HOWEVER, I felt comfortable with Chrissy from the start and was actually excited that Mr. Miyagi (the dog) got to stay someplace where I felt he'd be really cared for. And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance. I wanted someone who could recognize his allergies and respond accordingly if needed. Chrissy was great! I give her 4 "dog thumbs" up!”

About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

About: I’ve helped take care of my family dog (border terrier mix) for the last 10 years, we adopted him at 2 years old and he’s now going on 13! I understand what it’s like to walk energetic young dogs as well as take care of them in their slower senior years. I have pet sitted for cats and dogs and also have experience walking dogs for clients. I am a fourth year medical student at University of Cincinnati, so I am detail oriented and will be well attuned to your pets needs- safety is my top priority! During this time in my medical training I have a flexible schedule, and am free most days. I will be doing interviews for Family Medicine residency from the months of October-January, and during those months I will fit clients in around my interview schedule. I prioritize daily walks and loads of affection for my dog! We often go on familiar walking routes and sometimes go on new ones to keep it interesting and fun for him. My dog is easily alarmed on walks, so I am constantly aware of my surroundings and am very attuned to motorcycles/bikes/scooters, and will make sure I have firm control of the leash in these situations. In my home, I enjoy spending time with my dog on the patio or lawn, playing fetch with a ball or a stick, giving him a kong, and of course giving him the classic belly rubs.

About: Pets have been in my life since I was a little kid. My family has always had a dog and I have a cat that I take care of like she’s my baby! I’ve always loved animals and being around fur babies. To me pets aren’t just animals you have they are an extension of your family! I work a part time job at the kenwood mall during the summer/seasonally and am a student at UC studying education in hopes of becoming a teacher! My availability is pretty flexible during the week Monday, Wednesday, Friday I only have one class from 11-12:10 so I will be readily available for virtually the entire day. Availability for Tuesday/ Thursday varies because my classes range from 11-2 which isn’t ideal for potty breaks or feedings but am able to negotiate if you have a specific situation that would fit my schedule on those two day. During the weekend im free whenever and can do mornings, overnight care, potty breaks, special feeding care, etc. While at home I let our dog out, give treats, feed, and clean the cat's littler box, feed the cat, replenish the water supply in their fountain, etc. I have a senior dog so playing isn’t in her cards anymore but I’m happy to sit with senior dogs and play with younger dogs. I also love walks and will take your pups for as long of a walk as you’d like. I even walk my cat in a pet stroller when the weather is nice!

I have a 5-year-old Australian Shepherd back home, who I personally helped train, and I previously cared for my family’s 14-year-old senior dog in her final days, so I understand the unique needs of both energetic and aging dogs. Spending time with them is incredibly therapeutic for me. I can’t wait to connect with your pup and provide the same love and care I give my own! “They were amazing! My pups did not go without love. They sent pictures to update us on eating habits, play time and behaviors. I appreciated the updates and loved the fact they were dog lovers. When I dropped off the pups, they made sure they would do well in a new environment before leaving. When we returned from out of town, they were understanding of our late arrival and had the pups fed before we came. Overall, I would choose them again.”

Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. “Chrissy was great with my dog! I'm still new to rover.com and was a little nervous to leave my dog with someone I didn't know. HOWEVER, I felt comfortable with Chrissy from the start and was actually excited that Mr. Miyagi (the dog) got to stay someplace where I felt he'd be really cared for. And "cared for" Chrissy and family did! She sent me photos of him every other day and I got to see how normal life stayed for him while I was gone. Another reason I felt comfortable with Chrissy is that she has the vet tech background. Mr. Miyagi has allergies and can be a little high maintenance. I wanted someone who could recognize his allergies and respond accordingly if needed. Chrissy was great! I give her 4 "dog thumbs" up!”

Growing up, I helped care for multiple Vizslas as well as a Great Dane, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My boyfriend, Alex, who lives with me, also helps care for the dogs we sit.
