My job schedule is not the most consistent, but typically 9-5 on weekdays, but sometimes I’ll be done earlier or have a long break in the middle, but I always have lunch and I would be able to go back for a potty break then. And weekends are always different, but I would be gone for shorter periods of time. Walks would be in the evening during the week and then we could work out a time in the morning or evening on the weekends. More than happy to keep your baby company if you are out of town and take care of whatever they need. I’m also willing to stay over and house sit if that is needed, but can also just do visits if that’s preferred. If you’re in town, but in a busy phase of life I would be able to take your dog on long walks, do enrichment activities, or take them to a dog park.

About: Hi, I’m Kristen! For more than 25 years, my home and heart have belonged to rescue dogs. I know firsthand that our four-legged family members require patience and understanding as they age or transition through life. Right now, I share my life a senior rescue hound (age ~13) who receives daily oral medications. Recently, I lovingly cared for my 15-year-old rescue through a cancer diagnosis, managing a complex daily schedule of multiple medications and physical mobility assistance, including carrying her safely up and down stairs. While we live in an apartment, it’s a very dog-friendly community with lots of green space, walking trails, and nature nearby, making it a great place for daily walks and outdoor time. I always prioritize your dog’s safety by following their routine, keeping a close eye on them, and making sure they feel comfortable and secure. I’m happy to accommodate crates, medications, special feeding schedules, or any other care your pup needs. My goal is to make them feel right at home and give you peace of mind while you’re away.

“Great Communication with Megan & David for my 1st time leaving Jackson with a new Rover sitter. I was even welcomed to do a meet and greet that went well. It left me very comfortable leaving Jackson for 5 nights. I received pictures and updates on how he was adjusting. I have already set up some more stays for some trips I have planned. “Simba had a great first night stay with Kiersten! He got along well with her 2 dogs and came hope nice and tired! Kiersten is super! She asked lots of questions and made sure she knew how Simba was and made sure I was comfortable with what she had planned while Simba was there. She sent pics throughout the day and treated him like her own! Simba will be going back next week for a longer stay as I know he will be happy at Kiersten’s!”
