About: I've had dogs growing up, five of them being German shepherds and the other four being a lab and two mutts and a dachshund, and we've had tons of cats. We currently have two German shepherds and I walk them a ton and I spend a lot of time taking care of them, and then we have a dachshund who I just rescued from the place I work at. The place I worked at does dog boarding/daycare/training. I was a kennel tech so I just took care of all the boarding and daycare doggies. And on the weekends I also took care of all the training dogs when/if the trainers were away. I worked there for over year and loved it, only leaving because I started college and moved away. I have had to deal with so many different dogs and their personalities and I've definitely learned to have a ton of patience with the job. I have been working in general since I was 14. I started at some neighbouring farms, doing farm work so I could ride their horses and earn some money. I then did a couple restaurant jobs and then found the place I currently work at. I have done dog sitting and cat sitting before many times, sometimes for family or friends of family who I don't know but I am happy to help out. The most I have dealt with at one time was seven dogs in total. I have watched people's dogs get trained while at work and I have been trained to use an e-collar and a prong collar so I am able to use those correctly! I really loves my job, it means a lot to me I get to be in that environment and I'm depended on to keep them all safe and happy. And I am a second year student at Muskingum University, I am majoring in Animal Studies in hopes of having an animal conservation related job. I was worried she wouldn’t want to come home because she was loving it so much! Ava seemed to fit right in with the pack as well as feel right at home with them. “Melissa was an amazing dog sitter! She was very flexible with our schedule and responded right away when I reached out looking for someone to watch Bruno. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and she kept me updated with photos while we were away, which gave us so much peace of mind. Bruno also had a great time playing with her dog—they got along wonderfully! It was obvious he was well cared for and comfortable during his stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Melissa again, and she’ll definitely be one of my first choices the next time we need a dog sitter. Highly recommend!”
“I was a little nervous to leave my dog with a stranger but Corey proved to be a kind and considerate person who truely likes dogs. I liked the fact that he was calm and helpful with my "thinks she's a princess" little dog. Communication was great and he has floors without rugs. I will definitely ask for him again.”
