I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. About: I have had puppies and dogs in my life for the last 32 years. My life would not be complete without them. Currently I have a treeing walker coon hound who is full of energy. My lab just recently passed away. She was almost 13 years old. Being able to help people out by making sure their dogs or cats are loved and exercised would be so rewarding for me. About: We’ve grown up with dogs in our homes and have owned dogs for nearly 10 years now. We provide for all of their care, and have experienced that care from puppyhood through late adulthood. We have experience housebreaking, crate training, behavioral training, and trick/skills training. Our oldest dog, Chloe, has also experienced double CCL surgeries, so we also have experience with rehabilitation, medication issuance, and emotional support during healing. We’ve dog sat for multiple of our friends dogs who have special feeding schedules and needs that we've been able to maintain while they are with us. Given our experience, we are comfortable and confident to provide your dog with a safe and caring environment, where their needs can be met and they can have fun while you're away, playing with our dogs both in our home and in our fenced in back yard. We both work full time from home and care for our two dogs throughout the day, so your dogs will have non-stop supervision, socialization, and 2 other dogs to keep them company for their entire stay. We have two dogs currently that we have had for 9 and 3 years, that get along great with other dogs with experiences in other Rover's homes, time at The Wag (Dog Park & Bar near Grandview), having spent time at Doggy Daycares, and countless playdates with our friends' dogs through the years. We have a fenced in backyard where the dogs can play and have fun. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a large house for the dogs to run and play throughout the day. There is manmade ponds in our neighborhood with walking trails for when everyone wants to go on a walk.

About: I’m a dog (and cat!) mom looking for a fun way to keep myself accountable on my health journey! I’m a 41 year old mom to a teenage boy, a 9 year old yorkie mix (Severus), and 10 cats! About: I've been around various dog breed since as a child. From as small as a chihuahua and dachshund to the size of german shepards and Rottweiler. My biggest thing with animals im general is just understanding their personalities and setting them up for success. Always easier than done but thats the challenge and its always rewarding for you and the animal with building long term friendship and goals! I think the challenging experience I've had with a close friend of mine who i see once a year dog sitting his 2 Belgium malnois, senior german shepherd and Rottweiler shepard mix. It was difficult as i had not met the 2 Belgium malnois in person but after being acquainted and exercising them it was a match made in heaven! My close friend hardly let anyone watch his dogs except his wife due to how the dogs are very particular with who they interact with. Other than that I'm excited to meet some fur babies could turn to potential friends with my baby boy! At this current time I work remotely for my full time job 8 to 5. I am very flexible on the weekends. During the day incase I am close enough to let your animal out to use the restroom and let them stretch their legs. I understand how important it is especially being away from home atleast 7hrs is hard for a dog. When it comes to safety I always make sure the dogs does not have access to areas that can cause them harm or they can get into. I've met some sneaky dogs over the years where you have to make sure the trash in a locked closet etc. Always thinking how to keep the dog safe as I would hope someone would do the same for my boy! In regard to trust just have to be patient with the fur baby and take things slow. As humans we dont trust strangers so your pet for sure wouldnt right away. Before agreeing to any service I would always would love to meet the animal atleast twice before fully going through the process to make sure everyone feels safe and secure.
About: I can administer oral or pill medications if needed. I can provide your pet with stimulating exercise because I’m an athlete myself! I can also provide senior care to your pet. I am in charge of the pets my family has at home which includes feeding, walking, and bathing them. I currently work at a medical office in downtown Columbus during the week, Monday through Friday. I usually work from 7:30am-5pm. I am available anytime I get off of work to do drop-ins or walks. I usually don't take drop-ins for the morning due to the time that I have to be at work. For my own cat, I clean her litter box at least once day and she eats Smalls' pet food twice daily. On days when I am taking care of other's pets, my partner takes care of her in my stead. Charisma enjoys going on walks on the weekends and taking naps in my lap. For others pets, I will do my best to keep them as comfortable as possible and to keep the same schedule that you have set for them. If sleeping with them is allowed, that is also something I will do as long as they are comfortable. I will make sure that any mess your pet makes while you’re away will be cleaned up. I can bathe your pet if you want and can be there to keep them company if you wish. Keeping your pet comfortable is my priority!

About: I love dogs! I’ve always loved them. When i got my first dog at 8 I was terrified. I would scream and jump on the toilet. She wasn’t even the size of my backpack lol. As the years went on I grew not only a pet but a sister! She was there for me even when i didn’t think i needed her. I want to give your pet the same love I gave to her! Right now i have a mini golden doodle. She is a very special dog lol. She gets on my nerves but i wouldn’t trade her for anything. She’s always doing different things to keep me on my toes. I would make sure that your dog is properly cared for. Whether that is playing fetch with them or taking them for a walk. I live in an apartment that has a huge field. They will get the proper exercise for sure. I love to run with them.

About: I have had puppies and dogs in my life for the last 32 years. My life would not be complete without them. Currently I have a treeing walker coon hound who is full of energy. My lab just recently passed away. She was almost 13 years old. Being able to help people out by making sure their dogs or cats are loved and exercised would be so rewarding for me. I’m a nurse who works part time two days a week. I’m looking forward to filling the rest of my week with pet care appointments. I will respect your home and privacy and be sure and agree upon set instructions before entering and leaving. I will effectively communicate prior to and after each visit.
About: I've always had a passion for animals and can't wait to learn everything I can about them. Ive had experience caring for large dogs for weeks at a time but I love them all big and small. Feeding, walks, play time, baths, or just hanging out id be happy to show your furry friend the love and care the need. As much as I wish I could spend all my time with pets, I do have to maintain a full time job. My job is most Monday-Friday 8-5 and I will only be available alternating Saturday. “Mary was amazing. My dog Thyon is a sweet but skittish boy. Since making a big move from the country to the city, he has suffered from anxiety which he needed to be medicated for. I tried traditional boarding facilities however they were not a good fit. There were too many loud noises and he always came home stressed and nervous. Mary provided a wonderful environment. Not only was he able to quickly adapt and feel comfortable, but he seemed to thrived there. He was running in the yard with her dog Elle. Which he has not done since we moved months ago. I have finally found a place where I am comfortable to leave my boy and know he’s being well cared for. Thanks Mary!”

I was in a tough spot when my Australian Shepherd named Wendle came down with a cough that needed treated with antibiotics and steroids 2 days before I was scheduled to leave the country on vacation for 10 days. With the alternative being to leave him in isolation at boarding for the entire time or canceling the trip, I was scrambling to find a sitter last minute and we really lucked out connecting with Emily here. She was amazing with Wendle, treating him as her own and I know he loved every minute of his own vacation with her. Emily kept me updated with detailed messages and pictures of Wendle during my trip and had no issues with giving him his medication and taking him on walks and giving him all the attention he needed. I can’t thank her enough for taking in Wendle at the last minute and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter in the future.”
