Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. About: I've raised cats since I was a child. My family breed Siamese kittens. So I'm very familiar with cats from birth onwards. More recently I rescued two feral kittens and they have joined my family. I can do medications for all animals and extra care your pets may need. About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Tuesday and Thursday are the two days I have a class and I'm always home after that! The class is only 2 hours long so any guest pets won't be alone very long at all. I'm home all day every day otherwise! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

About: I have had 9 cats of my own. I have cared for kittens from age 2 weeks old, having to bottle feed them to senior cats who needed medication. I'm open with owners about things I find. I once noticed a cat I was caring for had worms and I relayed this to the owner. Another time, I noticed during a nail trim that a cat had a claw growing into its paw pad. The owner was so glad I caught these things and informed them. I have driven pets to the vet for a client. I have walked dogs, and cared for chickens and geckos. About: I have always owned dogs and one is medium sized and one is small. I got a five month old puppy when I was 14 and trained her fully. I dog sit for family and friends and want to expand and do more dog sitting! I love cuddling with dogs, taking them for walks, and playing with them. I adore dogs so much that I did a research presentation in a public speaking class about different dog breeds and their traits! In the summer, I am a part time nanny for a wonderful family. About: My name is Marissa! :) Ever since I was a little kid I have always loved dogs. They were always what I chose for my favorite animal! I have tons of experience pet sitting—overnight, long stays, and throughout the day, and dog walking all sorts of dogs - including young puppies, big dogs, older dogs, and my family dog - a yellow lab named Toby who is very strong! My schedule is flexible and I can be adaptable to plans I love to take walks and explore the neighborhood. I am clean and responsible in others homes. I also don’t mind dogs/cats on the bed!
About: I have spent over 4 years volunteering at animal shelters with both dogs and cats. I have also grown up with both dogs and cats - primarily small breeds. At the shelter I specialize in dogs, and have worked with breeds ranging from Cane Corsos to Toy Poodles. I like to both play and relax with dogs, and enjoy dog walking as part of an active lifestyle. I work full time, but WFH 3 days a week. The weekends are when I am most free, and prefer afternoons/evenings. I can be flexible if you reach our! I will check on your pet(s)' food and water supply in addition to making sure they use the facilities. I enjoy brushing pets as well!
About: I am a cat owner and have several years of experience volunteering at an animal shelter spending time with dogs and cats while caring for them. I am off of work for the summer and have open availability for new clients. I am open to one-time and repeated visits both during the week, weekends, and holidays. I am looking for dog walking and drop-in visits. I follow the client's instructions and will contact the client with any questions. I love to play with animals and make sure that there needs are met.

She knows that dogs are dogs and is understanding when they behave as such. My dog is not comfortable in kennels, when other sitters have that as a norm, she lets them hang out as close to her as they want, all the time. She treated my dog (my kid) like her own and she appreciates the familial love my dog and I share.”

“I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch.
