“We were very happy with our two standard poodles' stay with Gail. They loved her backyard and they made themselves at home with Gail so we felt good about leaving them with her for the 5 days we were away.”

“My senior pup just got home from a wonderful weekend with Patti! He had the best care and we received regular updates and photos. My dog has vision issues among other senior ailments and needs medication at meals. Patti was so patient and helped him navigate the new space, always making sure he was safe. We felt so comfortable with Igor in Patti’s care and look forward to him visiting her again!”

“Athena is so kind and so compassionate, my dogs loved their time wither her & her family. They loved their new friend Rufus❤️ communication was outstanding, lots of pictures. It was such a comfort knowing how well cared for and loved my boys were while I was away. They were part of her family ❤️❤️❤️”

“Cassie is amazing! Her and her family make our pup Miles feel like he's one of their own. She sends regular updates with pictures and he's always a happy boy when we pick him up. We'll continue to book with her whenever needed.”

About: I come from an animal-loving family and have either owned or looked after any personality a dog could possibly have! Big ones, small ones, needy ones, naughty ones, nervous ones, old ones, lazy ones, you name it! I pride myself on being “that person” that dogs naturally gravitate towards (it runs in the family). My family recently lost the last of our 3 dogs (our 15 year old Puggle), so I am equipped for even the old guys & gals too! Your dog will not just be cared for, they will be spoiled and loved on as my own. I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with your baby, and Ive got you! I'll do anything your dog (or YOU) requires to be more comfortable. Even if you want to FaceTime your dog while you’re away...I won’t judge :). I know boarding places can be scary and stressful for a lot of dogs, and my goal is to provide a reliable, safe, peaceful, fun, and loving environment while you are away. PLEASE READ :) Due to the fact that I have 2 small children, I cannot under any circumstances accept: -Dogs that have never been around children -Dogs that have any specific aggression (towards food, toys, other dogs, etc.) -Pit Bulls/Rottweilers. I realize this is controversial and maybe even unfair, and If I didn’t have small children this would not be an issue, but my kids come first and I have to be selective to protect them. Being that we are caring for dogs we have never met, I cannot take the risk for breeds that could possibly do extensively harmful damage to them in a worst case scenario situation. Again, I love all dogs/breeds and realize these breeds are normally the sweetest dogs, I am just mitigating any and all risk as a protective Mama. I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! I am home every day with the occasional runs to drop my son off at preschool, or attend my own appointments that come up/occasional errands. Although I am home most of the day, I cannot accept dogs that have separation anxiety, as I do have weekly errands/school drop offs/grocery pickups etc. that take me away from the home for a small amount of time. I live in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I have a partially fenced in yard, but I would not be taking any dogs out without a leash. My back yard is hidden away from the main street and is great for taking dogs out. Rest assured they will have lots of potty breaks and sniffing outside breaks. We are pretty chill here! Once the weather warms up, walks are definitely in the daily schedule if wanted/needed... or just some sunbathing outside for the dogs who love a nap in the sunshine.
“Rikki and her family are super pleasant. She took care of our pup and I trusted her completely. I highly recommend her to anyone needing a trustworthy and experienced caregiver. Thank you so much, Rikki! We enjoyed our vacation and had zero worries. You rock!!”

“Tricia was excellent with our 2 year old Weimaraner Tucker. He has never never been boarded or stayed away from home and tends to be timid or anxious. She sent pictures to let me know he was doing well throughout his entire stay. I will definitely utilize Tricia again, she made me feel very comfortable that our guy was in great hands while we were away.”

“Melissa and her family are wonderful. I couldn't ask for someone better to take care of my dog while I'm away. She has been very easy to work with and Nala was excited to see her again. I highly recommend.”

“Theresa and her husband took such great care of our Niah on a last minute request. Niah hasn't stayed with too many strangers but Theresa and her husband did such a great job making her feel comfortable and making sure she adjusted and keeping me updated! I would highly recommend them for your fur babies!!!”

“Our mini labradoodle, Freddie, loves his time at his “vacation home” with Kristin and her family! We appreciate that they care for him the same as they do their own pets and we don’t have to worry about him while we are gone!”

“Sherri was great!! Lots of communication and pictures while we were away, and from the looks of the pictures they had a great time. We will definitely book her again.”

“George was so good with our dog Ziggy. Our dog is a very anxious dog, so we worried how it would go- we had no worries with George taking care of him! Ziggy liked him right away and had a blast playing with him in the fenced in backyard. George made sure to spend a lot of time with Ziggy and sent us pictures and updates. 100% would recommend George!”

