About: While I love all animals, cats definitely have a soft spot in my heart. I love going around the neighborhood and feeding the stray cats, and even bringing those in who don’t have a home. I also have had a few amazing family cats growing up. I have experience in sitting for cats and all the responsibilities included, like changing litter, administering medication, making sure food and water are both clean/restocked and of course playtime!

About: I have always been around dogs but have not found my furever friend yet. I enjoy volunteering at animal shelters and watching dogs for friends and coworkers. Hello! As a teacher, I am available after school around 4pm and all the time on the weekends. I enjoy drop ins, walks, and overnight stays. In clients homes & my own, I ensure that the dog has ample human interaction time. I live in an apartment and prefer to watch animals in their own home but they are welcome in my own. It’s a busy time for my sons activities so it’s not a good time to bring a full time dog into our home at this time but would love to help others out. “I was coming to a Dayton Ohio for work and I was bringing my mini golden doodle pup along. I needed someone trustworthy to watch my baby boy, Arlo. I came across Katherine’s profile and immediately had that instinct that she was the one 😊 she was accommodating to my over protective mommy needs and agreed to hop on a zoom call with me beforehand. She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. About: I have cared for dogs for about 9 years now. Anywhere from my own dogs to family or friends. I have always loved dogs. I occasionally do fundraisers for local shelters to show my support. Your dog is guaranteed to be well taken care of, some may even say spoiled, at my house. I even have my own furry friend to keep them company & worn out. I currently am on leave from work until the end of June, leaving me home 24 hours a day and 7 days a week! Meaning ultimate snuggle time and plenty of hanging out with the doggos. I have unlimited water available for dogs whenever they need. My backyard has a 4-foot tall chain link fence , perfect for dogs to run around and play in as much as they want. My house is very dog friendly—dogs are allowed on the furniture and in any room they please. While I do have a 2 year old daughter at home, I am very consistent with teaching her to leave the dogs alone , even our own. Dogs should have personal space , and a break when needed. Also, your dog MUST be friendly with young children, I do take my own precautions but having a patient/friendly dog is the start.
About: I’ve always been exceptionally empathetic towards animals, and I’d like your pets to feel as if they’re on vacation when they’re with me. When I first started rover, an owner saw how well I cared for their dogs, and they became like my second family during college. I still visit after moving away. I saved a client dog recently when I recognized she had eaten one of her toys before coming to stay with me. I rushed her to have emergency surgery and then cared for her after surgery until her parents arrived back from their cruise. I am all about pet care. I am home daily with the exception of a couple varied hours to go out to walk or train dogs. I have 5 fully fenced acres, with a secure fenced backyard just for dogs. About: Hi! I've taken care of animals for about 40 years. I had horses growing up, then my kids got into 4h and I've help raise chicken, turkeys, pigs, and dairy feeders. I've also had numerous big dogs that have lived to be anywhere from 10 to 14 years. Animals have a special place in my heart, they become more than pets, they become family and I intend to treat and care for them as such. I will be starting classes again soon, which are online so pet care fits perfectly into my daily/weekly routine. I'll be able to create a schedule that works well for school and being able to give the best attention I can to pet care. Currently I am able to care for pets at the client's home if it is for dogs. For cats special arrangements can be made for me to watch them here at my home. I have quite a bit of experience with house/pet sitting for current clients. Starting with a visit to the clients home to go over anything they would like to discuss, meeting the pets, and I also bring some questions of my own. To make sure I have all my bases covered. My main goal is to make sure the clients feel safe with me taking care of not only their pets but also their home. For cats here I have plenty of room for a cat to roam and play with plenty of sunlight and a cat box and food/water bowls if the client does not want to transport their own. We do have an older husky (incredibly friendly and quiet), but my room is on the second floor and has a door that I can shut to keep the downstairs (where our dog spends 99% of his time) closed off if your cat does not like dogs.

About: Ever since I was a child, I was responsible for the care of a variety of animals, and I mean solely responsible. Growing up (and today), I was the one that friends and family came to for pet sitters and care/training advice. I prioritize following pet care instructions to a tee- I do not cut corners on even the most “meticulous” of care instructions. With me, you can trust that your fur babies will receive the highest quality of care and attention because of my intrinsic love for animals. I do this because I love it, not for the money. Currently, I am a dog walker for three dogs, but I would love the opportunity to care for other people’s furry family members on top of that. I am free to walk dogs Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. I am free to board dogs and cats Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I am free to check in on your furry friends at home pretty much whenever, we can work out the details further when the time comes. - For checking in on pets: When in a client’s home, I am very careful to respect their belongings and privacy. I ensure that I only get into spaces that they instruct me to. *Please be aware: I take my boyfriend with me to house visits for safety precautions, he does not meddle with anything of course, he is just there to ensure my safety (meeting with strangers on the internet is scary, lol.)* - For boarding dogs: *Please be aware: For dogs, I can only care for small puppies. Unfortunately, we have a rescue dog who is reactive to adult dogs due to trauma. But, he is gentle as can be with small puppies and any sort of cats. We also have two cats who are dog friendly, so please ensure that your pup is good with cats* Also, I have a fenced in yard and a whole house for your baby to roam. -For boarding cats: We have two cats here, and though they are fairly cat friendly, I do not intend for them to meet client cats so as to avoid unnecessary stress on my and your cats. So, cats will remain separated. Your cat will be allowed to free roam a certain level of the house for hours, then will be switched out to another level of the house for hours (all while being blocked off from the resident kitties.) Of course, constant supervision will be in place for the entirety of their stay. Your kitty will also sleep in a room with me for the night. - For dog walking: Please provide dog poop bags and, if wanted, any sort of treats you would like for the walk. I require meeting dog walking clients in public places for safety precautions. Also, please let me know of any commands, work, or quirks (chasing after animals, dog aggressive, etc.) that you’d like me to keep in mind for our walks.
About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. Sometimes I feel I understand animals better than people which helps me provide specialized one-on-one care to meets your beloved pet's needs.
