“Laura was an excellent care provider of our dog, Happy! Happy got sick the day after we left town… He developed pancreatitis…The vet thought from the cicadas he had eaten the days before. Laura checked with us and took him to the ER (vet) because she saw blood in his diarrhea. They kept him for two days for IVs, meds, etc. when he started eating, she was able to take him home and took excellent care of him as though he was her own dog. She cooked chicken, and rice to help him start eating again. Her dog, ‘BOO’ watched over Happy also. She kept us informed with videos and texts every day. When we got back home, Happy was clearly feeling well at Laura‘s home and happy being with BOO. Laura keeps a sharp eye on the dogs. We definitely recommend her!!!”

About: I've been around cats for as long as I can remember, and started caring for them myself when I was around 12 years old. They just seem to gravitate towards me, and I remember at one point taking care of 7 or 8 neighborhood cats at once. Feeding them, watering them, and giving them affection if they wanted it. I never push them to accept pets or cuddles or even to sniff me. The most I will do is hold out my hand as an offering of trust and allow them to make that decision themself.

I’m also a zoo science major so I’m sure to take good care of your baby! I have a dog and two fish of my own, my Shorkies name is Clementine and my two fish are Thorfin and Goob. I’m currently an online student, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be home and available with your pets throughout the day. I’m available most days and can be flexible with walks, drop-ins, and pet-sitting needs. The only time I’m unavailable is Wednesdays from 2:00–3:30 PM due to a class. Back at my house we have a fenced area for our dogs to run around in but I’ve also crate trained dogs as well. At college my Clementine is crate trained and I take her for walks daily & often.

About: Hello there, my name is Ethan! I have two dogs and one cat, but I take care of neighborhood cats. I feed them, water them, bathe them (not the strays because they don't let me), love on them, snuggle with them, walk them, and just in general adore them. I love trying to teach new tricks and rewarding them with pets and (if allowed) treats. I love playing with animals too, and I tend to be quite amused by the way they play. I love making them happy and giving them the attention they require and deserve. I have been around animals my whole life, and I hope to be around them for the rest of it. Every day I feed, water and otherwise care for my three pets. Going for walks at least once a day and playing with them to get their energy out and their daily exercise. Pets, cuddles, and playtimes are on the animals terms, and I don't press them to want contact. I try not to raise my voice with them if I don't have to, and I don't like physical punishment.

Monday through Friday I am available from 11am to 1pm, and any time after 3:30 pm. Saturday & Sunday I am available from 6am to 10:30pm with exceptions if needed! In a clients home I let the animals do what they would do on a regular day if owners were home, while still closesly monitoring to be sure they stay safe and behaved! I always like to try and play with the dogs before I leave so they’re not hyper and alone.
