I’ve had a pet dog for a great amount of my life as well as other animals like rabbits, fish and snakes! Size or age doesn't matter, they are all fun. About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dogs whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Tuesday and Thursday are the two days I have a class and I'm always home after that! The class is only 2 hours long so any guest pets won't be alone very long at all. I'm home all day every day otherwise! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.
About: I have fostered over 70 animals the past four alyears. Puppies, adult dogs kittens and cats. Also bunnies and guinea pigs! I have tons of experience with house training and crate training puppies. I volunteer at our local animal shelter weekly and have developed a strong bond with the rescue community. I also have experience administering medication. During the past two years I have met many animals , all with a different type of personality. I have been able to adapt and learn how to handle each unique personality. My time as a foster and shelter volunteer has really showed me what my true passion is! My schedule is very flexible and I'm usually able to accommodate last minute requests. Unless I have another client , my schedule is almost always open. I volunteer at the shelters on Tuesday mornings but I can always rearrange my volunteer days. My home is fenced in and I have crates for my own dogs, also extra crates for your dogs. My dogs have multiple play styles so I can adapt to just about any personality. I only ask that if your dogs are boarding in my home they are animal and kid friendly. If you're nervous about your dogs being around dogs you don't know, I understand. I can easily rotate the dogs time so they never even have to interact, as I have baby gates to keep them separated. I have a big fenced in yard so your dog will get plenty of play time. If you want boarding in your home I can do that too. I can provide plenty of love and play for them. Whatever you are comfortable with in your home just let me know! I also always will send tons of pictures. If you have puppies I can absolutely help with potty and also crate training if they aren't crate trained yet.

About: I’ve had animals in my home since I was born! Currently I have a dog and two cats of my own. I’ve been around and cared for animals of all sizes and breeds. I have a cat now that needs to take oral medication daily so I have experience there, and work from home so I’m fairly flexible on how I can care for your babies while you are away! I work from home, and at a restaurant on the weekends. So my availability is very flexible. I take my dog out every few hours to walk and smell around the neighborhood. I’m very active so if you have an active pet that’s great! But I can also take it slow if that’s what your senior baby needs. My dog is always leashes when outside for her safety as I do not have a fenced in yard. We walk on the sidewalks and always look out for traffic and other dogs!

As a prior dog owner, I am well-positioned to take care of small and medium-sized dogs who need some extra care during the day. About: Although I currently have two pets of my own, I can’t get enough of animals. Therefore, spending time with other pets warms my heart endlessly. I have two cats that require lots of attention and love. They have separate feeding times and amounts, have multiple litter boxes, and need frequent brushings. One cat has urinary tract issues and sometimes has accidents that have to be cleaned up multiple times a day. They also enjoy being chased as a form of exercise, as well as “hunting” for their toys. My one cat is allowed outside only if he is being held or is in his harness. The other cat does not go outside. I live very close to a road so I do not like the idea of letting my cats out on their own.

“I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”
