“Rikki and her family were excellent!! It was our first time boarding our 10 month old pup Luna, so we were nervous (and a bit high maintenance), but she put us at ease and was very communicative. Luna stayed about two full days and nights with Rikki. We met Rikki, her small kids, and other pups (two own, two other Rovers) at drop off — everyone was wonderful. They all spent tons of time outside with Luna, which is exactly what we wanted for her. Luna and the pups played around as soon as we got there, and based on Rikki’s pics/messages, that’s most of what they did for the two days. We came by to walk Luna after the first overnight, thinking she might have some separation anxiety, but Luna was happily tail wagging from the puppy party. Overnight, Luna slept in the bed with Rikki and her sweet daughter — again exactly what we hoped for. When we picked Luna up, she was happy as ever - thrilled to see us, but also seemed a bit torn to leave her new friends behind. Such is life. Perfect, sweet family for an energetic sweet pup that is good with social situations. Will absolutely come back to Rikki if we have another boarding need while in town.”

About: I have done drop in and overnight care for family member's pets for many years. I am a life long animal lover and have cats and/or dogs my whole life. I also did some volunteer care at an animal shelter while in college. I am a stay at home mom of three (9, 7, and 5 year olds) kids who also love animals so I have the availability to provide a lot of time and attention. I have a fenced in yard in a beautiful country setting and two playmates for your pup. Robin is 13 year old chocolate lab mix, who we rescued from the roadside. She gave birth to 8 puppies about 2 months later and we were able to find loving homes for them all. We also have Emmett, who is a shepherd/spaniel mix that we adopted as a puppy during covid. He can be shy around new people, but loves to play with any dog he has met.

About: I have been around animals of all kinds and sizes my whole life. I have been raised to love and care for pets. I am attentive to their needs and love dedicating time—including play time—toward them. I have provided pet sotting services both in my home and in other homes, have administrated medications for my clients, and have performed nail trimmings and baths to keep pets looking their best. I am also good with walking dogs and teaching them tricks. I have taken care of senior pets. I am patient, kind, and respectful of all breeds. As someone who works from home, I am usually always with my pets! I wake up around 8am and serve breakfast. Lunch is at 1pm and dinner at 6pm with a treat and plenty of potty breaks in between. About: We have always had pets of all sorts growing up so I am very accustomed to pet care! I have dog sat many times in my teen years. My husband and I got married in 2020 and now have a daughter of our own! We live on an 12 acre hobby farm with cows and chickens. About: I come from an animal-loving family and have either owned or looked after any personality a dog could possibly have! Big ones, small ones, needy ones, naughty ones, nervous ones, old ones, lazy ones, you name it! I pride myself on being “that person” that dogs naturally gravitate towards (it runs in the family). My family recently lost the last of our 3 dogs (our 15 year old Puggle), so I am equipped for even the old guys & gals too! Your dog will not just be cared for, they will be spoiled and loved on as my own. I know how hard it is to trust a stranger with your baby, and Ive got you! I'll do anything your dog (or YOU) requires to be more comfortable. Even if you want to FaceTime your dog while you’re away...I won’t judge :). I know boarding places can be scary and stressful for a lot of dogs, and my goal is to provide a reliable, safe, peaceful, fun, and loving environment while you are away. PLEASE READ :) Due to the fact that I have 2 small children, I cannot under any circumstances accept: -Dogs that have never been around children -Dogs that have any specific aggression (towards food, toys, other dogs, etc.) -Pit Bulls/Rottweilers. I realize this is controversial and maybe even unfair, and If I didn’t have small children this would not be an issue, but my kids come first and I have to be selective to protect them. Being that we are caring for dogs we have never met, I cannot take the risk for breeds that could possibly do extensively harmful damage to them in a worst case scenario situation. Again, I love all dogs/breeds and realize these breeds are normally the sweetest dogs, I am just mitigating any and all risk as a protective Mama. I am currently a stay-at-home Mom! I am home every day with the occasional runs to drop my son off at preschool, or attend my own appointments that come up/occasional errands. Although I am home most of the day, I cannot accept dogs that have separation anxiety, as I do have weekly errands/school drop offs/grocery pickups etc. that take me away from the home for a small amount of time. I live in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. I have a partially fenced in yard, but I would not be taking any dogs out without a leash. My back yard is hidden away from the main street and is great for taking dogs out. Rest assured they will have lots of potty breaks and sniffing outside breaks. We are pretty chill here! Once the weather warms up, walks are definitely in the daily schedule if wanted/needed... or just some sunbathing outside for the dogs who love a nap in the sunshine.
