“Lindsay is simply the best. I have had a few people I've tried through Rover and I'm just never happy with them. I trust Lindsay and just love the way she interacts with Nova. Nova, a snowshoe cat, is unlike any cat I've ever encountered, and I have had many, many, many cats. You always hear how cats are independent and will take care of themselves for the most part. Nova is the exception and I swear he is more like a dog. He has intense separation anxiety and sits by the door waiting on us to come home (we watch him through a cam). It's heartbreaking as sometimes we are gone for up to 10 days. He is very affectionate and loving and stays in my lap all day. So he needs a lot of attention. And Lindsay gives it to him! It's what I look for most when selecting someone to watch him. Someone who understands he's not like a normal cat and needs your voice, physical touch, play, and just overall some company. I specialize in French bulldogs and dogs with mobility issues that may require extra care and medication administration but am also available to care for other breeds and healthy dogs and cats as well! I am a graduate student at the Cleveland institute of music and within my schedule have breaks and long blocks of time where I can go to hangout with, check in on, walk, and feed pets :) I’m almost always available to spend the night and take care of them in the morning before setting off for my day. The longest I would need to leave a dog alone would be 5-6 at most, but that would be rare. About: I always had a dog growing up, and I've had one consistently for the last five years. I spent a year fostering before I adopted my current pup, so I've had experience with a lot of different kinds and sizes. I'm happy to run around with a puppy or younger, energetic dog, or chill out with an older buddy who just wants love. I'm open to all kinds, but I've always had a soft spot for bullies or other big dogs, because they're frequently misunderstood as dangerous when, more often than not, they're just big babies. My dog is reactive, so I know how to deal with dogs who need extra care and special protection, including from themselves. I firmly believe every dog deserves love, empathy, and care, even - maybe especially - those that might have been overlooked or dismissed. I have hardly ever met a dog I didn't like, and I can't wait to hang out with yours and give them all the play and love they deserve. I work from home, and I have a flexible schedule. I'm allowed to set my own hours, so I'll be happy to come visit your furbaby whenever they need it. I'm happy to come over and walk your dog, drop in and hang out with them in your home, or both. I've taken care of animals with behavioral struggles and physical health troubles within my own family and it has given me important experience to be able to take the best care of your pets, no matter what their unique circumstances. I am available weekends and throughout most work weeks and my university schedule allows for the flexibility I need to meet your pets needs whenever works best for them! I am Red Cross Certified in Cat and Dog First Aid. I also have experience caring for both senior dogs and puppies/kittens that are under a year old, as well as experience administering various oral medications and inhalers to dogs and cats. I also have experience with dogs that require a muzzle, for any reason.
About: I’m a social worker, a mom to 2 pit bulls, 1 senior cat, and 1 human toddler. I grew up on a farm and I am a lifelong animal lover. Between the various needs of my creatures at home, and my experience over the last 20 years, I’m well equipped to take care of your babies. I have somewhat flexible availability during the week, and even more so on the weekends. I work from home some days of the week and can pop out as needed. I am attentive to your instructions for care and walk in with eyes wide open. If something seems off, I’ll let you know right away. About: I have dogs my entire life. I have a dog of my own who is very well trained. I am very active so I enjoy playing and walking with animals. I am an ICU nurse going back to grad school at Case Western. So I will be a full time student with a flexible schedule! I have experience with all different aged animals. I have volunteered at pounds and walked very strong dogs. I can assure your dog will get the right amount of love and care. Full time student so I have a flexible schedule. I will be able to do take your dog for long walks or play. Whatever is needed. Monday and Wednesday are my long days in class. About: Starting in July, I am available all day! I've always grown up with animals. I was born into a family with two older dogs, and grew up with 2 family dogs, Maggie & Henry, whom I loved and adored as family. When I moved to graduate school, I adopted two cats, Plum & May. I didn't grow up with cats, but during college up to now I spend time at local animal shelters volunteering and helping to socialize cats where I have time. Currently, I spend my free time trapping, spaying/neutering, and releasing feral cats in my neighborhood to give them better, safer lives. I work an 8-5pm job M-F currently in Cleveland. I am a graduate student, which does mean I am relatively busy, However, I am more than willing to try to fit pet-sitting/walking into my schedule. We can talk more about this if you want to book with me! I always like to get a detailed account of the owner's daily routine with the pet, as well as any medical or physical concerns I should be looking out for. If the client approves, I like to err on the side of reaching out if I have questions or concerns, rather than waiting until they get back. Additionally, having emergency veterinary information is a must, as I am willing to do what is necessary to keep your pet safe.
