“I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. About: When Covid started, I accidentally started my business by helping a couple people who adopted dogs outside of their care knowledge. Helping them with their working class dogs (pitbull, collie, and a GSP) and establish a better owner/pet relationship made me realize that this is the right move for my future. Since then I have started my own business as well as helping others with their new family member(s). No creature is too small or large for me. My smallest dog client is 3 pounds and the largest is 215. Aside from that I have expanded my practices with lizards, snakes, cats, and birds. Let me know if you have any questions in the meantime! I am home most of the day. I do part-time work in hospice as well as part-time classes; (I have a door bachelors degree already working towards a BSN). If you have a special needs animal, I am more than happy to comply with their schedule, I just need to know in advance as much as possible. I have a fenced in yard in the back (will have a fully fenced in yard by the end of August in the front). My dogs have a semi strict schedule of activities to keep them mentally/physically stimulated. I follow suit with everybody’s dog. Everybody eats in their own crate, is provided with soft bedding to sleep on in their own crate, but exercise thoroughly throughout the day.

About: Hi! I'm Elijah and I'd love to care for your dog(s) whether you're going on vacation or simply need a sitter for the day. I'm a nursing student in my final semester and I'm returning to Rover after six years! I have one dog of my own, a 9-year-old mini schnauzer named Winston, along with two rabbits and a leopard gecko. My partner has two dogs of his own as well, a labrador named Nina and a shih-tzu mix named Lucky—both of them being seniors at ages 13 and 15! We live in a 2 bedroom house with a medium sized, fenced in backyard. I have gates and areas of the house that can easily be secluded if your pet would do better with limited access to other animals. Our dogs are all easy-going, surprisingly playful for their ages, and get along with other animals very well (although I'll still do introductions slowly and safely!). Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday are the 3 days I have classes and I'm always home after that! Tuesday and Thursday I have a 2-hour class, and Saturday is my long day with a 10 hour clinical so my bookings will be closed for that specific day. The animals in my home are left alone for very little time each week. If guest animals have to be left alone, I have gates along with two rooms I can secure the guest pet in if need be! If you utilize a crate for your animal, you can bring that as well for me to use if I must leave for a short time.

About: My experience goes back to being the go-to walker for our family dog as a kid to minding my cat today. It’s not unusual for me to meet a dog or cat and become acquainted in minutes I work from home with a flexible schedule. Therefore, I can be on-call at various times. About: I have 2 cats. I’ve dog sat 3 times and cat sat once. I’ve helped walk energetic dogs and senior dogs. I’ve administered medication to the senior dog and helped her when she had a seizure. I worked with a feeding schedule as well. I’ve worked with fish and lizards before as well. I treat every animal with care. I’m working full time over the summer but part time when school starts. About: Although I currently have two pets of my own, I can’t get enough of animals. Therefore, spending time with other pets warms my heart endlessly. I have two cats that require lots of attention and love. They have separate feeding times and amounts, have multiple litter boxes, and need frequent brushings. One cat has urinary tract issues and sometimes has accidents that have to be cleaned up multiple times a day. They also enjoy being chased as a form of exercise, as well as “hunting” for their toys. My one cat is allowed outside only if he is being held or is in his harness. The other cat does not go outside. I live very close to a road so I do not like the idea of letting my cats out on their own.

“My dog was welcomed graciously by Joe & Tasha into their home! I met Joe & Tasha prior to booking at the dog park where our dogs were able to meet and was immediately comfortable with them taking my dog for the long weekend. They were quick to respond with communications leading up to the weekend as well as updates throughout. My dog is a Siberian Husky with lots of energy and came home exhausted from all the fun!!”

Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”

“My pup had a great stay! I appreciate the flexibility of Kelti and Tanner with drop off and pick up. We received frequent photos and communication throughout the stay and our dog came home tired and happy. We even found a few princess stickers in his fur, so we know he was well loved by the tiny humans in the house as well :) it’s comforting to know your dog is in good hands while traveling and we will definitely consider rebooking in the future!”
