About: As a rising third-year veterinary student at the University of Illinois, I have extensive hands-on experience working with cats in both clinical and home settings. My veterinary training has taught me how to safely and calmly handle cats of all personalities—including shy, anxious, senior, high-energy, and more independent cats—while paying close attention to their comfort and stress levels. I understand that cats thrive on routine and familiar environments, so I strive to make their care as low-stress and personalized as possible while you’re away. I am comfortable with feeding routines, medications, litter box care, enrichment, and recognizing subtle changes in behavior or health that cats can sometimes hide. Beyond my clinical experience, I genuinely love taking the time to build trust with each cat at their own pace. Whether your cat enjoys playtime and attention or prefers quiet companionship and patience, I will adapt my care to fit their individual personality and needs. My goal is always to make both you and your cat feel safe, comfortable, and confident while they are in my care.

“Taylor was great with our cats! She followed all of our instructions perfectly and gave our cats lots of playtime. She updated us with cute photos each visit and was quick to respond! We were confident our babies were in good hands!”

“Super thankful for Azya checking in on my Ivy while we were out of town. She sent daily photos of her, which was super reassuring, and gave her all the snuggles. She took excellent care & was very communicative. She went above and beyond and I highly recommend her taking care of your fur baby!”

“Paige was amazing with our pups! Loved the pictures and the updates. Our dogs can be a handful, very loving and playful but a handful, haha. Paige took great care of them, was on time, and did a great job. Definitely book her!”

“Emily was available on short notice and took great care of our two cats while we were away. This is our second time booking with Emily, and we would definitely trust her to watch our cats again!”

“Crystal was a total pro taking care of my 2 sweet cats. She came well prepared to the pre-visit and asked great questions. During her drop-in visits, she did everything we discussed to a "T", and and really showed that she had paid attention to the cats' personalities. Crystal took extra steps to make friends with one of the cats, who warmed right up to Crystal. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for over 20 years and truly enjoy being around them. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with different personalities — from energetic pups to more anxious or senior pets. I offer walks, drop-in visits, and boarding in my home. I do have a cat, and he is used to being around dogs, but I always prioritize safety and comfort for everyone. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home and structure my schedule intentionally, so I’m able to provide consistent walks, feeding times, and attention throughout the day. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-ins, and when boarding, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I value routine and make sure each pet’s normal schedule is maintained to help them feel comfortable and secure. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood with my son (7 YO) and our cat, Toto. While our backyard is not fenced, dogs are always leashed for outdoor time and walks. We have great sidewalks and a quiet area that’s ideal for daily exercise. Inside the home, I provide a calm and supervised environment. I’m attentive to each pet’s comfort level and always prioritize safety, clear communication with owners, and following specific care instructions. I’m also happy to schedule meet-and-greets beforehand to ensure everyone feels confident.
About: Hi my name is Patrice. I'm a veterinary technician who loves being with animals even outside of my normal work day. If I could I would adopt a million pets but unfortunately that's not an option. I take pride in being able to help care for pets outside of my own. There's nothing more fulfilling than being able to play with fur babies when the owners cannot do so because of work. I am able to provide exercise time, medication administration, ear cleaning, and basic grooming. If you are in need of any of the above services feel free to reach out to me. I would love to get to know you and your fur babies and develop a life long bond. Pet care fits into my daily routine perfectly. I'm always with pets even in my dreams. Rather I am walking pets or meeting up for grooming appointments, I'm always with pets. I get a background of the pets home life and mimic that while they are with me. Routine works best with most pets. When you switch up what they are used to they do not do well.
“Jenny and her family were amazing!! They took care of my dog like he was their own. He had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. Jenny also sent me awesome pictures of all the fun he was having. Thank you so much!”

“Kayla and her partner were wonderful with our dachshund. We needed doggie daycare while attending an event. Kayla was excellent to work with and took great care of our little baby. Highly recommend.”