“Milo seemed to have a great time at Tiffany’s house with her dogs and family :) She was flexible about our drop off and pick up times, which was incredibly helpful, particularly as our pick up time was a bit later in the day! We will definitely use her again !!”

“Savannah was great! She welcomed Charlie with open arms and an open heart! Couldn't have asked for a better caretaker! Five stars just doesn't do her justice...should be ten stars! Thank you Savannah and family! Kathryn and Milt”

“Aricka and her husband were absolutely lovely! They took such incredible care of my dog and kept me informed on how she was doing. Highly recommend them and I know Bella will be excited to go back! ❤️”
“Fantastic family took great care of my pups! Their home became home for my dogs. Plenty of fenced in yard for the active one. They took exceptional care of the older one with medical needs too. Their children and dogs were welcoming and kept my dogs plenty busy. I highly recommend and will definitely use them again.”

“Maria was very thorough regarding my requests when it came to caring for my two cats while I was away. She did a great job of reporting back to me with all of the details she was able to provide and I knew Blaze and Kiki were being well cared for in my absence! Will definitely be booking with Maria again when I go away.”

About: I have had kitties most of my life. I love kitties! Right now I have 2 cats of my own and I foster others. It took 3.5 years of trying before I could even pet one of my foster kitties. Last summer I took in a feral mom cat and 3 of her kittens. I worked and worked with the kittens to be able to touch them. One loves to be petted and the other 2 kittens will only let me pet them while they are eating a churu treat, lol. I bought a generation 7 wheel for the kittens. The one male kitten gets the wheel going so fast! He loves it! They're all so fun and spunky :)

“Natalie is amazing! I asked for her to help at the last minute and she didn't hesitate to help. She is very patient and was great with my stubborn dog. Thanks again Natalie!”

About: Hi, I’m Sami! I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my entire life, and caring for animals is second nature to me. I currently have three dogs of my own, all different sizes and ages, so I’m very comfortable managing multi‑dog households, different temperaments, and unique routines. I also work daily with two dogs through my job and care for them whenever my boss travels, so I’m used to maintaining consistent schedule & feeding routines. I practice balanced training with my own dogs, focusing on clear communication, confidence‑building, and creating a safe, predictable atmosphere. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely love getting to know each animal’s personality. Your pets will be treated like my own with love, respect, and lots of attention. I work only 3 days a week and can be available most mornings & evenings for feeding or walking/play time. I will try to make my schedule work around your pets needs. In your home I will make sure your pet is happy & safe. Also safe on walks as I like my own dogs to have structure and clear communication
“Alicia took excellent care of my senior cat Callie. She provided daily updates and pictures which gave the reassurance I needed. I would have her back in a minute. Thank you Rover for hiring her. I would say she is the top pet sitter!! Linda”

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for a wide range of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve self-trained my own dogs and I’m comfortable reinforcing basic obedience commands like sit, stay, leave it, and leash manners (especially helpful for puppies and energetic dogs). I also have experience caring for a dog with seizures who requires medication, so I’m confident with administering meds and supporting pets with special routines or extra care needs. In addition to my own pets, I’ve regularly helped neighbors and friends with pet sitting and daily care. I’m attentive, calm, and safety-focused, and I treat every pet like they’re my own. I also groom and bathe my own dogs, and while full grooming isn’t typically part of my services, I’m absolutely willing to help if an urgent situation arises. I’m self-employed and work from home, so I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate a wide range of needs. I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks and check-ins, including hourly relief when needed, and I can do multiple drop-ins throughout the day. Because I’m home often, I’m also able to give pets consistent attention, supervision, and routine support. Care looks a little different depending on whether I’m in your home or mine, but my top priorities are always safety, routine, and clear communication. I expect to communicate frequently during your pet's visit with me. In my home: For daycare or boarding, I require that dogs are crate trained, since dogs will be crated overnight and anytime I’m not home. I also require up-to-date vaccine records to keep everyone safe. I have two dogs of my own, so I carefully monitor introductions and compatibility. We do have a yard, but it is not fenced, so all outdoor time is supervised and on-leash. In your home: During our meet & greet, we’ll go over your pet’s routine in detail (feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication, etc.). I ask that any important care instructions are also listed in your pet’s Rover profile in writing, so everything is clear and consistent. I’m happy to follow your household routines as close as possible during the visit.
“We were a first time Rover user and Kristin was outstanding. She was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She took great care of our cat during the scheduled drop-in times. Highly recommended!”

