About: I love all animals and have a puppy of my own that I love to take on runs with me. My dog is my whole world and I would love to help others with their pets. I do work full time but am available for stop ins/walks during lunch time and plenty of play time after 5:30. I generally take my dogs on their walk around 6pm. I am able to board most weekends as well. I can easily crate pets if needed. I do not have a fenced in yard but have tie offs with long leashes. I have also near a school that has a fenced in yard that I and other neighborhood dogs use. For dogs, we will start with a walk to burn off some energy. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water and then we will enjoy more playtime. Throughout the day I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, well-fed and engaged. For cats, I’ll start by providing fresh food and water and spend time with interactive toys or quiet cuddles.

They're cared for morning and evening, and my weekend activities are centered around making sure the animals have adequate care and socialization. About: I’m very good with different personalities of the dog and can work to what they feel comfortable with. Love giving them attention and making them happy! I am free from 3-7pm after I get off work. Taking care of animals fits perfectly into my afternoon schedule and is a great distressor as well. “I just returned from an 11 day trip out of the country, during which Sydney looked over my 2 kitties and home. I was very anxious to leave for so long, as my cats mean the world to me. They also are shy around strangers and need assistance with being given multiple eye medications they are very good at avoiding. That all said, I couldn't be more happy with the job Sydney did. They received their medications, they were fed and loved on and kept company, my home was left in good condition, I received pictures each day that helped with missing them, and she even made buddies with them by the end of her stay. I hope to do more traveling in the future and I will feel safer doing so knowing my girls are being well-cared for by Sydney.”
About: As a teacher and animal lover, I have a niche for caring for kids and animals. I love dogs and can provide the love and attention they need thanks to my own dog and taking care of the pets of friends and family. I’m currently a full-time teacher, so I can only offer 24 hour boarding on the weekends and holidays. I am, however, available to do stop ins or walking after 5pm on weekdays. 🐶Due to an influx in last minute stay requests, acceptance of a last minute request without a required Meet and Greet will result in being charged DOUBLE for the service! (Last minute, 1st time bookings put both myself and my dog at risk—if the guest is not a good fit!)🐶 My home offers an unfenced backyard for your dog(s) to run and play, but if your dog(s) is not trained, they will have to stay on leash. With this in mind, I frequent the dog park at Huron Park and take frequent walks to maintain exercise and help to release pent up energy. I also have a small, 12 pound Poochon to keep your dog(s) company. Animals in my care have free range and will not be crated unless necessary due to behavior or if it is an established routine (for bedtime, etc).

About: For three years I walked two leash pulling cocker spaniels. I turned to watching Cesar Milan for tips, soon I had the dogs walking next to me with the leash loose in my hand. Their owner knew when I’d come to walk them, because they would be barking then quit, due to my entrance with no eye contact. As Cesar says dogs sense with their nose, eyes and ears consecutively. The owner made a comment once “oh, Ruthie must be here”. I’m currently working full time. I would be available after 4 pm Monday - Friday. I travel out of town every other weekend for family. It would work better if I could come to your place. I live in a small condo. That way your pet is kept in it’s familiar surroundings.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs all my life, and currently only have cats but would love some dogs in my life, even just to walk or board :) I walked many dogs and developed close relationships with them at the Licking County Humane Society for four years, and currently dogsit, walk, and take care of my friends’ dogs. I’ve been caring for dogs on Rover for over a year. My schedule differs a bit each week with work. I have a mix of weekday and weekend availabilities, and can work around your schedule most of the time! When boarding, I always do a morning, midday and nightly walk unless you’d prefer otherwise. I live in a 3 bedroom house alone right along the lake with an unfenced yard. The street is very quiet and there’s lots of room in general for your pet to make themselves at home!

My schedule is extremely flexible and your pets needs will be my first priority. Early mornings, late evenings, and weekends are open to accommodate even the busiest pet owners. About: Our Goldendoodle pup Laska has helped fill the void of recent loss in our lives. She fills our heart with joy and is the talk and walk of the neighborhood! I help our friends with their 4 dogs when needed as well. Just like our friends I would prefer to board our sweet girl in a home atmosphere. I want to help those that prefer the same. I have dearly loved a Springer Spaniel, two black labs, German Short hair pointer and Shihtzu over the last 30 years. Let me know if you have any questions. I am a full time RN and work day shift Monday- Thursday. Home visits after 530pm during the work week and more open availability Friday-Sunday. If a home visit doesn't work for you, we do have a vinyl fence in our backyard. We can work together on deciding what is best for your pooch.

