“Kimberely was truly exceptional with my dog, Rooster. She treats every dog she watches as if they are a member of her own family, and it genuinely shows. From her daily updates, it was clear she took the time to understand Roo’s unique personality and little quirks — something that meant so much to me. Rooster can struggle with separation anxiety, and this was our first Rover experience where, when I arrived to pick her up, she happily greeted me and then immediately went back to playing instead of making a beeline for the car to go home. That alone speaks volumes about how safe, comfortable, and loved she felt in Kimberely's care. Her home is also clean, cozy, and perfectly set up for dogs, with a fenced-in backyard that gives them plenty of space to play and relax. I can’t recommend Kimberely highly enough. Knowing that I have such a wonderful, trustworthy sitter makes me genuinely look forward to my next trip — and I know Roo will too.”

About: What sets us apart is the genuine care and experience we bring to every dog we welcome into our home. My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and before having our daughter, we fostered dogs, which gave us experience with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and needs. We currently have a friendly 2-year-old lab mix, so we’re very familiar with maintaining routines, exercise needs, and positive reinforcement. One of our biggest strengths is working with anxious or shy dogs—we’re patient, attentive, and take the time to build trust at each dog’s pace so they feel safe and comfortable. We treat every dog like part of our family and strive to create a calm, loving environment where they can relax and be themselves. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home Monday–Friday. Your dog will have consistent companionship throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. During the day, dogs are free to relax, play, and interact with our friendly 2-year-old lab mix. We also incorporate daily walks and outdoor playtime (weather permitting), along with plenty of attention, affection, and structured routine. Because I’m home, I’m able to closely monitor each dog’s needs and adjust care to ensure they feel comfortable, engaged, and right at home. Then when my husband and daughter are not in work or school they will help care for your dogs and play with them. In our home, we strive to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every dog in our care. We have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play, explore, and get plenty of exercise in a secure space. Inside, dogs are treated like part of the family—free to relax, play, and enjoy a calm, structured routine. We can accommodate crate training if your dog is used to it or needs a safe space while we’re briefly away from home. We pay close attention to each dog’s individual needs, whether that’s extra playtime, a quieter environment, or a consistent routine, so they feel secure and at home during their stay.

About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. Sara was even able to see and get a photo of my super scared cat (Odie) that no ever sees, that just doesn't happen. We asked Sara to stay for an hour to love on them so they would not feel so abandoned. She did just that and we have pictures showing how our needy/affectionate cat (Loki) just crawled all over her. The area around the food and water bowl was left clean and tidy. The liter box was cleaned regularly. Thank you for attention to detail. About: I have 2 cats of my own - Echo and Luna. They were both rescued as tiny babies and are now 6 and 7. I have cared for dogs my whole like (my own, friends, families). I genuinely love every breed and can walk, play, clean up after or just spend time with any pet! I also am a registered volunteer at a local shelter where I go in to walk the dogs or spend time socializing the cats. I work from home so I could also keep your puppy while you’re at work to help with potty training, etc. I work from home and have pretty free weekends. About: I've had pets as long as I can remember. I have 2 Great Danes..a bully mix and two cats at the moment. My most recent job was at a local dog boarding/daycare facility. I also foster through Cincinnati Animal Care. I'm currently a stay at home mom with pretty much an open availability. I can make myself available morning..noon and night. Almost any day of the week I would be available as well. I provide your pet with lots of attention and pets if that's what they're into. About: I spent my entire life around animals. I grew up with an Australian Shepherd, who lived to be 18. Not long after that, my family adopted a puppy, and later two cats. I helped to train the puppy, I introduced the cats, and today they still thrive. Theoughout my childhood/teens, I learned about and cared for many-a-creature. I have a lot of flexibility on the weekends and could check in multiple times during the day. Weekday evenings are best, normally 5pm and after. About: I’ve grown up with dogs since I was three years old. Our household has once consisted of four dogs at once and I loved it. I’ve taken care of dogs as young as eight months to 14 years old. My experience consists of grooming, potty training, basic training, feeding & water, medication management, and even changing diapers in later stages of life. I’ve also taken care of neighbors pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, and even hedgehogs. I have experience of checking in on the dogs and feeding them throughout the day to staying at the house for hours to provide exercise and company for their furry friend. I also have over a year of volunteer experience at local dog shelters. I am a graduate student so I have open availability throughout the week. The longest I’m gone one day per week is four hours. I do work from home on Monday’s for two hours but then I am free to spend time with my furry friends. I attend classes twice a week, Monday’s I am gone for 3 hours and Tuesday’s I am gone for 7 hours. The rest of the week I am not home for 0-3 hours. This means your furry friend will not be left alone for more than 4 hours any day except Tuesdays. I walk my dogs every 2-4 hours and we enjoy trips to the dog park at my apartment complex. I have two friendly dogs at my apartment that would love to meet your pet. We spend a lot of our time playing or snuggling on the couch. We go for walks around our apartment complex and we take trips to the dog park next to our building. I have a young energetic dog that loves to play and a have an older dog that loves to get the zoomies and then become a couch potato. When I am away, my dogs stay in their crates. For your furry friend, I can use a doggy gate to give them some extra space since they are in a new environment. I can keep them in my kitchen which will give them enough space to walk around and lay in their bed. My dogs takes medicine twice a day so I already have a routine for giving medications to my dogs. I would be happy to walk your furry friends with my dogs or by themselves if that is your preference. We also have plenty of dogs toys ranging from stuffed animals to the Bark Super Chewer toys, if your dog likes to destroy toys, like mine does. I have two beagles so I am used to food driven dogs that only listen if there are treats involved. I also have my garbage secured underneath the cabinets with baby locks on them so no animal can get to it. I also am within 20 minutes of a 24 hours emergency vet if your dog was to ever show any concerning signs.
About: I've had household pets my whole life and began to own and care for my own pets when I was around 10. I've loved and cared for fish, hamsters, and frogs over the years. Currently I care for a leopard gecko, a bearded dragon, and several hermit crabs, in addition to helping my family care for our dog and cat! I have experience pet-sitting guinea pigs and walking neighbors' dogs, and have also volunteered in an animal shelter for cats and small mammals where I cleaned cages, groomed, and socialized the animals. About: Hi! My name is Kate Palmer, and I recently graduated from the University of Cincinnati 🎓❤️ I just started on Rover and am looking for pet sitting opportunities because I genuinely love animals and caring for them! 🐶🐱 Although I’m new to Rover, I have years of caregiving experience through nannying for multiple families, which has taught me how to be patient, responsible, attentive, and dependable. Right now, I nanny, but my schedule depends on when the family needs me, so I have a very flexible schedule and lots of availability 😊 I grew up around dogs and lots of cats, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life 🐾 My parents have a dog that I help care for often, and I also have two cats of my own! Because of this, I’m very familiar with daily pet routines, different personalities, and making animals feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Because of this, I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, pet sitting, and even last-minute bookings. Caring for animals already fits naturally into my everyday life, I grew up with dogs and cats, help care for my parents’ dog, and have two cats of my own! I genuinely love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, active, and well cared for while their owners are away 💛 I always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any special instructions. I know how important consistency is for animals and I always treat both pets and homes with respect and care. Since I have a dog and two cats of my own, I’m very familiar with reading animal behavior, giving pets attention and patience, and making sure they feel calm and cared for. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel comfortable knowing their pet is in good hands!
About: I've cared for dogs, cats, fish, and small animals for 20 years. I am also a reptile owner and comfortable caring for some reptiles and amphibians. I am currently available full time for pet care, regarding pet sitting or daily walks. I am also able to care for and feed some reptiles and most amphibians. I much prefer to care for animals in their own home. I feel it is less stress on the animal and more comfortable for them.

