About: Pets are family, and they deserve to be treated like family. I have doggy sat for a family friend for 3yrs, Zoe, and Zarley. They go out 4 to 5 times a day, they get treats for going boo boo outside. We run around the apartment and play as much as my bones will let me. I am able to brush the furbabies every day, and multiple times a day if needed. I do talk to them like they can answer me…..😂😂. Animals understand more than we think they do. I love animals so much. I wish I could get one for me. But at this time, I am unable to afford one. I will not get any animal that I know I can’t pay for what they need. I was working up until 09/2025. I got hurt at work, and I’m unable to return. I am available 24/7 now. I have plenty of time to give ALL of my time to furbabies now. I have a full time job working midnights. I get off at 7am, but don’t usually go to sleep till around 10am. I do not work Friday nights. My part time job is just Mon., we’d., and Fri, from 9am to 1pm. I have every other weekend off. I always put fur babies first in my home. I play with them as often as I can. They are allowed on the furniture and bed. No matter what I am doing, I will stop to take them out, or play with them. I DO NOT give for babies ppl food, their little digestive system mite not be able to handle it. If there is something extra that you say they need, and you don’t have, I will buy it for them. I remove any and everything off the floors, so they cannot get in it. If there is a special diet that they have, I will just need written instructions on how to prepare it.

About: I have cared for cats and kittens of all ages (including neonates). I am knowledgeable about cat behavior and their needs. I am experienced doing simple grooms (sanitary trims, paw trims, etc.) in the process of learning to do full grooms, I am experienced in administering most medications (oral, topical, etc.), nail trimming, bathing and more! I am also experienced with working with feral cats. I really enjoy finding toys for cats that don't have much interest in them and getting them to play! While making house visits I can provide some services for your cats: I will bring my own supplies. My tools are sanitized between clients. Lion cut or full groom: $20-$40 depending on toleration Cat sanitary cut and nail trim: $15-$25 Full groom, nail trim and bath: $45-$70 depending on toleration of the grooming process. Nail trim only: $10 Dematting, nail trim, and bath: $50 and up depending on the time it takes to work out matts and how tolerant your pet is (for severe matting I will recommend a full shave) If your pet is severely stressed during a groom, I may not be able to finish the process, or it may take more time than usual to help your pet adjust. I intend to keep my practices fear free. Fleas: If fleas are found, a $15 charge is added to your bill. This goes towards the process of keeping fleas from infecting my own animals upon my return home. All prices, on all services are subject to change due to time involved and your pets tolerance.

When we got married, we adopted a greyhound racer. We had him for 7 years and lost him unfortunately due to cancer. About: I have always had pets . I grew up helping my mother groom and take care of dogs. I would do anything for an animal. I am available all 24/7 everyday. I am willing to work any day of the week. I am availability because this is my only job, and I am passionate. I have been lucky enough to be raised with dogs my entire life. My family were breeders for standard poodles at one point, which was amazing to watch and learn about. I am no stranger to special needs, administering meds, able to provide short term care until help arrives. I love all dog breeds equally and will treat your dog like my own. This is my passion. I have 2 guest rooms that can be turned into private doggo apartments. If your pets need exercise I can provide. If they need relaxation, I love cuddles on the couch. We have crates of all sizes, beds for any size dog, dog gates for stairs, enough rooms to spread out and separate if needed, and live minutes away from a fenced in dog park. We live 3 minutes from 2 vet clinics and we use them for our own dogs. We have security cameras in the house with 2 way speakers if we need to step out for any reason. Please let us know about your dogs temperament with other dogs ahead of time. If your dog has special needs or quirks around certain people. We are happy to share our dogs food but would prefer food is delivered with the dog for stays. We are used to dogs that have a tendency to run if given the chance but appreciate heads up so we can be extra attentive.