About: I've had a full house of "fur kids" for over 15 years. With the same cat that started my pack, Eko Donald, Annie Rose, whom I've had for 5+ years, with two of her babies, Garfied & Binx, the past 3 years. In additional to my feline pack, current Pooches include, Herbie Don, Athena Marie, Piddle & Frank Barone. Yes! I currently have 4 dogs and 4 cats! Herbie, my "vicious" Pitbull Terrier, came as an abandoned 1 year old, now 7, through the "Lorain County Dog Kennel". Athena, my Senior Farm girl, came 2 summers ago, knocking at deaths door, from a divorce case gone bad for the "fur kids" in a state, KY, that does not protect their furies. So bringing her to the great state of Ohio, protected under Goddards Law, was a no brainer. Piddle, my 4 yr old Shorkie, whose legal name is Thor, was a token of appreciation from one of my School Bus. kiddos. Frank Barone, a 2 yr old Spaniel mix of some sort, the "baby" of the pack, came through the APL, from a hoarding case gone terrible. My "fur kids" are truly the "kids", I was not able to have beyond the only 1 I was blessed with who is now an adult. As a Substitute Teacher, my schedule is very flexible and open to just about anything; especially, during those high in demand, and popular vacation times! Yup! Im an introverted, homebody, who doesn't go too far, often enough. I'm open to individual requests per family, as I've learned, just as humans, fur kids are no exception, in the fact that no two pets, or pet families are the same.

About: My family has had cats since I was a baby! I’ve helped out with them for as long as I can remember. I have also house sit for multiple families with animals and walked countless dogs. I get along with most any pet! Previously I volunteered at a shelter to walk and socialize adoptable dogs, and I loved every second. I got my own kitten last year and have loved every second. It has been so fun to help him grow and see him turn into a fun, loving, rambunctious cat. I am off school for a few months and have some extra time to watch or walk your pet! I enjoy being around animals so fitting pet care into my schedule is not an issue. I will do everything necessary to keep your pet safe. Safety is number one for me and I never want to see an animal be hurt or cared for improperly. I will follow all instructions and make sure your pet is healthy and happy!

Playtime also is a really big thing, as dogs need to be mentally stimulated throughout the day and physically active to stay healthy! Just not right after eating, as that can be dangerous for some breeds. Grooming is also super necessary and important for my puppies. Their nails especially grow so fast. Additional things I like to do are evening walks, training time and making sure my pups all have comfortable sleeping areas! In my home my fur babies are provided with walks, nutritious food, exercise, grooming, mental stimulation, a safe environment, socialization and emotional care every day. About: I’ve had cats and dogs my whole life. I absolutely love animals and my close friends call me “Brigitte Bardot” for an obvious reason. Plus your pets will become bilingual as I’ll speak French with them! I’m retired but still want to remain active. Caring for other people’s pets seem like a good way for me to do this. About: I love all animals and have a puppy of my own that I love to take on runs with me. My dog is my whole world and I would love to help others with their pets. I do work full time but am available for stop ins/walks during lunch time and plenty of play time after 5:30. I generally take my dogs on their walk around 6pm. I am able to board most weekends as well. I can easily crate pets if needed. I do not have a fenced in yard but have tie offs with long leashes. I have also near a school that has a fenced in yard that I and other neighborhood dogs use. For dogs, we will start with a walk to burn off some energy. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water and then we will enjoy more playtime. Throughout the day I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, well-fed and engaged. For cats, I’ll start by providing fresh food and water and spend time with interactive toys or quiet cuddles.
About: I'm a young professional and homeowner with a six-year-old Cocker Spaniel and two cats (I just had to get my anxious boy his own cat). I've had animals my whole life and often find myself gravitating to animals over people. My animals are my family and in my care, yours will be too! I work a full-time job, but my home activities center around the animals. They're cared for morning and evening, and my weekend activities are centered around making sure the animals have adequate care and socialization. They're provided fresh water twice a day, food twice a day, and the dog always gets time outside of the house once I'm home, even in the cold.

About: I’m very good with different personalities of the dog and can work to what they feel comfortable with. Love giving them attention and making them happy! I am free from 3-7pm after I get off work. Taking care of animals fits perfectly into my afternoon schedule and is a great distressor as well. Depending on the animal we can play more outside or inside make sure they are feeling loved and happy. My dog personally loves being outside so we spend most our time on walks.
About: My first job growing up was working for my aunts Dog Grooming Business. With that experience, I am able to bathe, trim, nails, and give haircuts to most breeds. I have been watching dogs for family and friends most of my adult life either in Home or at their home. I enjoy being outside taking dogs on walks in nature & letting them sniff all the smells. I currently work from home and I’m the owner of my business so my time is very flexible. I am able to go to homes or watch pets in my home during the day and nights. My home has a large unfenced yard with a woods where we are able to go on walks and explore. I have two dogs in my home and they are part of my family. I do have crates in home if needed, but rarely use them. Both of my dogs are rescues currently so I do like to have a meeting before if a dog will be staying in our home. If I’m watching the pet in your home, I will come over as much as needed and even stay the night if that is necessary.
