Before working for Rover, I would travel from Toledo, Ohio to Hamilton/Fairfield which is estimately a 3 hour drive without a problem to dog sit for my sister and I absolutely enjoyed doing it. According to relocating, now I live in Middletown Ohio and working toward starting a dog sitting businesss. About: When I was about 8 years old my family got our first dog and helped my parents with basic training because it was fun, as a kid, to teach a dog how to shake and roll over. That's when my deep love for dogs began. Growing up I had a female Cocker Spaniel named Emily and a male Beagle named Fortitude. As I got older, I knew I wanted a dog of my own and when I was 20, I got a female lab mix and named her Tayla. She went EVERYWHERE with me and I trained her off leash unless we went on walks. She unfortunately passed in August 2024 due to a tumor. In February 2024, my beautiful dog Lenna crossed the rainbow bridge at the young age of 6, due to kidney disease. Loss is hard, but the memories we had and her heart lives within mine. I currently have a 2 year old female red Doberman named Maisie who is my service dog. Since I got her at 8 weeks old, she was also trained off leash unless on walks. She is a true Doberman being a Velcro dog which has made her become a wonderful service dog. I also have a soon to be 3 year old Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepard named Reigny. She is high energy and loves to play, but also great during the day time to just hang out and sleep while I work. She is off leash and e-collar trained. She is friendly and loves snuggles, just needs to get to know someone first as she may bark a lot when you first meet her, especially in my home. I work remote full time for a therapy company, therefore I can generally adjust my schedule to be available for morning and afternoon appointments during the weekdays. Weekends I am generally open, especially in the summer months. Daycare can be in your home, I would just need access to Internet to be able to still work during the daytime. Leash manners are important, however I am more than willing to add that into walking/caring for your beloved dog. In home manners are also appreciated with not an excessive amount of barking or jumping, yet again, this is something I would be happy to assist with. Lots of attention, fresh water and meal times being met are important, especially when an outside caretaker comes in while the family is away. In my home or yours, I guarantee they will be care for like I care for my own girls! I will be certain to make sure your pet is not alone for too long when caring for them in your home and will always respect their responses upon my return.

About: My husband Jeff and I have 2 dogs and no kids. Our dogs are our kids! Our dogs are about 2 years old and get along well with other dogs. Both of us grew up with dogs and have had dogs that are both young and senior. We give our dogs lots of time and attention. We are responsible pet owners and believe in keeping them healthy, loved, safe, and part of our pack! I am retired and my husband works part-time so one of us is almost always home to care for your pet(s). If we are gone for a few hours, our dogs are caged in the house. Usually, it is if we go out for dinner or the store, so it's for short periods. If your dog does not do caging, that's ok as long as they are good! We have a large fenced yard. Our 6 foot privacy fence also has wire mesh at the bottom of the fence to make sure dogs are safe and can't get out (or other animals get in). Our dogs are about 3 years old and get along well with other dogs. They love to play and are free to move in the house and the yard, and they get regular walks. Dogs are allowed on furniture. We would love to be your pet sitter while you are away, and you can be confident your doggie will be happy, safe and loved!
About: I have one dog who is often spoiled with hikes, snuffle mats, sniff work, yard activities, special treats and some basic training. I'd love to spoil your pup in the same ways while we all hang out! I walk my dog almost every day. And on days I can't I make sure we do extra indoor activities or play extra in the Yard, maybe go for an extra car ride. First, I follow any instructions given by dog parents. I'm very trustworthy and I'll treat your dogs as if they're my own! I love to play with dogs, will take them for walks, or just hangout and give them a good scratch or brushing. About: I have taken care of all types of dogs. I have socialized puppies for professional dog trainers. I walk dogs for friends and family, and several families rely on me to pet sit and scoop poop. Pet care fits into my routine by my flexible schedule I work with merchandising which allows me multiple hours in between shifts to do on walks, or just hang out with animals for a bit! According to relocating, now I live in Middletown Ohio and working toward starting a dog sitting businesss. My sister introduced me to rover and I am excited to be doing business with different types of dogs and people. I am willing to walk, feed, play and keep your dog company. Not only those services but I am offering a free dog grooming service the first time i watch your pup.
