About: Hi, my name is Faith and I'm a young professional living in Cincinnati, OH. I'm looking to make some extra money for a dream vacation while spending quality time with my best friend, Rusty. Rusty is a senior corgi-retriever mix that loves naps and rolling in the grass. We walk twice a day and enjoy living near plenty of trails and a big park. He is dog-friendly and would love some company as he's over the dog park. We're open to hosting for dogs, animals in enclosures, and animals that may be harder to find care for. I have a lot of personal experience with animals from pets to exotics, we would love to host your loved one. I'm work in a hybrid setting, so I am available during the first half of the week to be fully present with your loved one at my home. For weekend bookings, I am fully available. I can also add on weekend activities such as a local hike or taking them to a prepaid grooming appointment for an additional fee. I have an aging dog that takes medication and requires accommodation for seperation anxiety, so I am familiar with meeting special needs or adjustments in care. I do not crate pets unless advised due to behavioral concerns, and the pet must be crate trained. For animals that live in enclosures such as rabbits or guinea pigs, I will keep them on a desk or in my room with periods of playtime out of the enclosure as directed by their guardian.

“I can’t sing Sandy’s praises enough, but I’m going to try because she’s the best! Finding a small pet sitter is already difficult when websites and apps like these are only set up for cats and dogs, and I was searching last minute. I was in a complete panic, my friend had informed me that while the air bnb she booked accommodated dogs, they would not allow rodents, only a couple weeks before we planned to leave. I have two elderly guinea pigs with daily care needs. I had scrambled to book someone who then flaked on me, so I was left desperate to find another sitter with even shorter notice. Did I mention this was for a holiday weekend too? It was a recipe for disaster, so I can’t believe my luck that I found Sandy. She responded literally within the minute I sent the request. We planned to meet right after that, and when we met, even though I was only supposed to give her a tour, some instructions, and the keys— we genuinely talked for about 2 hours. She told me all about the street cats she has homed, the bunnies she’s cared for despite her hay allergies, and pet my dog while we chatted. She is the nicest and funniest person. We were fast friends! Relief just washed over me, she had earned my complete trust, I felt so confident leaving my pets in her hands. And she did an incredible job, so friendly, so attentive. She truly went above and beyond: I swear my house is cleaner than when I left, she brought in my mail, she left me notes, she cut up fresh vegetables for my guinea pigs when I ran out, and she sent daily pictures of my guinea girls. She gave me the biggest peace of mind that my little ladies were being well cared for. I can not stress how much I love this girl, she’s a gem. About: I have had at least one dog since I was born as I grew up in an animal loving family. For the past 11+ years I’ve been raising my own pack of three rescue dogs who I’ve trained and raised to be extremely social and friendly. They love making new fur friends. I currently work a regular office job, but am fairly flexible with my schedule and am almost always available on weekends (Friday - Sunday) and evenings. I have a completely fenced in yard and three friendly fur babies of my own that would love nothing more than to befriend and play with your dog(s). About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dogs whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely). Tuesday and Thursday are the two days I have a class and I'm always home after that! The class is only 2 hours long so any guest pets won't be alone very long at all. I'm home all day every day otherwise! The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate, you can bring that as well for me to use if this is how your pet is normally kept while left alone.

As a prior dog owner, I am well-positioned to take care of small and medium-sized dogs who need some extra care during the day. About: I have owned dogs/cats since I was a very small child and have cared for them like they were my siblings/children every time. I currently have an 11yo cat, Diesel, that is my heart and joy! My long term bubbie was a Rottweiler/husky mix that was with my family for 14 amazing years, and we have cared for countless foster dogs since then. In addition I care for friends/coworkers/others dogs regularly and get glowing reviews the dogs are relaxed and at peace when the owner returns home vs experiencing separation anxiety. I am a teacher, my summers are free giving me the availability to be attentive to your furry loved ones during this time while you vacation! I am very affectionate with my cat and ensure all his needs are met the moment he makes me aware of them. Same for my clients’ pets, the slightest whimper or upset sound I will tend to them and figure out what has disturbed them until we’re able to settle back into a comfortable space in the home. This is usually when I do overnight stays and the pets get anxious.

About: My family has had dogs since before I was born! I’ve been around dogs my entire life, and know how to take care of fur babies of all ages :) Almost four years ago I adopted my first cat. Fast forward to today, I am now a mother of two orange special needs kitties. They are my world 🌎 ❤️🐾 I currently work part time and go to school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On school days, class starts at 9 and I will have an hour and a half between classes to let a pet out to go to the bathroom, feed them, or give them medication. Then I have another class from 1-3. After that, I will be totally free to assist any pets. I also work part time 3-4 days when I do not have school. These are usually 6-8 hour shifts, but I can adjust feedings/walking/medication administration around these times. And when in doubt, I have several well regarded Rover friends that are willing to help out on my longer shifts, with client approval. :-) I have space to keep a crate for overnight visits and live in an apartment complex with some green space to walk and explore. I am also only a few minutes away from five different parks, so lots of options to check out. I have two cats that are dog friendly, but can be separated if the dog is not cat friendly !

About: I’ve had animals in my home since I was born! Currently I have a dog and two cats of my own. I’ve been around and cared for animals of all sizes and breeds. I have a cat now that needs to take oral medication daily so I have experience there, and work from home so I’m fairly flexible on how I can care for your babies while you are away! I work from home, and at a restaurant on the weekends. So my availability is very flexible. I take my dog out every few hours to walk and smell around the neighborhood. I’m very active so if you have an active pet that’s great! But I can also take it slow if that’s what your senior baby needs. My dog is always leashes when outside for her safety as I do not have a fenced in yard. We walk on the sidewalks and always look out for traffic and other dogs!

I am retired now. I'm looking for a fulfilling way to make extra money doing something I love. Why not care for another's pet daily. And please, serious requests only. I can only come to the pet's residence. Since I am a cat owner, I understand that they need to be in their own environment. Also, I'm not sure how my cat would act if I brought your pooch to stay for the day. I have no problem caring for your pet in their own environment.
About: My experience goes back to being the go-to walker for our family dog as a kid to minding my cat today. It’s not unusual for me to meet a dog or cat and become acquainted in minutes I work from home with a flexible schedule. Therefore, I can be on-call at various times. I’m also used to fitting pet care for my cat into my daily routine. I make sure to follow all instructions laid out by the pet parent and get clarification wherever necessary, as well as communicate any issues that may arise.
About: Although I currently have two pets of my own, I can’t get enough of animals. Therefore, spending time with other pets warms my heart endlessly. I have two cats that require lots of attention and love. They have separate feeding times and amounts, have multiple litter boxes, and need frequent brushings. One cat has urinary tract issues and sometimes has accidents that have to be cleaned up multiple times a day. They also enjoy being chased as a form of exercise, as well as “hunting” for their toys. My one cat is allowed outside only if he is being held or is in his harness. The other cat does not go outside. I live very close to a road so I do not like the idea of letting my cats out on their own.

Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch.
