About: Hi there! I’m Awia, and I’ve had around 25 years of experience caring for animals. I’ve shared my life with many wonderful dogs and cats, and I currently have a sweet Pekingese named Peking along with two cats, Lolli and Ashley. More than likely, I will pet or talk to your dog before I start a conversation with you...I’ve always had dogs in my household growing up. About: In addition to growing up with both dogs and cats of my own, I have been caring for pets through Rover for nearly 8 years now and I know exactly how much work goes into taking care of man's best friend! Whether you have an energetic puppy, a special needs senior, or family felines, I am here to help! I'm WFH full-time and am able to offer boarding and doggy daycare for small breeds only (under 15lbs due to weight restrictions at my apartment, house-trained, and not prone to loud barking or urine marking), but since I have two cats with limited space, I require a meet and greet in my home prior to booking. While I do offer house sitting and drop-in visits, I have a diabetic cat that requires insulin injections 8am & 8pm which does mean I have to stay pretty local for overnight & prefer no more than 5 nights (also if you have a diabetic cat too, I got you!). House sitting rates includes staying in your home around the clock, aside from my twice a day trips home and any errands or other drop-ins I might have. If 30-60 min drop ins are too short for your fur baby's needs, please select house sitting option and I will work with you to stay in the home as much as you need even if overnights aren't necessary :) When first meeting clients I like to do a thorough walk-through of everything there is to know about their pup's feeding and walking schedule as well as about the home (alarms, spare keys, guest room etc.) that way I have less questions for the owner while they are away and can confidently jump into the dog's regular routine without any hiccups.

About: My 14yo Dachshund-mix has been in my family since her puppy years, and in her old age I wanted to maximize her health-span/quality of life. About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs and fostered dogs ever since 8th grade (I am now a going into my third year of college). I’ve volunteered at shelters and have dog-sat over night before! I’ve also been able to train each and every dog I’ve had with basic skills and very cool niche skills I also as of June 2026 work at a vets office/facility as a kennel technician! I am currently on my summer break from college, though I am also working part-time at a vets office as a kennel technician. There I administer dogs and cats, feed them, walk them, give them their daily meds, clean cages, do nail trims, give baths, and more! My work schedule may vary as it’s a part time job but during the summer you can expect a few times a week for up to 3-6 hours per day! If your dogs also get along well with other dogs I can take them to work with me! (Cats unknown) I take out the pets when needed and feed them when it’s time for them to eat and make sure they always have water in their water bowl. I will crate an animal if told to and go on walks with the dog if wanted to as well.

“I was so impressed by Marylin’s professionalism as well as her knowledge of dogs and their behavior. From the beginning meeting to a trial over night our dog was treated and cared for like he was her own. She was prompt , polite and so easy to work with. She sent us pictures and videos . Her policies were clear as well as all communication. Our dog has a new friend and we have found a safe, fun, caring place for him to stay when we need a place for him.
