About: I love rescues, seniors, energetic dogs, loafers and grumpy pets. I call all dogs pups, no matter how old they are. With a scared or unsure dog, I don’t try to force a friendship. I’m happy to sit with them, keep them company and let them decide when they’re ready. I worked for several years at a local veterinary practice and about two years in an emergency veterinary hospital, working with dogs, cats and birds. I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my life, including adult rescues. I also have farm-sitting experience with chickens, ducks, geese, quail, rabbits, turtles, pigs, sheep, goats and turkeys, and have spent time around cattle, zebras, donkeys and horses. About: I have had 2 dogs of my own since I was 12. I have dog sat many dogs for friends and others for at least 6 years. I also went to school for Zoo and Wildlife Biology I am currently not working in the summer. My schedule will change once school starts back up. However, I can still be flexible with my time. I’m happy to sit with them, keep them company and let them decide when they’re ready. I worked for several years at a local veterinary practice and about two years in an emergency veterinary hospital, working with dogs, cats and birds. I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my life, including adult rescues. I also have farm-sitting experience with chickens, ducks, geese, quail, rabbits, turtles, pigs, sheep, goats and turkeys, and have spent time around cattle, zebras, donkeys and horses. My schedule is currently very flexible, with plenty of time for the dogs in my care. Most days include outside time, walks, play, meals, hanging out and plenty of time to relax. I’m happy to follow the routine your dog is used to at home. We have a spacious fenced-in backyard and one friendly, active senior dog who enjoys having company. I’ll want to know what your dog is used to at home — meals, sleeping, crate routine, favorite spots and anything that helps them feel comfortable. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and bed here.
