I usually take breaks during my work from home days to walk/play with the animals. For dogs - Dogs will be walked 3-4x daily or more depending on their individual needs. I do not have extra crates. Amy animals looking to stay in my home will need to be good with both cats and dogs. I keep plenty of treats on me during walks, in addition to a clicker for training and a portable water bowl. For cats - My home is equipped with a pet water fountain, extra bowls, and lots of toys. The litterboxes are cleaned daily and deep cleaned once a month. My cat is fed on a schedule (once in the morning and once in the evening) but I am happy to accomodate any feeding preferences for my clients pets should they choose to stay with me.

About: I've taken care of family dogs, both large and small, since around age twelve. In high school I also cared for a bird, as well as part of my adulthood. In early adulthood I worked for three years as a professional dog handler and dog walker for a company in New York City. I am accustomed to reading dogs body language and keeping them safe and feeling secure. I've lived with cats in more recent years and have consistently been hired to cat sit for neighbors. I am comfortable with elder pets, administering medications, and helping anxious pets feel more comfortable at home and out in the world. I am a full-time grad student, so my schedule is much more flexible than a 9-5 worker. You can depend on me to safely enter and exit your home with care for security and cleanliness, and I'd always touch base with you for any concerns. I'm also disabled by long-COVID and take many COVID mitigations (still masking), so I'd be safer for immunocompromised clients. For drop-in visits and popping into your home for a dog walk, I will be masked. For pet sitting overnight, I'm always happy to take a COVID test—just let me know!
About: I've taken care of many kinds of dogs and have always had one in my family home. I've taken care of big and small, old gentle dogs and crazy little puppies. I've had a lab and currently have a pitbull. They've all been very playful so I'm used to and don't minding jumping, barking and licking.
