About: I have been surrounded by dogs my whole life! Got my first dog when I was 4 years old. I have watched dogs for neighbors, family, and friends. I have been exposed to all sizes of dogs as well, from Corgi's to Great Danes I currently have a dog that I care for, and walk about three times a week. He is truly spoiled with affection, and loves playing. I make sure that pets always have fresh water and are feed accordingly. I make sure that their environment is safe. I also follow pet parent instructions closely, and stick to routines the pets are used to.

“Karen was amazing!! We were traveling in from out-of-town and were very nervous about leaving our pug, Curtis, with a stranger for the first time since we got him a few months ago. Karen was very knowledgeable, and Curtis seemed drawn to her right away, which pretty quickly helped to put us more at ease. Karen was great with Curtis and sent us several fun and cute updates throughout the day about snuggling, playing piano for him, and his unexpectedly strong attachment to her husband Jim. When we picked him up at the end of each day, Curtis seemed happy and confident, which indicated that he had a lot of fun hanging out with Karen (& Jim), and we always stayed an extra 15 minutes to chat. Her house was kind of a drive from where we were staying in downtown Cincinnati, but Karen was well-worth the drive. If we’re ever back in Cincinnati with Curtis, we would love to work with Karen again!”
“We had a few hours in Cincinnati before a flight out and we decided to visit the zoo. Unfortunately our fur baby was not allowed so we decided to put her in the care of Lisa for a few hours. As we don’t live here, Lisa was the best option and I’m so happy to have found her on Rover. From day 1 she was extremely responsive and patient. On drop off day she was ready and waiting for us. For the few hours our baby was with her she communicated with us and updated us with photos of her. Super happy with her service and her genuine care. About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. The owner was so glad I caught these things and informed them. I have driven pets to the vet for a client. I have walked dogs, and cared for chickens and geckos. About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dogs whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Tuesday and Thursday are the two days I have a class and I'm always home after that! The class is only 2 hours long so any guest pets won't be alone very long at all. I'm home all day every day otherwise! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

About: I have always owned dogs and one is medium sized and one is small. I got a five month old puppy when I was 14 and trained her fully. Assisted my mom with dog(s) and cat(s) care, I'm pet Cpr and first aid certified through Pet Tech. I'm working part time so I'm available by appointment only for Dog Walking and Drop-in Visits between 9am and 8pm, I can make room for your appointment. I'll walk client's dog always on leash and I'll keep it distanced away from other dogs, the only time I'll walk it with another dog is if its from same household.
About: Although I currently have two pets of my own, I can’t get enough of animals. Therefore, spending time with other pets warms my heart endlessly. I have two cats that require lots of attention and love. They have separate feeding times and amounts, have multiple litter boxes, and need frequent brushings. One cat has urinary tract issues and sometimes has accidents that have to be cleaned up multiple times a day. They also enjoy being chased as a form of exercise, as well as “hunting” for their toys. My one cat is allowed outside only if he is being held or is in his harness. The other cat does not go outside. I live very close to a road so I do not like the idea of letting my cats out on their own.

My only note is that my senior dog probably would have done better being boarded overnight at a home with fewer overnight guests. She seemed extra tired after the long Easter weekend. But it's not a criticism, it's more a note that may help other boarders decide if that's what's best for their dogs.”

They respond to messages very quickly and were very hospitable. I had a trip abroad and my return flight kept getting delayed to the point where I wasn't able to pick up my dog at the scheduled time. They were very understanding and allowed me to pick him up the next day. I can't thank them enough for doing that! We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. She took very good care of them and went above and beyond, doing simple things as brushing out our pup who was shedding a lot, all the way to helping out one of our dogs who had a little bit of reflux and getting her back to normal.
