I also have experience with caring for horses, fish, birds, reptiles not just dogs and cats. I have taken care of rabbits, mini pigs, guinea pigs as well. About: I have always had pets of all kinds growing up along with much love for all wildlife. Currently I have 4 cats, 2 dogs, 3 fish and many snails, and a lot of plants! My dog growing up became diabetic (also blind) and I provided him supportive care for the remaining 5 years he had (including special meals and insulin shots)! I have rescued several cats and found loving homes after getting them medical care (I always keep in touch). One of my cats was a bottle baby after finding her on the side of the road at only 3 weeks old, she is now almost 2. I also provided supportive care for my two eldest cats (11years) after their major surgeries (perineal urethrostomy and gallbladder removal). I am also in the process of obtaining my wildlife rehabilitation permit for I always seem to be brought animals to care for and I would like to do more for them than just transporting to a rehabilitator! I have a lot of room at my house which includes the finished basement area with separate rooms, a mudroom, a large fenced in backyard, and kennels if needed. I'm willing to travel to you, or care for your animals here! All my animals are friendly (successfully introduced and integrated) but if yours needs some privacy I can absolutely provide it. I'm here to help, I hope it's clear how important your fur babies would be to me! I would love to make whatever it is you need happen. I am currently a stay at home mom with my own fur babies. My day starts at 6AM when I wake up to feed and walk the dogs and check to see if the cats need anything. I am a teacher so I am available all of June-August to provide all day care for dogs or just walk dogs during the day. When we got married, we adopted a greyhound racer. We had him for 7 years and lost him unfortunately due to cancer. About: Hello!! I have been caring for all kinds of animals since growing up on a small farm as a child. We always had many different farm animals and lots of cats and dogs. As an adult I have always had at least a cat, and currently have 3 dogs and 4 cats...basically a small zoo hahaha. I am used to dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Currently, I have a 9 year old German Shepherd that weighs 120 pounds...he's a very gentle giant that we have had since he was a pup. He has bad knees(has had multiple surgeries) so I'm used to caring for his special needs and giving daily meds. (Pupdate on my 120 lb bff - I lost my baby boy pretty unexpectedly March 31, 2025- he had just turned 10. My heart was torn to shreds from his loss😭) We also have a 7.5 year old German Shepherd. She weighs 85 pounds and is a rescue with extreme anxiety. We call her our backyard/house dog only. It is where she is most comfortable so that's where she stays to fit her needs!! And last but not least, we rescued our baby girl almost a year ago. She is likely a lab mix and around 50 pounds/ 1.5 years old. She needs lots and lots of exercise and attention!! I am very familiar with puppies and the extra needs they require. I've also cared for really senior dogs as we lost our Lab boy of 14 years to cancer not long ago. I decided to look into doing this as we are always looking for someone reliable to help us out when we need to leave our animals. I realize they are not just part of your family...they are family and it's hard to leave them and be comfortable with it. I would love to meet you and your pets before we set up to determine that everyone is comfortable and compatible and to make your leaving them with me stress-free! I look forward to hearing from you! I am self employed and work mostly from home. My schedule is pretty flexible and mine to make. I can make most anytime work! It is extremely important to me that when you schedule services, you schedule ALL pets in the home I will be caring for. I realize there isn't an option for a hamster, or guinea pig, etc however please use "additional cat" and mark other breed and discuss this with me during our chat & before our meet n greet! Communication is key from the start❤️ and I need to know there is enough time to care for everyone properly! I am currently unable to care for your pets in my home but I will take care of your pets In your home just as you wish me too! Detailed notes on the pets schedule, feedings, meds, etc work great!! I have had many animals growing up dogs, cats, lizards and even a raccoon 😃 I have trained dogs from their puppy stages and loved every minute of it. You can trust that ur babies will be in good hands.. ❤️ I am currently working but I have plenty of time to give my full attention and time to your fur babies. I am available weekends! I have a big yard for your fur babies to run around in and also two dogs of my own to play along. I am also able to crate if needed!
