Retired from my chosen career path now full-time homemaker. I currently watch our two pups and we would love a new friend to play with! I have a nice, big fenced backyard, and a fenced in front porch. My current dogs go out about every 2-3 hours during the day, but I can adhere to your dogs schedule if different. “Jon was exceptionally accommodating to make the process as easy as possible for us. We were traveling from out of town for my son to have major surgery with an overnight stay. I realized the night before, around 9pm that my son had not made plans for his dog. Jon confirmed a booking for us less than an hour later, the night before our booking. He met us in the morning at the hospital to get Max. He brought Max to the hospital when my son was discharged the next day. Max immediately was comfortable with Jon, and photo updates showed a happy dog. Jon stayed in touch via text as necessary. He also reassured us that we need not worry about Rex should there be any unexpected need for my son to stay in hospital additional nights. He offered to trim Max’s overgrown nails, which was something I was happy to have done. Max appeared to be comfortable with him when they met us to go home, so I believe he approved of Jon’s care…he doesn’t really talk much, but his body language and face are expressive. I would definitely book Max or my own dog with Jon should we need pet care in the Cincinnati area.”

About: My rates are flexible, I charge an extra fee per dog and for puppy’s under 1yr and for dogs bigger than 80lbs. And if you have multiple dogs and want them walked separately I will also charge an extra fee. I have owned several dogs and other animals. I was in 4-H and FFA. I have dog sat and have loved it. I’ve also helped friend’s and neighbors take care of their pets also so I thought this would be a good fit for me. About: I've taken care of dogs and cats of all kinds and ages since I can remember. We had cats growing up and they were the light of my life. Every day I looked forward to coming home and knowing they would be there waiting for me to give them all the love. Starting in high school is when I began to get familiar with dogs as well. Neighbors, friends, and family have all taught me so much and then began relying on me to love and care for their fur babies. Which included anywhere from walking, feeding, grooming, and overall well-being. I've done quite a bit of house sitting recently and have no problem with cleaning when needed as well. I'll be able to create a schedule that works well for school and being able to give the best attention I can to pet care. Currently I am able to care for pets at the client's home if it is for dogs. For cats special arrangements can be made for me to watch them here at my home. I have quite a bit of experience with house/pet sitting for current clients. Starting with a visit to the clients home to go over anything they would like to discuss, meeting the pets, and I also bring some questions of my own. To make sure I have all my bases covered. My main goal is to make sure the clients feel safe with me taking care of not only their pets but also their home. For cats here I have plenty of room for a cat to roam and play with plenty of sunlight and a cat box and food/water bowls if the client does not want to transport their own. We do have an older husky (incredibly friendly and quiet), but my room is on the second floor and has a door that I can shut to keep the downstairs (where our dog spends 99% of his time) closed off if your cat does not like dogs.

Nonetheless, I always do slow introductions to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable. If needed, I can crate or provide separate spaces for rest and decompression. Inside my home, I maintain a clean, structured environment with plenty of space for play and relaxation. I closely monitor interactions, follow feeding instructions carefully, and stick to your dog’s routine as closely as possible so they maintain some sense of routine while being away from home.

“Jon was exceptionally accommodating to make the process as easy as possible for us. We were traveling from out of town for my son to have major surgery with an overnight stay. I realized the night before, around 9pm that my son had not made plans for his dog. Jon confirmed a booking for us less than an hour later, the night before our booking. He met us in the morning at the hospital to get Max. He brought Max to the hospital when my son was discharged the next day. Max immediately was comfortable with Jon, and photo updates showed a happy dog. Jon stayed in touch via text as necessary. He also reassured us that we need not worry about Rex should there be any unexpected need for my son to stay in hospital additional nights. He offered to trim Max’s overgrown nails, which was something I was happy to have done. Max appeared to be comfortable with him when they met us to go home, so I believe he approved of Jon’s care…he doesn’t really talk much, but his body language and face are expressive. I would definitely book Max or my own dog with Jon should we need pet care in the Cincinnati area.”

Home sitting: I will spend the day there then return to my home at night and come back in the morning. Drop in visits: I will drop in 1-3 times a day let your fur baby out play with him/her and give them love/ affection that you would give them if you were there.
