About: I've had dogs growing up, five of them being German shepherds and the other four being a lab and two mutts and a dachshund, and we've had tons of cats. We currently have two German shepherds and I walk them a ton and I spend a lot of time taking care of them, and then we have a dachshund who I just rescued from the place I work at. The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! I really loves my job, it means a lot to me I get to be in that environment and I'm depended on to keep them all safe and happy. And I am a second year student at Muskingum University, I am majoring in Animal Studies in hopes of having an animal conservation related job. About: I am back from home after graduating with a Masters this summer, so I am excited to come home and go back to dog sitting, what I’ve done since I was in high school! My dog Sammy is always so excited when we go home because she gets to meet new pup friends, and we both love having more dogs around to play with. Sammy is just about the nicest dog you'll ever meet. I've had dogs my whole life, and I love taking care of all animals, rowdy or calm! We have a huge yard (and a very tall fence, so no need to worry if anybody can jump over it!) that we can run in all day, and when we're all tired, we lounge on the couch and relax. Sammy and I take daily walks, and sometimes walk twice a day, which your animal can join in on as well. I take care of pets like they're my own, I just love them so much! My house will be like a home away from home for your pet. I am home working on writing and grading all day for my winter break so I am home the entire day to care for your pup. I will play or snuggle with the pets based on their energy and preferences! They will get treats as often as you tell me to give them (I know some pups are on a diet so I will wait for you to say if it’s okay to give any treats). About: I’ve had 2+ dogs in my entire life. In my adult life I’ve had 2+ service dogs that travel with me. I am a critical care nurse who has taken pet CPR as far as safety. I have emergency meds as well. Luckily, I have a house with a fences in yard, animal friendly household with spare rooms and a heated/cooled garage/closed/secured garage for any kind of special separation needs (in heat/aggressive breeds/outside animals, etc). Currently off enjoying a break from work, .. . So as of now, my schedule is very flexible. My household/fenced backyard/garage, is sectioned off pretty nicely. So, I have a very flexible availability overall. I am very positive I can meet most requests/needs for boarding/grooming/daycare/etc. So just let me know! I have been walking dogs as a side job but I’m working to build a bigger clientele. Currently in college and I have morning classes from 8:30-11:30 Monday through Thursday. I already walk dogs once a week but I am hoping to get more work as I’m working to make this my main job. I baby my pets a lot they are very spoiled and I will treat yours the same! My dog gets walked twice a day and is very pampered with regular grooming. Everyone will be fed. I have treats, toys, leashes, a special dog monitor for if I do have an overnight on a day I have to work. I do have an extra crate if you feel your dog needs crated. If your animal requires special treatment such as medication I will need something written out for that such as name of medication time taken etc. I care for every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a slower pace, I will tailor their care to their individual needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to provide a stress-free experience while you’re away. I understand that every pet is unique, and I am committed to providing compassionate, reliable care that gives owners peace of mind. BOARDING REQUIREMENTS Before booking, I ask that all dogs be up-to-date on their vaccines and current on flea and tick prevention. Please make sure your dog’s Rover profile is fully completed so I can provide the best care possible. For everyone’s safety, I only accept dogs that are friendly and do well around other dogs. If your dog is selective, reactive, or has shown aggression toward other animals, my home may not be the best fit. For your dog’s stay, please bring their food, vaccination records, and any medications they may need along with clear instructions. If your dog requires a crate for sleeping or when left alone, please bring one, as I do not currently provide crates. You’re welcome to bring a favorite bed or blanket to help your dog feel more at home, although I have plenty of beds and blankets available. You do not need to bring bowls unless your dog uses a slow feeder or a special bowl. I recommend leaving favorite toys or valuable items at home. Dogs love to play, and toys can sometimes get worn out or misplaced. Don’t worry though—I have plenty of toys and enrichment activities to keep everyone entertained! My goal is to make your dog’s stay as safe, comfortable, and fun as possible while giving you peace of mind when you’re away. I work from home, which allows me to provide flexible scheduling, frequent potty breaks, regular supervision, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Because I am home most of the time, pets receive companionship, exercise, and care tailored to their individual needs and routines. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal as if they were my own and take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and any special needs. I provide a calm, loving environment with plenty of supervision, enrichment, exercise, and affection while maintaining the safety standards and instructions provided by each owner. If your pet has temperamental issues I’m happy to crate and rotate so they have individual time and I also have a building for boarding.
