About: We have watched many pets over the years and are finally bringing our love to the masses. :) We truly love all animals (every where we have lived animals indoor/outdoor just flock to us it seems ha). We give them the care they deserve and treat every last one as if it were our own personal pet. Jathan works from home every day and Dani's office is dog-friendly and we have some flexibility between the two of us to both do work from home days. If your pup absolutely has to have someone there at all times or has medication needs, we can also rearrange schedules to have both of us work from home, or bring them along to the office! We have a patio dog door, allowing dogs to spend time inside if they wish or to let themselves outside to sunbathe, chase squirrels or burn off any energy if home alone. Guest dogs are rarely left alone for more than a couple of hours, and if I do need to step out, all dogs are safely crated for everyone's security. Outside breaks are offered every 2–3 hours (or more often if needed), with plenty of opportunities for sniffing, play, and relaxation. Most days include two walks, enrichment activities, and, when weather permits, a longer hike or adventure around the adjoining 150-acre property using secure long lines. Dogs who enjoy the water may also have the opportunity to splash in the pond or explore the creek with owner approval. Every dog's activity level is adjusted based on their age, fitness, personality, and your preferences. Your dog's safety and comfort always come first. Every new guest is required to complete a meet-and-greet before booking so we can make sure everyone is a good fit. Because my own dogs share the home, I look for guests who are dog-friendly or dog-tolerant. New dogs are introduced gradually, and crate-free time with my dogs only happens after I've assessed everyone's comfort and temperament. Dogs are continuously supervised while together, and I carefully manage interactions to keep the environment calm and positive. My home features approximately half an acre of securely fenced outdoor space, along with access to 150 acres for on-leash adventures. Guest dogs are never off leash outside the fenced yard; long lines are always used when exploring. Dogs are welcome on the furniture unless you prefer otherwise, and I'll happily follow your household routines and care instructions to help your dog feel at home. Please note this is a hobby farm with chickens and sheep on the premise. They will be secured away from the guest dogs.
