About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl and that has been many many years ago. I have also worked as an animal tech and research assistant where I maintained animal colonies and worked with large animals. I believe having animals in your life is a blessing. I am retired and I love animals so I thought I would give some love and attention to the animals that need some attention while the owner is away from them. I have a fenced in yard that the dogs can run and play. I am also there with the dogs most if not all of the day.

My family had rescued three pitbulls while I was growing up, so I am familiar with the process of taking in a dog and allowing them to become comfortable with you on their terms- especially in a home they are not familiar with. If your pup absolutely has to have someone there at all times or has medication needs, we can also rearrange schedules to have both of us work from home, or bring them along to the office! We have a patio dog door, allowing dogs to spend time inside if they wish or to let themselves outside to sunbathe, chase squirrels or burn off any energy if home alone. Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard that everyone always has access to. In the summer we try to spend a lot of time back there relaxing, chasing bubbles and throwing the ball. We do have a hairless cat who typically stays in my sister's bedroom under the blankets. We make sure she has her safe space by not allowing even our dogs free access to her room and when we have new doggie friends, we typically put up an extra gate in the hall just to make sure everyone has their space.
About: I have been helping care for dogs since I was 10. I grew up with Dalmatians, dachshunds, black labs and Dobermans. To say I love dogs is an understatement. Our dachshund (16) recently passed away and my daughters and him were best friends! About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl and that has been many many years ago.
