About: I've had dogs growing up, five of them being German shepherds and the other four being a lab and two mutts and a dachshund, and we've had tons of cats. We currently have two German shepherds and I walk them a ton and I spend a lot of time taking care of them, and then we have a dachshund who I just rescued from the place I work at. The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! I really loves my job, it means a lot to me I get to be in that environment and I'm depended on to keep them all safe and happy. And I am a second year student at Muskingum University, I am majoring in Animal Studies in hopes of having an animal conservation related job. I'm a college student and normally drop in between classes and have the rest of the day to tend to pet's. During the summer I am usually employed and work around my schedule At home I spend time walking the dogs mostly and hanging around the house with them. About: I have owned and loved an adorable mini pinscher who passed away in January, 2019 at age 13...a number of cats who lived long lives as well... I currently have one female cat around 5 years old and her male kitten who is 3.5... I also have a leapord gecko (in aquarium)... About: I grew up with dogs and cats when I was younger plus I also watched my mother in laws dogs a few times while she went on vacation. I enjoy playing with them. I'm a caring, kind, loving person I love both animals and people. I believe animals should be treated with love and kindness because they are part of the family. I work part time using another app called pappa pals. It's an app.that helps take care of and assist people in their homes and I do that when I want to too plus I volunteer part time for a program called respite helping and assisting people with mental illness and keeping them company. About: Being around dogs is second nature to me, my family has always had furbabies. I treat every animal with compassion. A gentle hand can go a long way. I love dogs and have a great ability to handle them with kindness. I can handle little to big dogs, my own dog is 100lbs.
