About: I have always had pets of all kinds growing up along with much love for all wildlife. Currently I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 fish and many snails, and a lot of plants! My dog growing up became diabetic (also blind) and I provided him supportive care for the remaining 5 years he had (including special meals and insulin shots)! One of my cats was a bottle baby after finding her on the side of the road at only 3 weeks old, she is now almost 2. About: I have experience with dogs, cats, bunnies, and birds. Some of the specialized care I have done is both dog and bunnies post spay surgery and senior dog care. About: I can sit and board during any holiday! I am new to the site, so that is why I do not have any reviews. I try to respond in less than thirty minutes. In the evening, I usually respond within a few minutes. I walk on a daily basis personally and am used to taking dogs on walks at least a few times a day. I have worked with all different breeds and do my research on breed specifications before taking care of any animal. I have helped taken care of animals that have to receive oral and injections daily. I have taken care of all ages of animals from babies to seniors. I have owned dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, and rabbits. I currently do not own any animals, so that I can focus on your pets. I do usually send updates/pictures during the time your pet is with me, so that you know how they are doing I work as a nurse full time Monday through Friday. I started work usually no earlier than 745 am and am done no later than 5 pm. I have an hour long lunch break. I board on weekends so that I can be with your animal 24/7. I can dog sit throughout the week and dogs will receive a morning and evening walk as well as a lot of love and affection. I can do dog walking in the evening and if you live in the Fairlawn/Montrose area, I can do drop in visits between 12 pm-1 pm. I keep my availability up to date on this calendar as well. I live in a two bedroom apartment, but I live near a dog park I can take them to and can take them out every hour or two during the weekend if the board with me. I would take them on at least one walk minimum whether staying at my apartment or taking care of them at yours. The walks can vary from an half an hour to an hour or more depending on the dog and how your dog is feeling. I always ask their feeding schedule and an dietary restrictions. At my home, I have intellectual toys as well as just typical toys. If allowed, dogs and cats are more than welcome to sleep in bed with me. I allow animals on my furniture and have locks on cabinets to ensure they cannot get anything to harm them. I keep treats and food at my apartment. For walks, I have a hands free leash that goes around waist, so that way there is not a chance that the leash slips out of my hands.

“Connie is a dog whisperer! This was the first time Connie cared for my dogs, and I knew as soon as I met Connie that they were in capable hands. On our meet and greet, Connie gave the dogs and I a tour of her basement which is a great space for pets as the walk-out opens to a beautiful fenced in wooded lot. Connie also has large crates inside and dog runs outside, basically many different options depending on the dogs' needs. Connie is a dog groomer and trainer, and she works in this space, so my dogs often were around her, which I know they loved. I will definitely ask Connie to watch my pets, Ethel and Tawnee, again.
