We’ve used drop-in sitters before, but this was our first time trying boarding, and I immediately felt confident leaving him with her. Deanna introduced him to the other dogs in such a calm, skilled, and safe way, and her dogs were so gentle that my pup seemed to adjust much more easily than I expected. About: Hi! I’ve been a dog lover my whole life and have rescued many dogs over the years. I also grew up with dogs during my childhood. The last six we’ve owned have been rescues. I'm looking for part-time work doing some type of care for other's dogs, whether it be caring for them in their own home while the family is on vacation or letting them out during the day while the owner works. I'm available most days for overnight stays (based on availability) and most days for walks and drop-in visits, if they need to be let out or just played with for a while. I now own two small dogs. They are a Cavachon that we got at the age of 8 weeks and a Yorkie mix we adopted when he was 3. The Cavachon’s name is Cooper and in 2025 he turned 4. He was a breeder surrender because he wasn’t “perfect,” meaning he was born without his right front paw. He gets around fine and loves other dogs and people. The second little guy is Boomer, a Yorkie mix who is 4 now. They are both dog and people friendly. I'm hoping to share my love for dogs with others who need help caring for theirs. I’m very allergic to cats so I can’t help with them. Small dogs only. I have experience giving medications and also giving insulin shots, because one of my dogs was diabetic. Thanks and I hope you’ll consider me for your dog’s care. We are retired and I do dog sitting and walking part-time for extra money. Sometimes my husband comes along too. About: Your pet is treated as my own and a family member. Your fur baby is not crated unless you request that and provide the crate. Your pet gets to go outside and run and play several times a day. I go out and encourage playing and running for exercise. When the weather permits, we walk through the field and explore along the canal. If your pet is older and doesn't want to play or explore, that's ok. I have plenty of shaded areas for them to just lounge and take a snooze while I sit with them and read. I would love to share your fur babies with you. Must provide proof of all shot records (including Kennel Cough vaccine). I have a large fenced in back yard and a standard poodle that would love to play with your pup/pups and keep them company. She loves having new playmates.

About: I've had dogs off and on my entire life but it wasn't until we adopted our baby girl Coco that I really fell in love. We had 13.5 wonderful years with her, then after she passed we decided to foster dogs in her honor and have been doing this since Sept. 2020 with several local organizations. We have fostered 25 dogs and have sat 26 dogs to date, including puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with behavioral and medical special needs. Drop-ins are similar where the pet will be taken outside for the restroom if needed and have some playtime to let out some energy. For pet sitting jobs, I tend to ask more questions about your pet to get a better understanding of their needs as well as anything else that will need taken care of such as collecting the mail, or watering plants. No matter the species, each visit will include playing, treats, and lots of pets!