“Amanda was amazing with my two cats while i was away for an extended time for work. She made me feel so secure and less anxious about leaving them home alone. She was very attentive to my cats’ needs and behaviors and was an excellent communicator (to humans and cats!)”

About: Since I was a child, I have always had animals in my home. As I got older, I began caring for friends and family's pets. When I was 16 years old, I began offering in home dog sitting services. Throughout my life I have worked for vet offices and boarding facilities. I started my own dog training company in 2017, Luna's Canine Academy. I currently work as a veterinary assistant in North Canton so you can rest assured that your pets are safe with me. I am a veterinary assistant and work 4 days a week. I have a 2 hour lunch break so I go home and let the dogs out to play on my lunch breaks. I don’t leave my dogs for more that 4-5 hours because my older dog cannot hold it for long. I have worked with dogs my entire life and am very knowledgeable in the care and safety of animals. I have many years of experience and wonderful referrals from past clients. Each dog is treated exactly how their owner would treat them. I am sure to be very thorough with my clients on what their daily routine is, what they are expecting, and what I will be providing. Safety is always my number one priority.

About: I can give medications to cats through syringe, they usually trust me. I have a useless talent of cat calling lol and I will give extra cuddles and attention to the fur babies outside of regular duties.

About: Hi! I’m Corey — a pet-loving guy who truly understands how deeply animals become family. I’ve spent the last 15 years caring for dogs, including two beloved seniors who recently passed in 2021 and 2025. Betty, an English Bulldog who was “thicker than a bowl of oatmeal,” and Sadie, my blue-tick coonhound/beagle mix who was a true treat connoisseur with a heart of gold. Losing them has been incredibly hard… but also a powerful reminder of just how special the bond with a pet really is. Caring for other people’s pets has become a form of healing and therapy for me. I miss the snoring, the wagging tails, the playtime, and the pure happiness a dog brings into a home. Being around animals fills me with joy, and I pour that love right back into the pups I watch. I have hands-on experience with: • Senior dog care (medications, patience, mobility support, and gentle comfort) • High-energy dogs who need walks and structured play • Bulldogs, hounds, and every personality in between • Smaller breeds like Chihuahuas and Dachshunds Your dog isn’t just a “dog” to me — they’re family, someone’s whole heart. And while you’re away, I’ll treat them with the same gentleness, humor, consistency, and affection that I gave to Betty and Sadie. I work from home and can provide exceptional care! Your dog is my main concern during the day and evening and will be spoiled and loved! I will treat your pet as my own and follow all instructions provided to me about your dog(s) routine and schedule. I truly care and want to make your experience easy and stress free.
“So good with Maple's puppy energy, her home is so dog-friendly with an amazing back yard for safe wandering and playing. So grateful my puppy can have a great time with her new friends at Kathy's home while I am working!”

About: I grew up in a home full of animals, including three boxers, a pit bull, and cats all around! All of the animals i’ve owned have lived to senior ages, so I am aware of what may need done to love the older guys a little extra! I’m also aware of what puppy training or walking may look like. I’ve trained and raised three of my own dogs as well. I am currently working full time, but my hours may vary per day! I am available for dog walking/drop in visits early morning and afternoon/evening! Currently our day starts with a potty trip and around ten minutes of enrichment before going into kennels for work! Once I am home, we are at a park or on a walk daily! My girls eat once in the morning and once in the evening. Our evening then finishing with a final potty break and settling into bed!
“Holly was able to accommodate my very last minute booking request and I am so thankful! She took Lucy for a few walks throughout the day and I could tell that Lucy was well taken care of. Thank you again, I really appreciate it!!”

“Sarah was incredibly thorough and made sure that my dog felt comfortable in a new space! Thank you so much for your time and giving Lou Lou an incredibly fun experience.”

About: I have had pets my entire life. I have a boxer and a purple currently. I have watched my friends dogs while they are out of town. I have been a teacher for 20 years and I love to stay active, walking , hiking and aerobic sports. I know how hard it is to leave your pets and I would only leave my dogs with someone I truly trusted and that would give them the same love and affection as ibdo every day. I realize how difficult it is to trust someone with your "babies" and that is why I know I am a perfect person for the job. I know that dogs get so excited just to have someone pet them, let alone go on walks when their owners are away. I am a teacher and have all summer off. My own children are grown and independent, so I am able to work at all hours of the day. Having my own dogs, I know how important it is for them to be in their own environment where they are more comfortable and relaxed. Dogs know when there owners are away,so to be in their happy place is very important.
“Echo had such a great stay—we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From the start, communication was easy and reassuring, and it was clear she was in good hands. What really stood out was how flexible he was with scheduling, especially when we had an unexpected delay getting back. Instead of adding stress to an already hectic situation, he was incredibly understanding and accommodating, which meant a lot. Echo came home happy, relaxed, tired (which is not an easy accomplishment) and clearly well cared for (honestly, I think she might’ve been a little disappointed to leave her new babysitter 😄). It’s such a relief knowing there’s someone trustworthy and kind to rely on.”

