“Kirsten and Nicolas were great! They sent pics during the whole stay and were very communicative. They also have a fenced in back yard that they let the dogs run around in. They updated us when the pups appetites were low, which I really appreciated. Both of our dogs tend to be anxious without us because they aren’t used to used to being alone, so it was also a big plus that they work from home. In the past we have had to send our pups to kennels because we don’t have friends or family near by who can watch them. They would be locked in a kennel all day and we would literally have to pay extra for belly rubs or time out of the kennel. I usually feel uneasy the whole trip but not this time. I could tell they were well taken care of and treated like one of their own. Thank you so much Kirsten and Nicolas!”

About: My love of animals led to my passion for taking care of them. I am a Registered Veterinary Technician. I graduated from CSCC Veterinary Technology program in 2021. I work at a vet clinic, so I've learned the signs of a happy pet and a pet in distress. This makes me the perfect person in any situation involving your beloved fur baby. Besides providing a copious amount of loving, I can give cats/dogs their medication including pills, liquid and insulin. If there is an emergency, I can drive them immediately to your Veterinary or Emergency Hospital. With the few years of being in the Veterinary field, I've given plenty of baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, and medications. All of which I can provide for you. In the clinic setting, I was in charge of vaccines, putting patients under anesthesia and monitoring them. I've drawn blood, performed dentals, taken X-rays and cleaned wounds. I feel that all of this information will give your mind ease that your pets will be completely safe in my care. (Starting August 13th ‘25, I cannot do morning visits on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) I'm currently working at an orthopedic vet clinic on Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays but, I’d like to help with your fur babies after my shift and/or on my days off. I have a wonderful 13 year old daughter that goes to Delaware Schools that likes to come with me to help (we ask your permission first). When taking care of your pets, I will follow your feeding schedule and instructions along with refilling their water bowl as needed. I'll provide exercise and playtime that will include walks, fetch and toys. I can administer any medications needed and keep track of both times and dosage. Bathing and grooming your pets can be a part of the care as well. If you have a cat, I can clean and/or change the litter box. Not only will I give them so much love and companionship, but I will also monitor for unusual behavior, signs of illness, and changes in appetite or bathroom habits. I will keep them safe from anything potentially harmful. I would love to send updates and pictures of your fur babies whenever you'd like. If there happens to be an emergency, I will call you immediately and drive them to your veterinarian or closest emergency hospital. Lastly, I will lock up the house securely after each visit and follow any security measures that are in place.

I originally booked only 2 nights with Kristi but ended up extending for another night because my plans were disrupted by traffic and an accident on the way back from Chicago to Ohio. “Caitlyn is wonderful! I love my kitties above all else, and worry to death over leaving them. I had to leave them for a week-long work trip for the first time in a new community. She came over beforehand and I could tell she was very organized and caring. She asked a lot of good questions that showed she has experience, things I would not have thought of. She came every day and sent me an update and lots of pictures. I always knew what was going on each day, even that my basement had flooded a little from the rain we got! It meant so much to me to know they were cared for and safe. She also kept everything very clean and had clearly swept around their litter boxes etc. I definitely highly recommend Caitlyn.”

About: I’ve been around and have taken care of my own dogs since I was 10, any age, any size. For as long as I can remember I’ve never not had a dog of my own. They were not lying when they said dogs are a man’s best friend. I treat my fur baby like he is my literal baby because in a sense he is. And I treat any other dog just the same! :) I work full time m-f 9-5. I let my own fur baby out of the cage and he is monitored on a camera and watches tv while I am away. I can easily leave your fur baby out or they can be crated. I come home on lunch break to take Gravel out. I can only do boarding during the week but I have open full availability on the weekends. My own fur baby eats 2 times a day one morning one night. Gets treats often 🤭 and gets all the cuddles. I will treat your dog with the very same love and care as I do mine. About: Growing up on a farm set the stage for providing and caring for all sorts of animals. Many years spent showing horses, lambs, goats, market hogs and all sorts of small animals in 4H. After college I started working with standardbred race horses as a groom. Since then for the past 6 years I have worked with racehorses, broodmares and foals. All the while keeping my loyal canines happy. Since having a sweet baby boy in April, I have quit my full time job. On occasion I still work for my fiancé and his families racehorse stable. About: Our senior rescues passed on last year; I want to care for others animals as I did for them. If you are going on vacation, out of town, or having a long day at work, I can check in with them. My work is sporadic, but I am taking time off and re-connecting with furry friends. I can spend several hours a day with your pets as needed My house does have a fenced back yard. We love very close to the bike path which is ideal for walks. If they have specific diet concerns that is good to know as well.

About: Having and taking care of animals has always been a big part of my life and heart. If I could, I’d own a HUGE rescue and love them all with my heart! About: I’ve always been around dogs all my life, I’ve always watched my family and friends pups when there away, I’ve watched the smallest dogs to the largest and love them all the same! About: I was fortunate to spend 4 years at Pennsylvania State University experiencing and learning companion and exotic animal: care, nutrition and behavior. Since graduation I have worked 2 and 1/2 years as a veterinarian’s assistant and receptionist, which has given me great experiences. About: I personally have a German Shepard and a Chiweenie at home so I have experience with both big and small dogs. I usually take care of my parents dachshunds when needed. About: I’ve been taking care of my 15 year old dog since she was 8 weeks old! She now needs a lot more potty breaks than before, requires medication occasionally and waits for me to give her massages after waking up because her arthritis is worse in the morning! As you can see she needs extra catering to since she has gotten older. She is spoiled and cuddly and I love every second of it! I’m a social worker who does “home visits” for children during the day. My job is community based therefore it gives me more flexibility with my daily schedule. I think mental health is important therefore I believe in daily walks for myself! About: I have always loved dogs, and since I don’t have one myself I would to help others take care of /love on their dog. I have experience taking care of neighbors dogs and staying overnight at coworkers places to ensure the best care for their dog! I love really any type of dog :) whether they are athletic and want to get up to play all day, or want to cuddle on the couch I’ll there for it!
