“I booked day care for my daughter's dog Gunner for the entire day on 4/4. I met with Kathryn and Teddy a few days before leaving him at her house and felt good about the upcoming visit afterwards. Kathryn sent me multiple photos during the day which I truly appreciated. It was great to be able to leave him somewhere I felt would allow him to be less anxious as Kathryn let me bring his pet bed and pillow which he uses regularly at home. He also has multiple small feedings through the day which she gave him. The fenced in yard she has is huge! About: Animals have been my passion ever since I was little, I always knew I wanted to work with animals when I grew up and ive owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, and turtles. I spent lots of time as a kid taking care of my own pets as well as family and friends. When I was 14 I began volunteering at non-profit animal shelters and when I was old enough I got a job working as a kennel attendant at an animal hospital where I oversaw dogs, cats, and birds and handled their food and medications. I also lived in Utah for a year where I worked for an independently owned pet care company that offered services for cats, dogs, birds, and more! About: I can administer oral or pill medications if needed. I can provide your pet with stimulating exercise because I’m an athlete myself! I can also provide senior care to your pet. I am in charge of the pets my family has at home which includes feeding, walking, and bathing them. I currently work at a medical office in downtown Columbus during the week, Monday through Friday. I usually work from 7:30am-5pm. I am available anytime I get off of work to do drop-ins or walks. I usually don't take drop-ins for the morning due to the time that I have to be at work. For my own cat, I clean her litter box at least once day and she eats Smalls' pet food twice daily. On days when I am taking care of other's pets, my partner takes care of her in my stead. About: I've been around various dog breed since as a child. From as small as a chihuahua and dachshund to the size of german shepards and Rottweiler. My biggest thing with animals im general is just understanding their personalities and setting them up for success. Always easier than done but thats the challenge and its always rewarding for you and the animal with building long term friendship and goals! I think the challenging experience I've had with a close friend of mine who i see once a year dog sitting his 2 Belgium malnois, senior german shepherd and Rottweiler shepard mix. It was difficult as i had not met the 2 Belgium malnois in person but after being acquainted and exercising them it was a match made in heaven! My close friend hardly let anyone watch his dogs except his wife due to how the dogs are very particular with who they interact with. Other than that I'm excited to meet some fur babies could turn to potential friends with my baby boy! At this current time I work remotely for my full time job 8 to 5. I am very flexible on the weekends. During the day incase I am close enough to let your animal out to use the restroom and let them stretch their legs. I understand how important it is especially being away from home atleast 7hrs is hard for a dog. When it comes to safety I always make sure the dogs does not have access to areas that can cause them harm or they can get into. I've met some sneaky dogs over the years where you have to make sure the trash in a locked closet etc. Always thinking how to keep the dog safe as I would hope someone would do the same for my boy! In regard to trust just have to be patient with the fur baby and take things slow. As humans we dont trust strangers so your pet for sure wouldnt right away. Before agreeing to any service I would always would love to meet the animal atleast twice before fully going through the process to make sure everyone feels safe and secure.
About: I have a soft spot for fur babies!! I have always had dogs of all sizes and breeds so I know the care and attention that they need!! I am patient and love to keep the dog active if needed. High energy dogs are no issue!! I am willing to do walks, play/food time and some overnight stays. I am available on the weekends for walks and drop in visits. I have extensive experience with animals and have worked at a dog boarding kennel in the past in addition to growing up with pets. I have worked with aggressive dogs and am comfortable reading a dog’s cues to prevent escalation. I currently have a Bernese mountain dog who is always down for a play date and a cat who tolerates her antics haha. Bonus- I’m an ER nurse, far from a vet tech, but good for med admin if needed! With that, I do work 3 shifts a week(12 hours) that vary. So while my schedule can be sporadic, it can also be very open! I work full time 3 days a week and use rover sitters myself for those days. My schedule varies, but I am great for last minute needs as long as I’m not working! I try to stick to your pet’s routine and rules! I am also very good at recognizing body language/behaviors and therefore can prevent “incidents” from occurring like aggression on walks. I’m also happy to bring along my Berner for a play date if you’d like!

I will still enjoy doing all other services to provide for your pup :) This position put me through a lot of training about dog behavior! I recently rescued my very own bully mix from the shelter. I am very comfortable with any and all pups! I am currently working two part time jobs so my schedules often changes! If you want to ask, please reach out and I will provide you my schedule for the whole week! My pup is like my child. I treat her with gentleness, just like I would your pup. I always have treats on hand (please let me know if your pup has any allergies!) I always go by the policy that the pup’s comfort and experience comes first!!

My experience includes administering oral, topical, and injectable medications. I currently work Monday to Friday from approximately 11am to 7 pm Since I work close to home, I can check on your pets during my breaks. I'm also available to care for your pets in the evenings and on weekends. I give animals the affection and attention I want for my own pets, ensuring they are loved and active. I am happy to meet you and your pet before the booking begins and will send updates and pictures while you're away. At my place, your pets will have full access to the living room. I have two cats that can be kept in separate if needed. Also, have a fenced-in backyard! House-sitting, I can send updates with pictures of food, water, and the litter box status. I can also water plants, take out the trash, collect the mail, feed the fish, and handle any other chores you may need while you’re away.
About: I love dogs! I’ve always loved them. When i got my first dog at 8 I was terrified. I would scream and jump on the toilet. She wasn’t even the size of my backpack lol. As the years went on I grew not only a pet but a sister! She was there for me even when i didn’t think i needed her. I want to give your pet the same love I gave to her! Right now i have a mini golden doodle. She is a very special dog lol. She gets on my nerves but i wouldn’t trade her for anything. She’s always doing different things to keep me on my toes. I would make sure that your dog is properly cared for. Whether that is playing fetch with them or taking them for a walk. I live in an apartment that has a huge field. They will get the proper exercise for sure. I love to run with them.
About: I’ve dog-sat (and house-sat) for friends for a while, and nothing brings me more joy than seeing happy dogs! I love taking them for long walks or runs, spending the day playing with them, and of course giving them plenty of hugs and pets! ❤️🐶 I’m currently working full-time, so during the week I’m available to go on short walks during lunch and make sure your dog is fed and can use the bathroom. I can spend time with them in the evenings as well, and I’m also available for house sitting to keep them company while you’re away! I don’t have any pets of my own at home, but I’ve had plenty of experience caring for pets of friends and family members. “Mary was amazing. My dog Thyon is a sweet but skittish boy. Since making a big move from the country to the city, he has suffered from anxiety which he needed to be medicated for. I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. Not only was he able to quickly adapt and feel comfortable, but he seemed to thrived there. He was running in the yard with her dog Elle. Which he has not done since we moved months ago.