About: It seems as if I've always had a cat or dog or both since I was in grade school. At this time I have many kitties and one dog. Some of my kitties are foster kitties. Some I can pet and others I enjoy from a distance. I have 1 dog named Frannie. She is possibly a Rottweiler shepherd mix. In the past I grew up with a standard poodle. I have had a shepherd mix, another Rottweiler mix and a pit mix. I have seen all my dogs and cats thru to the rainbow bridge. I have fostered a litter of labrador puppies. That was fun! I currently help my mom with her pug mix named Chloe. I am currently working part time at a pre-school. I have Mondays, weekends, holidays and the summers off. I work until noon Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Fridays until 3pm I would need to make sure your pets are cared for before I go to work @7:15am. I have a neighbor who helps me let my dog out while I'm at work, so I would be free after work to check on your animal(s). I would then need to come back to my house and take care of my animals and then go back to check on yours. I could do that as often as needed and then longer thru the night. I anticipate every situation to be different so depending on the need. I would be able to keep kitties in my spare bedroom. I have a large screen door to put in front of the bedroom door to keep them separate from my animals if needed. I am flexible to what the needs may be

About: I have lived with at least 1 dog in my house since the day I was born. I really started taking care of dogs when we got our current one 7 years ago. I started dog sitting when I was 17 years old. Every client that I have worked for has asked me to come back and I continue to work for them. I love all different kinds of dogs. I have worked with small and large dogs. Along with dogs as young as 1 year olds, all the way up to 14 year old dogs I am a college student, so I can be with the dog(s) while I’m home doing homework. I only go to school 3 days a week, and I only go for a few hours. So I will be able to spend plenty of time with your dogs! I have one fun and hyper dog, he has an electric fence so he loves to run around the yard. I love to take breaks from doing homework to play with him.

About: I have been dog walking and house sitting since I was in 6th grade! I wanted to help and earn money for my parents so we could afford groceries! Over time I grew to love watching over animals and their homes! I love every single animal I have come by and absolutely adore taking care of them and getting to know each and every spunky trait they have! I have a very flexible Hybrid job! I work from home Everyday except for Wednesdays! On my office day I work in Twinsburg from 8:30a-5p. If your pup cannot be left alone for 7-8 hours, let me know in advance so I can request to work from home on my office day :) Being active is one of the most bonding experiences between you and an animal! Most importantly I make sure to ask about their animals activity and if they like certain areas to walk in or play! Making sure to follow an animals regular schedule is super important because it can be stressful for them to have a new person in their home and having that person follow their routine puts the furry friends at ease as well as pet parents :) Proper care is of upmost importance !

About: Hello! I am a huge animal lover and have been around cats and dogs all of my life, including with the addition of my own furry-son who I adopted while in college. I’m comfortable around all sizes, ages, or any combination of the two. My schedule is extremely flexible as I continue my education, so I can accommodate early mornings, late nights, and anything in between! Thank you for checking out my profile and I hope to meet your furry family member soon! I’m currently a student pilot who sets my own schedule, so I am super flexible to be available any time of the day/week to take care of your pet! Living in my parents home means there are multiple animal-loving people to keep your pet company alongside a couple of other friendly cats! That said, I can easily keep animals separated if that is preferred. In your home, I will take deliberate care to be a calm, cheerful visitor for your pet and to leave your home as perfect as I found it!

“Tricia was excellent with our 2 year old Weimaraner Tucker. He has never never been boarded or stayed away from home and tends to be timid or anxious. “I brought our dog Yukon for daycare to Paula & Bill today, and I were a little worried at the beginning since my dog has strong separation anxiety. To my surprise, Yukon adapted so well in new environment. He felt comfortable very quickly, and had great time with Paula,Bill and their two dogs Marty &Ginger. iIt was clear he was well cared for and given lots of attention. It means so much to us to find a loving, patient, and responsible family to take care of our fur baby. We truly appreciate the warm and safe environment they provide. We definitely will come back again! Highly recommend!”
