He also isn’t a very affectionate dog (he only likes being petted when he first wakes up, then he has has enough and doesn’t really want that). When I went to pick him up he was loving all over them. About: Growing up I have always cared for our family pets. Today I have 3 rescue dogs of my own. My pups are apart of my family. I volunteer to transport dogs to a safe homes. Animals of any type depend on their humans to care for them. When their humans can’t be there for some reason they still need that special care and attention. About: I had dogs growing up as a child and have taken care of them on and off throughout my whole life, but some specific examples of pet care include: taking care of my Grandparents 2 dogs when they no longer could, taking care of my best friends dogs (and many cats) when she goes on vacation, & of course taking care of my 2 cats that I am currently a mom of (I have had cats throughout my whole adult life). My last dog unfortunately had to have her leg amputated when she got older, so I also have experience with disabled dogs.
