About: I have always had at least one dog in my home ever since I can remember. My parents kept me and my siblings responsible for them as far as feedings, exercise, and attention. My grandmother owns a grooming shop that I have loved to help with. I have also had experience helping in a dog kennel and taking care of cats. I also participated in training my 100+ lb. male golden doodle (who was too smart for his own good but has now passed sadly). I have always had a love for animals, dogs especially since they have been a big part of my life, I have spent a lot of time also at my grandparent’s farm helping with goats and horses as well. About: I have been around & taken care of animals almost all my life. I currently have no pets of my own I have owned a dog in the past. I have some experience walking and sitting my family members animals. I live in a fairly quiet neighborhood with a park just a few minutes away from my home. My dog, Phoebe, was diagnosed with lymphoma in October of 2025, and I helped care for her by giving her medication, bathing her, taking her on multiple walks each day, and making sure she was as comfortable as possible. She passed away in May, and I miss our daily walks and spending time with her. That experience taught me patience, compassion, and the importance of paying close attention to a pet's individual needs. I currently have three cats and regularly care for all of them. When I was nine years old, my family adopted a kitten that had been abandoned by its mother, and I helped bottle feed and care for him, giving me experience with very young kittens as well. They went on lots of long walks, played in the great big backyard and chased squirrels. I am so grateful to Amber for taking such good care of our girl. I would highly recommend Amber. Goldie was really spoiled in her stay, we also ran into a delay in our trip and Lydia was awesome and understanding. I totally recommend her for sitting your dog!!”
