About: One of my favorite parts of my undergrad experience was taking care of my cousin’s cat. I fed, played, and took care of her for extended periods of time and loved having a furry friend keeping me company. I’ve also taken care of 8 week old kittens for my next door neighbors at 14 years old! Sometimes when I got cat deprived, my friends and I would go to a humane society to play with cats.

About: I’ve been a foster parent for Columbus Humane for 5 years. I’ve fostered everything from big dogs rescued from abuse cases to litters of kittens and their moms to pregnant guinea pigs! I also grew up in a house with 5 dogs and 2 cats—so nothing can surprise me. I have experience with breeds of all sizes, puppies, special medical needs, senior/end-of-life care, mixed animal homes (dogs AND cats, for example), and behavioral issues (other-dog aggressive, skittish, etc). About: I am a dog mom, cat mom and a part time MBA student. My two cats are very well socialized with dogs, and my puppy Suki is absolutely obsessed with other dogs. We live in an apartment in downtown Columbus with plenty of space for a small dog guest. There are small grass patches in my apartment where I can take a dog to potty, they would need to be leashed the entire time. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside walking the scioto mile, and I like to paint. My current daily routine is flexible so I would be able to provide any care necessary. I used to have a senior dog that required a lot of TLC, and now I have a 4 pound puppy with a fast metabolism that also requires TLC for other reasons. suki is partially potty trained, but we do use indoor pads and a live grass patch. It’s OK if your dog is small and pad trained, I have plenty of cleaning supplies to take care of any accidents. I take safety very seriously for all pets. My cat takes a consistent medication every night at 9 PM and we haven’t missed it for the past four years. Also small dogs take a special amount of attention to keep safe.

About: I’m currently a graduate student at The Ohio State University, and alongside my academic work, caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. About: I have rescued dogs for 25+ years. I have rescued Rottweilers, Cane Corso, Hound mix, and Lab mixes. I am well versed on handling large, reactive dogs. My dogs always get walked twice/day for 2-3 miles, regardless of weather. I have also taken care of friends and neighbors dogs, everything from French Mastiffs to chihuahuas. Because I sometimes have damaged/reactive dogs, I take walks very seriously and stay very alert to avoid issues. I no longer work at my career job, and am semi-retired so am available most of the time, during the week and weekends, aside from vacations. My dogs get free rein of the downstairs, I do not let them on furniture, however. Despite living in the city, I have a large fenced backyard that I let the dogs out to run around whenever they want, though they always get walked twice a day as well

About: I have always had dogs growing up. I would have responsibilities like taking them for walks, feeding them, playing fetch or even just giving them love. I have always had a love for all kinds of dogs and will be more than glad to take care of yours! :) I’m currently working full-time, Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. However, I am available in the evenings and weekends! I would love to take your pup for evening walks or play with them at the park! I have a fenced yard at my apartment complex as well as nearby parks and walking trails I can take them too. I am very flexible and am willing to accommodate to what your pet needs.
