But from the time we did a "meet and greet" with her, we immediately felt at ease. His stay with her was wonderful! We received lots of photos and videos and we could tell that he was relaxed and not stressed. She provided plenty of love, attention, and enrichment times. Our dog ran away from my sisters house last March vacation (got her back after 4 days in the wild) so we were a bit nervous leaving her with anyone for fear she might escape again. Brandon assured us he would always keep Skyler on a leash and be vigilant about keeping doors shut and not letting her escape. Skyler spend 8 days with Brandon and everything went great! We received daily pics and notes which gave us peace that she was well cared for and safe. Brandon even let us meet with him TWICE at no charge for an hour to let Skyler get to know him including 45 min where I left and came back to get her while he took her on a walk in the neighborhood. Brandon gave Skyler her seizure pills daily and Skyler came home happy and healthy. Cannot recommend Brandon enough, this guy really cares about our dog as much as we do. We will use him again.”

About: I've been around animals since I was very young and love all of them. They are part of my family and will be treated as such while they're with me. I enjoy going on walks and keeping pets happy and entertained. I believe it's very important to know your fur babies will be in great hands when boarding with me. My beloved dog Mario is no longer with me; he lived for 13 wonderful years and was the best dog anyone could ask for. I haven't been able to get another one since then. Watching and caring for other pets makes me happy and brings me joy. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week. Working from Home is a blessing and has given me the flexibility to care for others pets. I have experience with caring for sick pets including giving fluids to cat with an IV drip bag, handled emergencies, had a diabetic cat that I gave insulin shots and have a physically disabled cat. I have owned snakes, scorpions, jumping spiders, hermit crabs, Guinea pigs, cats, dogs, fish, birds (I also babysat my friends African grey parrot for a year). “Absolutely ZERO complaints or issues with Nicole. She watched our cat for a week during a recent vacation. My wife and I are super early risers. Typically waking up around 3am. We got lucky with Nicole, she has a similar schedule and was able to feed our cat early mornings consistent with our daily feedings. Our meet & greet was great as well. We have never used Rover and were really unsure what to expect. Nicole answered questions via messaging before scheduling a meet. A few hours before our scheduled time, Nicole reached out to confirm our appointment. Nicole asked many questions about our cat, home, plants etc. Asked if she should shovel snow, water plants, take garbage to curb etc. Nicole really put my wife and I at ease after talking with her. Nicole gave us great report cards with her daily check-ins. Always received multiple pics of our cat in our home. We are new cat owners and were nervous on what to expect. When we travel in the future, and will not be able to bring our pets with us, we will definitely rebook with Nicole. All said, Nicole is a great reflection of Rover and what they offer pet owners. If your dog is a senior or a puppy, then their play schedule will be adjusted according to their activity level. I will keep your dog on a leash while playing in our back yard, since the entire five acres is not fenced, unless you specifically tell me that it's okay to take them off the leash to play ball. At your home, I will follow whatever protocol you have in place, whether that be leashed walks or unleashed play in your yard.

I especially have a lot of experience dealing with scared or anxious dogs, this is because all of my pets are rescued from bad situations so I have learned over time how to read their body language and act exactly how they need to be comfortable. I am very available during the summer months so if you reach out I am more than sure that I will be able to work something out with you! For dog walking if there is a neighborhood I will happily walk your dog in that neighborhood. However if it is not available I have my car set up to keep your dog safe in the backseat, granted that theyre ok being in a car, this way I can take your dog to a nearby park to walk. I always bring anything and everything your dog could need on a short walk such as a water bowl, bags, extra leashes, and treats.
About: I currently have a 4 year old mini Australian shepherd. My experience includes watching a puppy overnight, helping train a deaf dog, and taking neighbors dogs on walks. I am a teacher so I am available all of June-August to provide all day care for dogs or just walk dogs during the day. I work at a veterinary practice part time on Wednesdays and Fridays and I generally start early in the morning around 7, and it’s a 40 minute drive. My hours can vary but I’m usually done sometime before 4pm. I can do drop by visits on those days early in the morning and after 5pm. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, I can do dog walking, dog sitting, or doggy day care at my house! Anything that generally takes a decent amount of time I can do on those days. On the weekends, I can do house visits for 30 minutes to an hour, but I would like to keep my weekends open as much as possible to spend time with friends and family and go to the barn. I have my own cat as well as 4 other cats, an english bulldog, and a french bulldog owned by my boyfriend’s family that I live with. I generally feed and take care of my cats and the other cats, but I used to pet sit for them and took care of their dogs as well. As far as caring for animals in my own home, I live on 8 acres of land, some of which is a field blocked off by tree line that would be a perfect place to play. I also have a fenced in concrete and grass area for the dogs to use the restroom. I have crates in my house where I can separate dogs if needed. I also know of lots of places to walk dogs, and live by a couple of dog parks. As for care in a clients home, I have lots of experience. I can do litter boxes, feed and water animals, and give enrichment and treats if requested by the owner. I can also let dogs outside on leash, or in a fenced in backyard. I’d rather be safe than sorry, so I avoid taking a dog off leash if they do not have a fenced in or secluded area. I can take them on walks around your neighborhood as well. I am also willing to take care of exotic animals or livestock, as I have plenty of background in that as well.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages since I was 18 years old. I had an elder dog that I had to put down recently and I love them so much! Happy to help with any medications or injections that are needed. Just would need a refresher in the injections. If you have any questions or would like to know more about me and my family please don't hesitate to ask. I am available all day most days. I am home 24/7. Outside of just running errands. I have 1 dog and 1 cat that I already take care of daily. So adding on a couple more doesn't hurt. Your pets have free range of the house as long as they are well mannered. My backyard is fenced with a 6ft privacy fence. My cat and dog are both on vectra for flea treatment. They are welcome anywhere in my house.
