Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. “We had a few hours in Cincinnati before a flight out and we decided to visit the zoo. Unfortunately our fur baby was not allowed so we decided to put her in the care of Lisa for a few hours. As we don’t live here, Lisa was the best option and I’m so happy to have found her on Rover. From day 1 she was extremely responsive and patient. On drop off day she was ready and waiting for us. For the few hours our baby was with her she communicated with us and updated us with photos of her. Super happy with her service and her genuine care. About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

“I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”

“If you love your dog like they were your own child, then book Tonia! I’d give Tonia six stars if I could. Her patience and kindness with humans such as I, and animals like my dog, were superb! She knows that dogs are dogs and is understanding when they behave as such. My dog is not comfortable in kennels, when other sitters have that as a norm, she lets them hang out as close to her as they want, all the time. She treated my dog (my kid) like her own and she appreciates the familial love my dog and I share.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my parents believed that helping care for pets was an important way to build responsibility, so animals have always been a part of my life, and I’ve truly never gone without having a pet in my home. Over the years, I’ve gained experience helping care for animals of all ages and needs, including temporary foster pets, senior pets, and pets with special needs. I’m comfortable supporting animals who require medications, extra patience, mobility accommodations, and individualized routines. I understand that every pet has their own personality and comfort level, and I strive to make them feel safe, loved, and cared for while their owners are away. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, walks, quiet companionship, or needs a little extra support, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I would give my own. I’m an occupational therapist at a nursing home in Cincinnati! My work schedule is flexible for me as I need to be. I don’t work weekends! I live in an apartment with a fenced yard area. I have a friendly dog that is crated when I’m not home. I have a cat who is friendly!