About: Hello! I’m a Part-Time working Momma and we love animals! I have grown to enjoy dogs mostly. I’ve had a pet dog for a great amount of my life as well as other animals like rabbits, fish and snakes! Size or age doesn't matter, they are all fun. I love their energy and seeing how they interact with loved ones. I frequently help out family members with their dogs which includes bathing, walking, picking up their food and medicine. Taking trips or “car rides” are also a fav’ we partake in. Dogs are truly a pleasure to have and I would love the opportunity to provide care to your fur baby! I have open availability now and have one kiddo! We are up pretty early for school/sports and events so I am pretty flexible with boarding/scheduling! I have a fenced in backyard with lots of space to run and play. I also have a finished basement for those that are potty trained.

About: I’m currently studying to be a vet assistant. Since I was a kid I’ve loved animals and have accumulated lots of knowledge over the years. I’ve been trusted to care for many family pets. Mid-week, afternoons and weekends are the best times for me to care for and play with your babies! I live in a very quiet home and a very quiet neighborhood. We can sit and relax while I knit or easily walk down to the nearby observatory, park, or town square.

“Leo went to his first daycare with Katie and he loved it! She greeted him at the door and welcomed him and made sure the other pups were away so he wouldn't be overwhelmed walking in. He loved it and can't wait for his next stay! He was definitely tuckered out from all the fun he had playing with the other pups. You can tell Katie knows how to handle things and is a dog-lover. We're so glad we found her!”

“Alij is such a sweet and caring sitter. She kept me updated and made me feel comfortable while I was away from my dogs. I’m so grateful for the great care she gave them, and I’ll definitely be booking her again.”

About: Early 40’s year old sitter/walker with car. You could say I have 40+ years of experience. My family had a German Shepherd from before I was born and I was very close to her. There has been a stream of pets in my family. Including so so so many cats in NYC. Even going so far as to “rescue” a half feral one. Currently, I share ownership of a dog. As a small business owner of over 10 years, I am able to have a flexible schedule and spend more time hanging out with your pet(s). That said, I have a lot of experience managing other people, and I do have high expectations for clear communication from clients. I have never had a complaint from clients that already have human children. I am very clear about the kind of care I offer. For example, I clearly state I can do 4-8 hrs for letting out. That does not mean that when I get to the sit, you tell me you expect every hour. I also do not cancel other bookings so that you can be the sole client. I have been through that, obliged, and the client was still dissatisfied. I am running a business and the new owner of this app runs on harsh algorithms that hide you in search. Let’s try to be better and more human, than conforming to private equity and their bottom line. For the fur babies, I can follow their diet and pet or play or brush their hair. As long as you give me a list or schedule, I'll do my best to provide it. I have extensive experience with pets at all stages of life. (As well as other kinds of pets which I am open to caring for.) I understand the care required for a wide variety of needs and can do my best to provide reinforcement on current training, but I am not going to be attuned right off the jump to the nuances noticed by your trainer or you... I can reinforce sit, lay down, paw, stay, heel, rollover, or anything else. I can administer medicine. I am not formally trained in pet CPR, but I am trained in human CPR and have looked at videos for pet CPR. When I was younger I worked as a lifeguard, and have a remarkable natural ability to stay calm and act fast in crisis situations. This comes in handy, for example: when protecting my maltipoo from other dogs, managing territorial behavior, or keeping one dog out of another dog’s bowl. My schedule is flexible and I have a car. I have a small business and partial responsibility of my dog, so I do need to be able to run errands, go to meetings, or check in at home to keep that part of my life running. For extended care, and distance further than 5 miles, I prefer be given the option to stay over at clients for the sake of gas costs, time, and energy. First meeting and approach are important to setting a precedent, I first see if the pet will approach me. I like to offer my hand palm down for them to smell. Sometimes it takes a few times smelling the hand before they feel comfortable letting me pet them. In my opinion it’s important not to mess up first impressions with the pet. Spending time together builds familiarity bonds, being attentive builds trust. It’s important to build rapport.
