Rowan came every day, stayed 1 hour, and gave us great updates on how Maggie was doing - with a pic or two every time. She showed great judgment about not taking Maggie outside the first couple of days but then doing it for the later days, always at the start of her visit, so she could lure Maggie back in with food if needed. (I had given Rowan the choice of letting Maggie out to get fresh air or just stay in with her.) Rowan was terrific, very responsible. We'd have her again in a heartbeat.”
About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life! Got my first dog when I was 4 years old. I have watched dogs for neighbors, family, and friends. I have been exposed to all sizes of dogs as well, from Corgi's to Great Danes I currently have a dog that I care for, and walk about three times a week. He is truly spoiled with affection, and loves playing. I make sure that pets always have fresh water and are feed accordingly. I make sure that their environment is safe. I also follow pet parent instructions closely, and stick to routines the pets are used to.

“Karen was amazing!! We were traveling in from out-of-town and were very nervous about leaving our pug, Curtis, with a stranger for the first time since we got him a few months ago. Karen was very knowledgeable, and Curtis seemed drawn to her right away, which pretty quickly helped to put us more at ease. Karen was great with Curtis and sent us several fun and cute updates throughout the day about snuggling, playing piano for him, and his unexpectedly strong attachment to her husband Jim. When we picked him up at the end of each day, Curtis seemed happy and confident, which indicated that he had a lot of fun hanging out with Karen (& Jim), and we always stayed an extra 15 minutes to chat. Her house was kind of a drive from where we were staying in downtown Cincinnati, but Karen was well-worth the drive. If we’re ever back in Cincinnati with Curtis, we would love to work with Karen again!”
About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dogs whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. As of August 2026, I finished nursing school and will be doing Rover full-time until I take my NCLEX test to officially become a licensed nurse! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old miniature schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. I'm experienced with dogs of all ages ranging from puppies to seniors. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Since graduating college, my schedule is quite literally free 24/7! As mentioned before, Rover will be my full-time job until I get to take my NCLEX and become a licensed nurse. This means your dog will have my full attention and rarely, if at all, be left alone! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

She read the long list I gave her of info on our dog and sent multiple updates during the day. And she was able to handle my dogs quirky behavior really well (a mini dachshund). About: Animals have been so much the center of my life that I made it my career! I am a professional dog trainer with an education through Jean Donaldson's Academy for Dog Trainer's. Let me bring that experience to carrying for your best friend's when you need a set of extra hands. I have loved and cared for pets my entire life! Growing up we had cats, dogs, birds and lizards. Currently I have two Great Pyrenees and one cat of great personaity. They have been my guides in the wonderful world of clicker training. Ghost, my rescue dog, has given me a lot of experience with anxious, sensitive dogs that need a little more time and care. Where as Nanuk has shown me how to handle dogs with a ton of drive and intelligence. And how to harness that despite physical limitations. About: I have had animals since I was 5 and started the learning process of how to take care of them at that age as well. Starting at 15, I started to take care of neighbors’ and friends’ pets when they have gone on vacation. I have experience and am comfortable with all sizes and ages of pets! I am free anytime of day. I’m very open, loving, and enjoy building relationships with clients and their pets. Best part of my day is when their animals remember me. All animals are always welcome! I love going on walks with clients dogs, or sitting and taking care of their cats. Other animals are welcome as well, I have had training with all other animals as well- goats, horses, sheep and beyond.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10. Family relied on me to walk,feed and bathe their pet. Assisted my mom with dog(s) and cat(s) care, I'm pet Cpr and first aid certified through Pet Tech. I'm working part time so I'm available by appointment only for Dog Walking and Drop-in Visits between 9am and 8pm, I can make room for your appointment. I'll walk client's dog always on leash and I'll keep it distanced away from other dogs, the only time I'll walk it with another dog is if its from same household.
About: I have always have tiny little mutts running around since I was little and my love for animals has grown tremendously into adult hood! I love all animals in any size. My experience comes from taking care of my own pets as well as family, friends, and neighbors! I graduated Highschool early and working part time, my job is very flexible and knows that my pet care comes first! Im pretty available on most days of the week I have a gated back yard, with 3 doggies that are loving. They have their own “house” and I am easily able to put them in or out!

“Like so many dog parents lost in the nerve wracking process of leaving your dog with someone new, we landed on Tonia. We scoured the listings and we made the RIGHT choice. She was very welcoming. We had a great meet and greet so Gus could meet her dogs and explore her space. Her house is very dog friendly and the yard is spacious and shaded. She was great at communicating and sending pics as well. Drop off and pick up was a snap. If you’re on the fence, jump on over and meet her.
