I wanted someone here for them whose heart was truly in this job, and her’s really was. She also not only answered all of our questions, she asked some that we weren’t even thinking about (lights, plants) and took detailed notes. While we were gone, Kayla kept our kitties fed, gave one of them his medication, which we expected, but she also took lots of pictures and sent updates about her time with them. And gosh, I loved these updates! They were detailed, and some made me laugh, these updates also kept me from worrying about my pets during a time when I had a lot going on. “Kayla was awesome! My dogs are very “needy” (lol) and require a lot of time and attention. I needed a day where I could just solely focus on work and getting things done. Also, they hadn’t had a bath or groomed in awhile and their fur was starting to get matted so thought I’d get that done also. I messaged Kayla asking if she was available that week to watch them/bath & brush them. She offered to take them immediately that day! She was very nice when I met her and made me feel comfortable. She took so much care and time with grooming them while also making sure they were comfortable to make sure that she got all the matts out that she actually kept them until 9pm with no extra charge. She also kept me updated every step of the way. My boys came home so soft and clean and I could also tell she tired them out because they both came home and went straight to sleep. With me, you can trust that your fur babies will receive the highest quality of care and attention because of my intrinsic love for animals. My days vary a lot, but I am often able to make time if you give me a week’s notice. If you need urgent pet care, do not hesitate to reach out. I cannot promise that I will 100% be available, but I will make the time if I have it. Honestly, I prefer to play by the owner’s rules when caring for their pets. Besides that, I refuse to take anything but a gentle approach with the pets. I am very careful to only administer treats/toys as the owner instructs.

“Goldie, being a rescue, is a really anxious and apprehensive dog. Lydia was awesome with her, she has the expertise (being a foster for a rescue) to make the dog feel comfortable and safe. Goldie was really spoiled in her stay, we also ran into a delay in our trip and Lydia was awesome and understanding. I totally recommend her for sitting your dog!!”

“Kyri was an excellent dog sitter for Clover! She responded promptly to messages, including my late request for booking, and provided updates and pics of Clover while I was away. She was very accommodating for my senior blind dog and gave her medication (my dog is also diabetic and requires insulin). It was easy to coordinate pick-up and drop-off times. I did not worry about Clover's well being while I was away. I will definitely book with Kyri again!”

“I can not recommend Karen more than enough. She took care of my two dogs for an overnight stay and they were well taken care of. They came back tired and relaxed and you could tell they had the time of their lives. She integrates your dogs into her pack and makes sure everyone gets along. She sends tons of pictures so you always know what your pups are up too. She responds quickly and put a lot of my fears about leaving my dogs with a stranger at ease. They sent well-timed pictures that showed the dogs relaxed by themselves or with one of the family.
