She was warm, nice and kind. It also helped she has 3 adorable little fur baby girls too. For the 4 days I was here for work she would take care of Arlo for me all day. About: Back home my family has 2 dogs, a 13 yr old chihuahua spaniel and a 5 year old pit bull. I have experience with dogs of different ages and breeds as well as house training puppies. I work as an aquatics director at a YMCA so I have the freedom to come and go from work for the most part for doggy potty breaks. I love playing with dogs and will play with dogs for hours. About: I have worked at two credible boarding/animal daycare facilities. I worked at both of these facilities for one year each. I worked with puppies, senior animals, kittens, large animals, and small animals. The first facility I worked at was connected to a vet clinic where I also gained experience. I worked with animals recovering from surgeries and animals with different emotional behaviors. I have been petsitting for 7 years. I am available to work around my class schedule to petsit and have a flexible schedule to watch your pets and care for them like they are my own! I have a six year old dog who I take for a walk 3-4 times a day when I am home from college. I love him so much and he is like my other half! About: I’ve grown up with dogs. I’ve had at least three to 7 dogs at a time in my home. As well as cats, ducks and bunnies! I have a unique ability to bond quickly with dogs, and animals. I love them. I believe God put them on earth to help to help us make it through the trials and triumphs of life. I believe all dogs are unique and have the own personality, and should be treated as such. And I will treat your dog as though they are my new friend, and hopefully will become my longtime friend. I have had senior dogs, so I am well aware of the extra care that needs to be given to these special dogs. They deserve to be treated with care and respect. I have also trained my dogs in basic commands. I will always abide by your wishes while caring for your baby. And will willing to listen to any concerns that may arise. I am currently a stay-at-home dog mom. So I have mostly open availability at this time. I’m sure this would be a excellent fit for my life!! While caring for other people’s pets, made sure to go to check on the pets many times a day. During that time, I stay and play, love on them, give treats or feed (if it’s time), play some more, and make sure they are properly tired until the next time I come back. I worry about them, honestly, as though they are my own. So I want to make sure they are happy and safe.
About: I've had dogs ever since I was 10, but my experience with them goes far beyond that. When I was a little kid, before I ever had a dog, I would go to this read with a dog program called "Paws to Read." I would spend countless hours reading to the dogs and befriending them, along with a cat or two here and there. When I was 10, I got my first dog, a husky, and gave him a wonderful life. He had quite a few medical issues and behaved older for his age because of it, so I know how to provide senior pet care. He has since passed, but my two current dogs, one pitbull and one pitsky, remind me every day how important pets are to me. I've had them both for eight years now, during which we've taken numerous car rides, walks, enjoyed outside and inside playtime, movie nights, and anything a dog could dream of. Now, while I've never had a cat because of the majority of my family being allergic, I never turn away from a cat. I'm a regular at the Gem City Catfe, where I play with the cats often and have gone so often that they are comfortable with me. I keep cat and dog treats on me in case I come across a stray, because all cats and dogs deserve to feel some love. I've also dog-sat and house-sat for a few friends before, so I know how to handle situations like pets not getting along, bathroom accidents, and being a bit of a picky eater. Currently, I am a full time student and work full time at UDRI (UD's Research Institute) from 8:30am - 3:30am. During the summer I won't be taking any in person classes, just two online. But when I return to UD for my final year, I will be taking classes again and may be slightly more limited. When it comes to my pets and caring for clients pets, the comfort of the pet is most important to me. Personally, my two dogs don't get along with each other very well, so they typically have to be separated. Even so, I always make sure to treat them both equally and give them lots of love! If I take one for a car ride and ice cream, I bring ice cream back for the other and take the other for a car ride later that week. If my client has dogs similar to mine, who need to be separated, I would be sure to treat them equally and split my time with them according to my client's requests. Given single-pet households, I'd spend a lot of my time with them! In my downtime, I'd make sure to sit with them while I work on coursework. I'd be sure to take them on walks and go for potty breaks. And of course I'd make sure we get a lot of play time in and lots of love!

I am quite familiar with various breeds and their unique traits. Some of the breeds I have cared for are as follows: Akita, American Eskimo, Australian Shepherd, Bernedoodle, Bichon Frise, Border Collie, Boxer, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Frenchie, German Shepherd, Great Dane, Greyhound, Golden Retriever, Jack Russell Terrier, Labradoodle, Labrador Retriever, Pug, Newfoundland, Rat Terrier, Rottweiler, Saint Bernard, Sheltie, Toy Poodle, Welsh Corgi. I cared quite often for a dog with congestive heart failure who needed medicine & needed monitored for his breathing & risk for fainting. I’ve also cared for blind dogs and older dogs with dementia. Some of the dogs I’ve watched take medicine or have dietary supplements and restrictions. I’ve never had any pet emergencies while pet-sitting for others, but did have to take my family dog on an emergency run in her final days which resulted in her passing from old age at 16 years. I mention this to say, if an emergency would ever arise while pet sitting- I am familiar with the process to get the dog help. I have MedVet info saved to my phone so you can rest easy knowing I am prepared for any out of the ordinary circumstances any time of day or night. I also like cats & have done cat sitting on a more rare occasion, including homes with a cat and dog, or only cats. I have lived with a cat who was very close to me in recent years so I am familiar with their behaviors and needs. I’ve also administered medication to a cat with FIV although it is a bit tricky. I currently have a very adaptable schedule and i’m currently accepting new clients and bookings at this time, although I am typically in high demand. I can walk your dog around the neighborhood or take the pet to the nearest park, if it’s during a safe time of the day and a more safe neighborhood! I am sure to give frequent bathroom breaks & always take the dog out right before bed time! I will care for your home & possessions like they are my own. I always leave the home in the same condition I arrived to or even a touch more tidy if I am house sitting.

About: I’ve taken care of multiple dogs and cats my entire adult life. I currently actively train my dogs at a local Kennel Club and specialize in deaf dog training. I currently own an embroidery shop and work part time. I work my dogs and take care of my kiddos outside of that time. I always enjoy working dogs and helping others.
