able to administer medications and care for any pets that have special needs due to having experienced working in both small and large animal clinics. I will treat your fur baby like my own! I currently have availability on week days in the evening and weekends all day. In the summer from end of June to mid - July I will have all day availability as well. My dog Rudy is very friendly and can accompany on visits if permitted or requested. I have a park close to my house and can commute to any area for a needed walk.