I currently am on summer break, and free about all week except for weekends. There is lots of space for pets to run on our property, and I will be attentive at all times! I have watched dogs at others houses for years, along with taking care of my own animals at home! I have administered medication intake for animals, followed strict diets, and made sure they all get their energy out! I prioritize making sure the pets feel safe in the environment as my biggest heartbreak is an animal's sadness!
About: I’ve been responsible for the care of pets most of my life. Pets are family to me. I love getting to know their individual personalities and supporting their needs. My routine varies daily and weekly. Weekends and evening are more open but, depending on the day and mommy schedule, I can sometimes be available during the day on week days. Overnight stays can be available for house-sitting if my 14 pound, male dog, Franklin, can accompany me; he is very friendly and attached to me. When I became a Mom and my youngest son begged us to get a dog, I was so happy. We added Rocky to our family 12 years ago and he’s been my companion ever since. About: Hello! My name is Tabatha Garman, I am the sole owner and operator of Special Paws Pet Care and a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). As a veterinary technician, I play the nurse role of the veterinary team. I graduated from Kent State University with my Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology in May of 2021 and am currently pursuing my Bachelor's of Integrated Studies focused in animal behavior. While in school for my technician license, I gained various hands-on skills with a variety of animals, from dogs and cats to birds, horses, snakes, and much more. Outside of school, I have trained at numerous veterinary hospitals and gained vital experience in CPR and emergency response. My personal experience caring for animals expands far beyond my education and career, as I have cared for my own, family's, and friend's pets my entire life. As previously mentioned, I have a vast range of experience with different species from small pocket pets and reptiles to large and farm animals. I love working with nearly any species, especially pigs and cows! My medication administration skills are just as vast, including giving various types of injections and fluids, oral pill and liquid administration, topical applications, etc. Any pets with special needs are assured to be taken care of! Specializing in animal behavior, those with unique personalities or who are a bit grumpy or naturally prefer alone time are some of my favorite to work with. I love working to understand them and win them over and am happy to try to work with any type of disposition or behavioral challenges. No job is too big or small. Whether you have a pet that needs daily medication, help getting around, and extra special care, or just want to feel comforted knowing that your furry family member is in great hands, I am happy to care for any and all of them. I am currently dedicating my time to in-home pet care while going to school full-time online, so I am free to fit your pet into my schedule however you may need. While I do personalize my schedule to fit your pet specifically, my typical day is scheduled like this and changed as needed, just to give you a better idea of your pet's time with me: When I arrive, I always spend time making sure your pet is happy, comfortable, and has everything they need. When staying with them overnight, I will keep them company until morning, make sure they have everything they need and get some pets or playtime in, then I will leave as needed to tend to any other appointments, making sure to return to check-in and spend time with them at minimum every 3-4 hours, unless more frequently is needed. Whether you just need a daily check in and play time for your cat while you're away, or if you need someone to take your pup out every couple of hours along with walks and lots of play time, or even if you have an older pup who can't really spend time alone at all, we can definitely make a plan to suit your family purrr-fectly. Your pet's safety is always my top priority. Whether at home, in the car, at the vet, out for a walk, or at the park, I am always extremely diligent to make sure your pet stays safe and sound. I always use doggy seatbelts or enclosures when driving, reflective strips and flashlights at night, ramps and manual assistance for mobility-challenged pups, predator-deterrent to protect them from harm, and vet-approved chews or boredom busters to make sure your pup is happier and healthier when you arrive back home. Out of an abundance of caution, I typically do not have pets I'm watching interact with other pets I'm unfamiliar with (ie: no communal dog parks). In the case that anything does happen while I am with them, I am trained on the safest and most effective way to stop a dog fight, as well as being trained in CPR, emergency triage and response, and homeostatic stabilization. I also always have a list of the nearest emergency hospitals on hand should they ever be needed. I strive to follow all pet-parent's wants and needs for their pets, including whatever training or rules you may have for your pet while they are in my care (crating, treats, toys, etc).
