“We never have to worry when Tommy is at his home away from home. I know that I can leave him and he will be loved as though he were with me. We always appreciate the pictures and little notes. This stay was unique in that I had to contact Kathy and request to extend Tommy's stay because of a family member's health. Kathy was so accommodating and without hesitation kept Tommy two extra days. Tommy is already looking forward to his next "vacation"! Five stars is not enough!!!”

“Absolutely ZERO complaints or issues with Nicole. She watched our cat for a week during a recent vacation. My wife and I are super early risers. Typically waking up around 3am. We got lucky with Nicole, she has a similar schedule and was able to feed our cat early mornings consistent with our daily feedings. Our meet & greet was great as well. We have never used Rover and were really unsure what to expect. Nicole answered questions via messaging before scheduling a meet. A few hours before our scheduled time, Nicole reached out to confirm our appointment. Nicole asked many questions about our cat, home, plants etc. Asked if she should shovel snow, water plants, take garbage to curb etc. Nicole really put my wife and I at ease after talking with her. Nicole gave us great report cards with her daily check-ins. Always received multiple pics of our cat in our home. We are new cat owners and were nervous on what to expect. I have a very sweet dog of my own (his name is Cooper and he gets along very well with other dogs, if your dog ever likes playing/walking with other dogs). He is full of energy, so I am used to long walks and lots of play time. I am also willing to run with your dog if you want / if they enjoy that! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since i had my first dog in the first grade. A white Samoyed. When she was 3 she has 7 puppies! I was obsessed with them. We sold 6 and kept one. So we had 2 big white Samoyed’s that I had the responsibility of raising and attending to. They were my whole world. I’m always the first to be asked to watch someone’s dog because if there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s loving on dogs. I now have a mini dachshund who i love so much. I have experience with puppies, big dogs, little dogs, and senior dogs. I’m able to train puppies and care for senior dogs who would need more help in their day to day activities such as meds, frequent potty breaks, and patience. I also had an internship with the lake humane society in high school and have a special place in my heart for rescue dogs/cats who could use some extra love. I am currently a stay at home mom with my 8 year old who is in school and 1 year old who both love dogs I figured i could help out some dog momma or daddies who aren’t able to be home with them all day. I am able to let your dog out every couple hours. And even take them for brief walks. We have plenty of dog toys to share, bully sticks (while supervised), treats, and extra dog bowls if needed. My husband is a realtor so is home most of the time if i am not. I crate our dog at home when we leave. I also have a camera just in case to make sure she’s okay while we’re gone. We moved so we don’t have a fenced in yard anymore. But had leads if they want to stay outside for a longer period of time. I also live next to my parents who have a fenced in yard where i could take them if you feel more comfortable with that.

I can crate them at night if that is part of their schedule or they can push me off the bed in the middle of the night. Here is your solution.... the LOCAL PET TAXI is at your service! The Pet Taxi cost is $60 round trip with a max distance of 20 miles from my residence. If over 20 miles away, then the cost is $80. $5 additional per pet, please. I am located in Lake County and look forward to checking in or transporting your beloved pet to wherever they need to go! "Check-In" [Drop-In] Visits I stop by my client's home while they're away a few times a day (Usually 3-4X is most common) for 30-45 minutes each time to feed, take out to potty, and play with their pets. The fee for check-ins run between $18-20 a visit, depending on the distance and the amount of times needed, holiday rates, number of pets, etc. Overnight sitting in your home is at a higher rate and dependent on scheduling availability. About: I've been around animals since I was very young and love all of them. They are part of my family and will be treated as such while they're with me. I enjoy going on walks and keeping pets happy and entertained. I believe it's very important to know your fur babies will be in great hands when boarding with me. My beloved dog Mario is no longer with me; he lived for 13 wonderful years and was the best dog anyone could ask for. I haven't been able to get another one since then. Watching and caring for other pets makes me happy and brings me joy. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week. Working from Home is a blessing and has given me the flexibility to care for others pets. I do not have a fenced yard, but I live in a development that gives me plenty of opportunities to go for walks. As long as they come with a leash we will be walking.

About: I have been taking care of dogs ever since I was old enough to. I grew up with German Shepherds and have spent years training, loving, and looking after them. Beyond my own pets, I’ve also cared for the animals of friends and neighbors. I’ve been around animals my whole life, and giving them love and attention has always come naturally to me. Pet care is my full-time focus right now, so I have plenty of availability to give your pets the time, attention, and care they deserve! I have a large yard where dogs can enjoy outdoor time with plenty of space to roam. For safety, I use a secure tie-out stake and lead, so your pet can play while staying within a safe area under my supervision. Pets stay indoors overnight in a cozy, clean environment where they’ll feel safe, loved, and cared for like family!

About: My genuine passion for animals and my lifelong dream about having my own dogs finally came true when I welcomed my own pups into my family. I have firsthand experience with the daily care, attention and patience that pets need to thrive. My genuine passion for animals and my lifelong dream about having my own dogs finally came true when I welcomed my own pups into my family. Beyond caring for my own dogs, I volunteer with a local animal shelter for a “Dogs Day Out” program where I take shelter dogs on outside to provide socialization, exercise and enrichment. These experiences alone have strengthened my understanding of dogs with many personalities and needs, allowing me to provide compassionate, attentive, and reliable care for every pet I get to meet. :) I work in the emergency department, so my schedule varies, but my partner and I live together so generally when I am not home he is there, and vice versa. When I’m not at work, I will spend all my time with your pet, taking them on walks, to dog parks, to get pup cups, etc, whatever you as the owner allow or prefer! I have a fenced in yard at my home, so dogs can be off leash to exercise, use the potty, and play time. During their stay in my home, they are welcome to be free roaming, not in crates, unless owners would prefer crates.