About: I worked as a Veterinary Assistant for over 20 years and just recently decided to stay home with my kids full time. Pet sitting has always been something I’ve done on the side for family and friends, but now that I have more time available, I’m very excited to be able to love and care for your fur babies just like they were my own! I am currently available for daily walks and 2 potty breaks per day, and of course PLAY TIME! I also offer drop in services if you do not feel your pet needs a walk or additional exercise. I am available for any and all of your pet care needs, and with 20 yrs of previous veterinary experience, I am also comfortable giving both oral medications and injectables for diabetic patients. I love being around all animals because they provide a great sense of calm and familiarity for me. I always treat a client’s pet just as I would my own and they will receive endless love & attention while in my care. I do work part time during the week and have two young boys at home- while we are a very active family, I can usually carve out time even on work days for drop in visits or walks.

About: What sets us apart is the genuine care and experience we bring to every dog we welcome into our home. My husband and I both grew up with dogs, and before having our daughter, we fostered dogs, which gave us experience with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and needs. We currently have a friendly 2-year-old lab mix, so we’re very familiar with maintaining routines, exercise needs, and positive reinforcement. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine since I work from home Monday–Friday. Your dog will have consistent companionship throughout the day and won’t be left alone for long periods. During the day, dogs are free to relax, play, and interact with our friendly 2-year-old lab mix. We also incorporate daily walks and outdoor playtime (weather permitting), along with plenty of attention, affection, and structured routine. Because I’m home, I’m able to closely monitor each dog’s needs and adjust care to ensure they feel comfortable, engaged, and right at home. Then when my husband and daughter are not in work or school they will help care for your dogs and play with them. In our home, we strive to create a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for every dog in our care. About: Hi! I’m Heather — a stay-at-home foster mom, runner, dog lover, and experienced foster/service dog handler based in Batavia, Ohio. After years in corporate recruiting, I’m finally leaning into a life that feels a little more like me — being home with our foster son, spending more time with dogs, being outside, going on walks, and building something slower and more meaningful here in Ohio. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve helped foster and raise more than 50 dogs over the years, including service dogs in training, and I’m also a certified volunteer through the Clermont County Animal Shelter where I walk dogs, take dogs on day trips, and foster here in Ohio. Before moving here, I also helped watch and walk dogs for friends, family, neighbors, and foster connections in Minnesota. I genuinely love all breeds and personalities and really enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. Since I’m home most of the day, dogs here get lots of supervision, outdoor time, enrichment, walks, naps, snuggles, and attention throughout the day. We also have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labs that love having dog friends around. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone else, so I’m big on communication and love sending lots of photo updates throughout their stay so you know they’re happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, supervised outdoor time, meals on their normal schedule, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I’m not away for long workdays, pets spend very little time alone and are part of our family’s daily activities. Safety is my top priority. We have a fully fenced yard and two friendly Labrador Retrievers who are used to having other dogs around. I’ve fostered and raised more than 50 dogs, including service dogs in training, and I’m comfortable managing different personalities, routines, crate schedules, medications, and introductions. Meet & greets are required before all new boarding stays so we can make sure everyone is comfortable and it’s a good fit for both your dog and our home. I want every dog to feel safe, successful, and stress-free during their stay.
